Overall, everything was really good. I love that the hotel was on the quiet side of the island so there was no noise at night time or early in the morning. The staff was great and very friendly and the owners were really nice as well. Of course, I loved Donald the duck, he was super cute. The room was spacious, with plenty of space for storage and the bathroom as well. The bed was comfy and big. The A/C worked well. It was lovely to have a little balcony where to sit during the day and the hammock. The pool was good too. When it comes to breakfast, I probably would have loved a bit of bigger portions, however the banana pancakes were delicious. If you are coming with suitcases you definitely need a horse cart to bring you there, but then you can rent bikes or walk to any part of the island (I enjoyed it a lot). They also offer laundry service and, although it was slightly more expensive than other places, I found it pretty good and very convenient as they dropped it to the room. You can pay with cash or card and add all your expenses to a final bill, which for me was very handy. I would definitely stay there again.

The welcome, pools, breakfast, drinks and service were excellent. Bikes can be hired next door and really made the stay fun - we rented bikes, never finding the same route back and got lost every time which was entertaining (I recommend using phone torches as it is very dark in the middle of the island at night!). The owner's daughter had a new pet - Donald - a v cute duckling - hopefully 'they' are still there, as we think he was really a Jemima...

If, like me, you are snake phobic, you might be a little nervous. I am delighted to say I didn't see one but the hotel is kind of in the forest so I was conscious of the reasons the bungalows are on stilts and why there are planks of wood around where the walls meet the ceiling. The bathrooms are open air, which my family loved (obviously I knew they were when I booked) and had to have an escort with me when I showered - I am pleased to say there is a solid wall between the shower and the loo, so that my son could chat to me while I was showering. Pathetic I know!!!!!

A nice and quiet place with friendly and helpful staff. Our room felt like a cottage with no noise or disturbances. You can spend the whole day watching the plants and enjoying their garden while relaxing in the hammocks or chairs. I highly recommend this place as it is close to North Beach, where you can watch the sunset, and just a 10-minute bike ride to the east side for parties. The restaurant usually closes by 8 PM as everyone leaves for the parties, so inform the staff in advance if you need food at night. The staff are very friendly and do their best to assist you with any information you need.

Mark the owner welcomed us with a non alcoholic drink and a cold towel, which was a nice touch. We were given infos about the island with recommendations for eating and activities. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but good. (Cereals, fruit: watermelon and pineapples and a hot option, either egg options or pancakes). The hotel/villa is very well kept, clean pool area, hammocks and fresh flowers.

Although there were power cuts, but this had nothing to do with the propriety, the wi fi connection was quite poor. The only negative feedback is regarding the white towels provided which were stained and overused, didn’t give us a nice feeling using them.

The room was spacious and the bed huge and comfortable. Open air shower was fun. Breakfast was delicious and we also had dinner there that had good portions and tasty food. We really liked the water dispenser so we could refill our water bottles. We rented bikes from the property to move around the island and also did laundry. The garden itself really felt like an oasis with 2 nice pools and lots of beautiful flowers. It was in a quiet area of the island but still only 10min cycle to the center (only 5min to sunset spot/snorkelling spots). Staff was very nice and helpful.

The towels were barely absorbing any water

Everything! My partner and I originally booked to stay here for a few days and ended up staying a month! Mark, Aya, Aarya, Yos, Ryan and all the rest of the staff same are one of the highlights. They are all so kind, accommodating, helpful and professional. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well air conditioned. The hotel is situated in a quieter area of the island which was ideal for us. The pool area is lovely with plenty of seats and two pools to chose from. There are bikes available to rent from the property too for a great price. Turtle point is a short walk from the hotel. There are lots of outdoor cinemas and gorgeous restaurants close by too. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Beautiful garden with 2 pools. Room was clean and bathroom was great with new batteries. Cozy hammock just outside the room and free refills of cold water. Breakfast was also nice. Location was great, easy to bike to and from even in the night. We especially appreciated bike rental service at a really good price. We thank the staff and the ownership for their attention and help when we needed. They went extra mile to ensure we have a nice stay. Everybody was very positive and lovely. We extended our stay and we would come again.

It might be nice to create some kind of separation between each room from the outside so that it feels more like a private outdoor patio rather than an open space. It is just a little note, nothing that reflects badly in my rating. Lastly some guests were loud and we had a hard time sleeping the first night. This isn’t again something that the staff can influence, but perhaps making a note about staying quiet in the night hours would help prevent this at least in some cases:)

The stay at the resort exceeded our expectations! While the island itself was a bit disappointing and tiring, the hotel was its brightest point for us and gave us some respite. Starting with the fact that the employees create an absolutely fantastic atmosphere of genuine care for the guests, but not the kind that the customer pays so they can demand, but the kind that is shown to the guests at home. It's hard to explain exactly, but if you have visited several hotels in Bali, Lombok or Java, you can notice a very clear difference. Helpful, smiling, friendly. The hotel has a beautiful garden with two swimming pools and a well-stocked bar where you can also order various things to eat at competitive prices. The room is very spacious, comfortable, with a pleasant terrace and efficient air conditioning. Everything as it should be for a successful holiday.

We liked everything, but the only thing I noticed that could be improved is the bikes for rent. The hotel has many bicycles that make getting around the island very easy. However, almost all of them have major or minor defects, e.g. the brake does not work, it creaks and shakes, or because of the uncomfortable saddle it is impossible to sit while riding on uneven terrain. You can ride these bikes, but if someone took good care of them, maintained them and repaired them properly, it would be perfect. We used the bikes every day and everything was fine, if someone requires bikes in excellent condition, they can look for them in the rental shop in the center. Maybe he will find some, but the truth is that due to weather conditions, rust, sand and intense wear creep in everywhere.

Staff was so friendly and helpful every time. Room is spacious, and gets cleaned upon request. Swimming pool is refreshing and clean. Bike rental is available and affordable. Location is nice and quiet, but not too far from the crowds, so perfect! Breakfast was delicious.

Water quality is not good, luckily I brought a water filter to attach to the shower head. I recommend you do the same. Not the accommodation’s fault though, so I don’t blame them for it. It’s a universal Gili problem I’m afraid.

One of the best places we stayed at during our Indonesia journey! The value you get for the price is amazing, it is a very relaxed resort with two pools, large beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast is included and good value. The staff was very kind and helpful and spoke good English. Especially Sukri always welcomed us warm heartedly. We enjoyed our three nights here and would always book again!

The only slightly negative point about this place is that it is fairly far away from the harbour. However, this results in it being quiet and relaxing and you can get a lift with the local horse and cart.
