The property is in my opinion located on the best part of the island... Protection from the wind, Best Beach, Best snorkeling, away from the crowds. We literally snorkled with turtles every morning. The villa we stayed in was awesome with the open air toilet and dining area, which takes some getting used to.

The food at the resort restaurant might be a bit overpriced. Anyway, you have a hundred other restaurants is close proximity to choose from. Further, the breakfast portions are very small so you end up paying for the top ups nulifying the inclusive breakfast. Also, don't hire scooters and bikes from the resort. You can literally walk 20m and hire the same for 30% cheaper.

We absolutely loved our 4 days and nights at Gili Eco Villas. This is a kind, calm, serene and relaxed place right on its own beautiful beachfront, with magical sunrises and sunsets you can watch from the sand or the lounge area. What truly makes it special is the warm, attentive and caring people who work there. From arrival to departure we felt so genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Our villa had a wonderful open-air lounge living room perfect for relaxing, a fantastic outdoor bathroom where you can shower among little palm trees, and a very comfortable bed with a mosquito net that made sleeping peaceful. Every morning we enjoyed a very tasty breakfast as the light changed over the ocean. A heartfelt thank you to all the fantastic people who work there and made our stay so special: • Wayan – always with a happy smile, encouraging, and so service minded. • Andri – welcoming and attentive. • Yogi – helpful, attentive, and always sharing thoughtful perspectives. Especially grateful for him sharing about Lombok and to meet his dear family. • Ebing – warm and attentive. • Arjuna – helpful and professional. • Ahmad – helpful and attentive. • Opal (apprentice) – working with a smile and balancing the trays well. • Anisa in reception – so nice and kind, always remembered my full name and would stand up with a big smile as soon as I approached. • Nova and Reza – friendly, helpful, and attentive. • And all the others whose names we didn’t catch – thank you for your smiles, care, and gentle presence. Gili Eco Villas is the kind of place where you instantly slow down, breathe deeply, and feel connected to nature and people. We’re deeply grateful for the experience and hope to return one day.

We could need more help with negotiating with the hourse carts to and from the harbour. They always managed to squeeze us on extra 50000 :-). ”200000 is the price for three people” is their negotiating tactic.

We really loved the peaceful and quiet location of Gili Eco Villas. The beach is just beautiful, and we were amazed to see sea turtles swimming close to the shore — an unforgettable experience! The water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety and fresh quality every morning. Overall, a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

The check-in experience could definitely be improved. We would have appreciated more information at arrival — for example, that beach towels had to be picked up at reception. The bicycles provided by the hotel were unfortunately in poor condition. While we managed without working lights, at least all bells should be functioning for safety. Also, one evening we wanted to eat at the restaurant, but the tables were all occupied. Instead of bringing over another table from the beach area (which would have been easy), we were simply turned away. These small things didn’t ruin our stay, but they could certainly be improved.

A tranquil and beautiful part of the island, Gili Eco Villas was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. From an easy walk to watch the sunrise, to breakfast on the beach watching turtles pop up ( the breakfast is wonderful and generous, lots to choose from and fresh.) The pool overlooking the ocean with comfortable daybeds, cool air-conditioned bungalows and super comfy beds and an easy walk straight into the water to snorkel - we highly recommend. The staff too, were engaging and helped with any detail with a smile and with joy. We felt very welcome there and interested in. No need to second guess, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Our week-long stay at Gili Eco Villas in Gili Trawangan was nothing short of magical. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, ensuring our stay was seamless and unforgettable.The highlight of each morning was the incredible breakfast served by the beach—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented with the turquoise waves as a backdrop. It set the perfect tone for the day. And I have to mention the grilled prawns—hands down the best I’ve ever tasted, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The dining experience alone is worth the visit!The villas themselves are a blend of eco-conscious design and comfort, creating a serene home-away-from-home vibe. The entire property exudes tranquility, yet it’s just steps away from the vibrant energy of Gili T. The team’s dedication to making us feel cared for and valued truly elevated our experience.Gili Eco Villas isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a feeling of being home in paradise. We left with full hearts and memories we’ll cherish forever. Can’t wait to return!

Perfectly located at the beach and on the north of the island from where one could go to the west and east side of the island easily. Hammock in your villa, excellent airconditioning, open air bathrooms. Burrito wraps in breakfast were amazing. Mr. WAYAN Duty Manager was extremely helpful and always smiling and looking after your requirements. We even took a Snorkeling tour to Gili Meno from Gili T through the hotel which was carefully looked after. One could rent cycle at the hotel, no need to go anywhere. Overall, a pleasant experience. Will surely come back again to Gili Eco Villas !

Location was awesome- Rooms beautiful Pool and beach wonderful

The restaurant was average - And in unpredictable We had ok breakfast Pool side lunch very good We had one fantastic seafood barbecue Dinner on our last night was very very average - it took 45mins to be told that they didn’t have what we ordered - then when we reordered the fish was horrible. We were unable to eat it. There were 4 of us for dinner - they completely forgot the 4th meal - we waited another 30 mins after we had all finished dinner for it to arrive- guess we just caught the kitchen and wait staff on a bad night as the rest of our stay was amazing

Set away from the party areas and back from the road you find peace and privacy. The staff are all lovely and the location is perfect - one of the best beach fronts, close to snorkelling/sunset spots and near yoga. Rent a bike and get around easily.

Not a swimming beach type of island, at least without water shoes, which you can buy there. The island itself I feel like didn’t offer much other than party vibes, which I expected in the south, but didn’t realise how full on it is just about everywhere. That said, we had a lovely time as a young family at gili eco villas. Without the facilities and staff, our time on Gili T wouldn’t have been the same.

I loved the location right on the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also very close to snorkelling and sunsets every afternoon right out front of your hotel. The beach restaurant was divine, the food amazing, the infinity pool magical, and the staff extremely friendly. They always remembered my name, and I felt very safe as a female traveller. I will bring the family back to visit and only stay at Gilli Eco Villas. It is the best on the island, without a doubt!

room service could be an option, you could order and take it back to your room maybe a whats app number can be included to order drinks and food to your room?

Villas are nicely set up, the outside bathrooms, the lounge and chill areas, and the bedrooms are lovely. Staff friendly and helpful. It's so peaceful and a relaxing family environment. Breakfast is a lovely edition and worth the value, and we enjoyed having breakfast at our Villa, which allowed for family private dining.

Hotel guests should be given mossie spray and the restaurant should be better equipped to curb the irritation of flies during meal times. Providing bicycles as part of facilities would be a nice to have (although they do arrange them for hire). For rainy days, some board games, packs of cards, and / or chess sets would be a lovely edition for families.
