The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not so great, but still large variety of food available.

The bar on the ground floor is very loud especially cause of the live music performances. The gym and swimming pool are tiny and they're there only to check the box for facilities. The rooms are also very small with tiny space. In general, I upgraded a few points in the review due to the friendliness of the staff.

The Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim provided an exceptional three-night city stay. The room was remarkably spacious, with a comfortable king bed and ample living area – a true urban luxury. The hotel's central location is its standout feature. Major attractions are just a short walk away, while excellent public transport options make exploring effortless. For convenience, you couldn't ask for better positioning – restaurants, cafés, and shopping all surround the property. After busy days of sightseeing, returning to my spacious sanctuary felt like having a private apartment in the heart of the action. If you value both room size and prime location for your city adventures, Aloft Jakarta Wahid Hasyim delivers brilliantly on both counts.

This is a very clean, modern boutique hotel very close to central Jakarta so easy to access sights and malls. I do volunteer work in community schools in North and South Jakarta so even with traffic it is easy to access them. Also close to some great restaurants (walking distance). I have been coming to this hotel for the last 4 years. 1. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dery and Bimo for the check-in experience. Tedgar amazing bartender - very humble and easy to talk to. And Abim for helping me to get a taxi on a busy Friday night when there was a long wait for a gocar 2. Rooms are spacious enough, very clean and quiet, comfortable bed. Nice view of the skyline. 3 Good variety of breakfast and very helpful staff.

The staff were the friendliest bunch, ever so helpful and always ready to engage with the warmest smile. Hats off to them! Room was excellent in every aspect. Well designed and thought of. As for the bed, you'll just sink in and never want to get out of! You get both soft and firm pillows as well as a bolster pillow. Iron board in the room. Spacious room. Two desk areas to plonk your stuff plus the two bedside desks. Nice city views. Nice on-site food options. Nice swimming pool and gym. Reasonably priced, heavenly on-site massage services. And many more.

Swimming pool was a bit cold and somewhat small if there are other people around but it still beats not having one. I personally find the double security procedures at the gate and entrance a bit of a hassle for me and grab drivers, and makes one wonder as to how safe the city is... even though I didn't feel unsafe throughout my stay. But maybe it is a necessity to protect the property.

The room was quiet and clean. We loved the bed -- they were very comfortable and the pillows were heaven. The bathroom was also clean which makes is comfortable for us to get cleaned. The only thing we enjoyed most from their breakfast was the soto ayam.

Unfortunately the breakfast we had on 15th November 2023 did not reach our expectations. The "hot foods" were not hot. The Nasi Goreng was taste-less -- needs more seasoning. The beef bacon were almost spoiled. The staff at the egg station needs more training -- we asked for sunny side up but it turned out to be fried egg (flipped). We had to request for sunny side up egg 3 times. The second time the egg was not cooked well. There was a male staff who yelled at a lady staff in front of guests, which made us felt uncomfortable and sorry for the lady staff. The male staff did not necessarily have to show that much anger with guests around; he could've politely spoken with the lady staff in the back.

Location is pretty good, it's inside the heart of Jakarta. Sadly the nearest convenience store is a little bit far, but that's not an issue. I managed to grab some snacks and drinks at the kiosk station next to the lobby. Overall experience is pretty excellence, staffs are very friendly and attentive, not to mention the room is quite spacious.

Perhaps some minor maintenance works needs to be done to upkeep the room condition, especially the bathroom. Water leaking is a kinda big thing. Besides, there's one water bottle cap opened without noticed by the housekeeper, for hygiene concern, I didn't consume it. Attention to details must be improved.

Room is spacious and clean, bed is comfy, got iron board and iron steam. Breakfast is super delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lobby area has few stuff/game that we can use to play. Location is within walking distance to good food and shops.

Pillows are a bit soft for us, no hair-dryer, plastic shower cap is not good.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself still looks new & we found it very quiet. The room size was good & the bed comfortable. It is near the centre of Jakarta with several of the well know shopping mall within easy reach.

The swimming pool was a little disappointing and small.

the location is excellent, in the city center just 15 minutes walk from the biggest malls in Jakarta and 5 minutes walk from Sarinah mall, tons of options for food and drinks nearby, has a touristy vibe with so many other hotels in the vicinity, feels safe, joyful and vibrant. the hotel has a youthful appeal and design, everything works well, the room is cute and well appointed and mattress and linen are splendid. the check in and check out process is efficient and the staff are courteous and super helpful!

the carpets throughout and inside the room in particular can be shampooed to feel cleaner and fresher. The prices at the Bar and in the lounge area beside the reception are a bit on the high side discouraging consumption. The ground floor lobby and cafe bar is tastefully designed and more reasonable prices will attract more guests and feel nicely busier but that’s only my opinion.

Room is really comfortable, clean. It is above my expectation about the room. Location is great and easy for me to travel around. It is close to so many places and easy to get taxi. Staffs are great and helpful.
