Every 12 days was great during I stay in Morrissey, Jakarta. The room was always clean and neat. It was good to have a notice in-advance about temporary electricity issue for check and select room clean time in a paper, if I didnt get the service yet due to hanging ‘taking a relax’ message in front of the door. The breakfast was also awesome. Fish fries was sometime very salty, but most food was so deligent. Everyday menu was changed, and I could feel how chef care about the quality and diversity of menu. The fruit condition was also very nice, especially Papaya. I loved the ginger smoothie Jamu too. I couldn’t know the name but a woman staff at breakfast hall who carries the customer’s leftover dishes was so kind and professional. The front men for parking lot and car entrance was so gentle too. I would definitely recommend Morrissey to others.

We chose the property because it’s pretty much walking distance to all the Jakarta’s landmark and food area. We walked to the Selamat Datang monument and to some bars. Perfectly located in the central of Jakarta. The room is clean and spacious. The swimming pool is big enough to do rounds. The gym is small but it has all the things I need to work out.

The pillows are not the best ones. We asked the receptionist to provide a better ones. But the new ones still not what we hope for. It’s a minor details. Not many people care about pillows anyway. But at least the hotel tried to accommodate our request.

The hotel reminded me a bit of NY: cool, simple yet stylish studio with black wooden floorboards, exposed concrete ceiling and white-painted brick walls. Comfortable bed and quiet enough for a good nights sleep, despite the street in front of it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and deserve special praise. The breakfast was also great, mainly indonesian food but enough western options for those who prefer them. The pool on the roof is big enough to swim in and has a great view. I was mostly by myself there. The gym is very small with few machines and poorly air-conditioned. I also used the free launderette, including the tumble dryer. Very practical. Bravehearts can even rent a bike or a scooter. The neighbourhood offers amenities such as a decent pavement (not common in Jakarta) and some nice restaurants (a healthy lunch: Honu, dinner: Abeto, dine-in: italian) within walking distance. The Bogor Line station Gongdangdia is a 5 minute walk, Sarinah Mall is 10 and there you can find a large supermarket, a fast food market in the basement and a Telkomsel office (to get a local sim card).

The only downside is the problem of getting a proper bill. This has happened to me occasionally recently because the hotels argue, this should come from the agent, but booking doesn't issue a proper invoice, just a confirmation. This then causes problems later with refunds, tax etc.. To date I do not have a receipt but my complaint is pending and I hope it will get done.

I am totally disgusted with booking.com and I have no other way of letting booking.com know that they are scammers. I am charged a higher rate than the person sitting next to me, while I have so called awards and privileges. Obviously there is no way to contact any living being on that platform.

I still am disgusted with booking.com and will refrain from using this platform for the rest of my life. I am so very upset to find out that with all my supposed awards my bookings (made in good faith) turn out to be more expensive than any Joe from the street who makes the same booking. I was just checking because I became suspicious. I am deleting my account and will never ever use your services. Plus you do not want to communicate with your clients. Plus you got a bailout from my tax money for your so called covid losses. You are the epitome of everything that is wrong with the world. I will not stop spreading this message.

Staff is Crazy good, they did their best to improve our staying there and tried to fix everything we didn’t like. They have little motorbikes for the kids, they (and me!) loved them!

Don’t bother spending a night in the 10th floor, it’s so noisy you wont sleep at all. They have built the whole stack of the hotels ACs above the ceiling and we had to change 2 times rooms until we moved from the 10th to the 3rd floor. They will help you but you will pay for a 2 bedroom apartment and will spend the holidays in two separate rooms. So avoid the 10th floor at all costs.

Great location and good value for money. Pool is large with city view. Room was spacious and convenient. This is one of the best areas to walk around in Jakarta, which is rare. Good connection to varipus modes of transport including train and metro.

There's always some small things to complain about (better coffee, clearer towel cleaning policies, better drainage?) but it was a very pleasant stay!

I was especially impressed by the service at arrival even from the security all the way to the reception. The location was nothing short than perfect! Room was very clean and cosy with all the right amenities which, I thought only 5 star hotels give. The breakfast was just super!

I was very disappointed with the restaurant Zoti. No doubt we utilised the free Pizza coupon but had an issue with the wine and was handled very poorly by the big heavy man, when he scolded the waitress with us in sight. It was simple, she took a wrong order and we got served the wrong wine. It happens. But they should simply be changed and not made a big fuss of. Especially not in front of us. And the pizza wasn't great anyway. The seafood wasn't fresh. I was supposed to invite my friends from Jakarta to have a meal there the next day but I cancelled because I don't like the service there. Such a shame that the person in charge lack finesse in handling problems, because the restaurant itself looks beautiful.

Location is good. Staff is very professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast spread is delicious and variety is sufficient. Bed and pillow is comfortable. Toilets is clean.

The pool is clean and adequate. But I think there are some rough edges in the pool wall or floor. Both me and my partner got cuts on our foot and different location in the pool.

The Staffs Is Superb Friendly, Kids Friendly with A lot of Kids Activities In The Hotel Complimentary, Free Electric Scooter To Around City, Free Tub-tub@Transfer To Certain Location, Good Location.. Appreciate Value Of Money To be Stay… Free Bicycles For Rides … Love the hotel and will come again… Recommended for the family trip..

The Room Facility Is Good But It will be more better/excellent if the hotel upgrading the beds..

The hotel is centrally located withing walking distance to the MRT, malls, and lots of restaurants. The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly and responsive. The room is big with plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen room service is fast and tasty. The free laundry room facilities were an added bonus!

The room layout was strange -- it was a big room, with an odd layout. The shower was huge but the toilet area was small. The sink was outside the toilet area in the living room space. The blinds didn't sufficiently block the morning light. Limited closet hanging space so we ended up leaving our suitcases open on the floor.
