This is a beautifully designed hotel. It's quite new, situated amidst the bustling Gatot Subroto. I was really amazed by design of the hotel rooms (I've seen three different ones). The view is stunning, even on the lower floors. The swimming pool is awesome. The breakfast has plenty of options; Western and Eastern food. If you don't mind walking 5-10 minutes, you can use the Pancoran LRT station which connects you to other options of public transport (travel to the Dukuh Atas hub to get on trains/MRT). The hotel has a several places to eat, including the White Rock (yeah, yeah!) and the Wayang cafe. If you happen to order food via room service, I'd recommend the fish and chips.

The traffic noise in the lower floors can be disrupting, as the hotel lies at one of Jakarta's busiest roads. If you're sensitive to traffic noise, ask for a room at a higher floor.

Very clean, had all the necessary things for a business trips. Eg. Decent shampoo and shower gels, sockets were all meant for international plugs which were great. No need to bring your own travel adaptor. Sufficient sockets around. Tv channels availability were good. There’s also bottled water dispenser located at hotel room levels which is great. Love the movement towards less plastic and encouraging self refills. Strong WiF. Great selection of food for breakfast. Gym and pool facilities at Level 17 had great views. Staff spoke good English and always courteous. Housekeeping was observant to note that I left the Do Not disturb on initially (as I only needed to leave in the afternoon) and then I switched to housekeeping in the afternoon. They texted me promptly to verify what I wanted. This was a very nice gesture. Housekeeping Indra was sweet to leave a cute little note and towel designs on the bed too. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 nights stay at Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto.

The spa / massage services could do with some improvements in terms on massage skills and customer experience. Let’s Relax in Novotel Bangkok Pratunam does an excellent job on it.

Location is the top reason why I stay here. I stay here every time I'm in Jakarta, as long as there's availability. It's a straight shot to and from SCBD which makes it very attractive to stay in. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff leave you alone, the breakfast has a wide variety. Nothing not to love!

For this particular stay of 1-night... everything was as expected. The only annoyance was that the Wifi didn't start working until about 11pm. But it was only a minor inconvenience.

Clean and spacious

The hotel need learn to save earth, I always turn off all the electricity and aircond adjusted to room temperature, but the daily house keeping staff always turn on all of the light and set the aircond to lowest temperature with max fan and let the room freeze to the max while no body inside. Even before check in. Save the earth please and it able to save your hotel operation cost as well.

The hotel staff has been very well trained. They were active and anticipated needs. I was greeted by name by the reception team and the breakfast team. The managers deserve a big 'well done' for having such a professional staff. I will stay here again. The location is great and the hotel is perfect for a working visit to Jakarta. 10 out of 10.

It was a great experience for me everything was perfect. The room and corridors, the hotel in general was very clean and nice. The cleaning and Housekeeping team works very well, the open buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner were very nice and delicious. The gym was great, the pool was also very good

The front desk staff could be a little more customer and service focused. I ate at the White Rock restaurant 3 times but each time the service and presentation were of poor quality.

Room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious! Staff were very obliging and many of them are able to speak English too. I lost my glasses in the pool and the staff did their best to help me out! With regular Jakarta traffic, the hotel is just about 15 minutes away from the Whoosh high-speed train station.

The lobby and swimming pool can feel a little small when there are many people but it's no issue.

My stay at Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto was a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is commendable, situated in a convenient and accessible area. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The facilities provided were acceptable, meeting the basic requirements for a comfortable stay.

However, one aspect that could use improvement is the breakfast offerings. While sufficient, the variety and quality could be enhanced to better match the overall positive experience offered by the hotel.

That they deactivate your key card before the check out time. I was unfortunately locked out when getting water beforehand, and hand to go downstairs to get my card reactivated.

I received an upgrade as part of the Genius program, and I was very impressed. The room was spacious and spotless. The staff were attentive, polite, and made me feel truly welcome. The concierge team was especially helpful throughout my stay. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I’m already planning to return in June.
