Nice and close to the beach and the staff were extremely helpful

The rain due to time of our stay our bungalow was not entirely weather proof the bathroom was enormous but the rain came in through the ceiling floor boards from the veranda above and wet everything. The bungalow also had a traditional hut style so upstairs was very hot due to gaps between the roof and walls and one of the doors to outside veranda was just a roll up blind which made it not mosquito proof or insulated enough to allow the aircons to work. Also travel time as I was solo with 2 kids and had to go by car to any tourist activity like Ubud, Uluwatu it took up a lot of time. But do-able and the staff were very accommodating. They really couldn’t do enough to make sure your stay was enjoyable.

5 minute walk to the beach (just wear good shoes). I added a picture of the path. Was perfect location for taking surf lessons. I liked the restaurant food and the spa was reasonably priced Good price for me as a solo traveller - the only thing you need to be aware of is the cheaper room does not have AC

Buying water at the hotel is much more expensive than if you buy at a store (20,000 v 7,000) so just keep that in mind It is a bit far from connivence stores so you need to take a grab ride Bathroom had a damp musty smell Spa was small and not much privacy just curtains that moved with the wind

Super comfortable bed! The room was very clean and staff were really helpful in supporting us to rent a motor bike and very friendly. The hotel pool was so nice in the hot weather and we loved hanging out with the hotel dogs each night and playing a game of pool in the lounge/reception area. The hotel is in a great location about 20/30 minutes from Uluwatu and in the local area there are bars and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was great too! The only downside was I booked a bungalow without A/C although it did have a ceiling and floor fan on two occasions the humidity in the room was a bit much. Although you can get bungalows with A/C, entirely my mistake.

I wish I’d realised I had booked a room without A/C and only a fan and ceiling fan as it was quite hot during the time that we stayed.

The pool was great for its size. It was clean but it dropped away significantly in the middle which may prove a problem for small children if not supervised. Beach was very difficult to get to so did not visit. The meals were fabulous, we ate 3 meals a day during our stay & I would have to say best food ever.

The room was very basic & the bathroom was just ample with shower on the wall which tended to spray over the whole room & toilet also. it had a small sink outside the bathroom which was ineffective & no hand towels were offered.

Amazing location particularly if you're a surfer as Balangan doesn't get too overcrowded. so good to check the waves from outside your room & then a short walk down to the surf. The staff were all so lovely and accomodating. The restaraunt served great food & yummy juice. They have bikes with surf racks & a lovely driver. Just perfect really, turn up with your gears & organise everything else there!

The bathroom set up was a bit awkward, the shower head was a bit hard to use without getting everything else saturated and the wifi wasn't very good so wouldn't recomend if you needed to be doing work on laptop or anything (luckily we didn't so it wasn't an issue for us).

A bit dated but fairly well maintained. Bathroom was clean but the room itself could have been cleaner. Dead insects & thick dust on window sills. Used tissues behind cabinet. Only got 2 small bottles of water on first day then no more. No option to include breakfast with booking & no breakfast package on the menu so it gets quite expensive if you want food, coffee, juice & fruit. Best to go across the road for breakfast.

lovely pool with a view over the grass towards the ocean. Friendly staff who were kind or accommodating. 5 mins walk down to the local beach. Stayed at Lumbung bungalow - toilets are outside, and it includes and upstairs ( twin) and downstairs room ( double). It has aircon and is next to the pool. Food is well priced and tasty.

aircon in first bungalow didn't work, so we were moved to next bungalow. beach is very polluted and not good to swim at.

The staff are wonderful, very helpful and kind. The location exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be a little walk to the beach I didnt realise the bungalows were at the top of the cliff and a very easy quick walk down to the beach, so close. My flight home was leaving late in the evening.... the staff looked after my luggage in the back office for the day, gave me a towel to use by the pool, I booked a massage in the afternoon and was able to use their outdoor shower to clean up before my flight. Could not be more grateful for the experience.

The pool is a little small. I like to swim laps. When I was there, there were a lots of kids so you couldnt really relax in or by the pool. That said the kids that were there were generally great, polite and having kid fun. Not a negative, plenty of other places to relax in the sun.
