Not walking distance to main Uluwatu areas. Have to get grab or bike to get to the main street with restaurants cafes etc on. But if you’re looking for peace and quiet and you don’t mind a scenic 15 min journey to get out then this is the place for you

The property was immaculate, the pool and grounds were always clean and we loved how the rooms were around the pool. The staff were amazing, so friendly and so helpful and a lovely family. We were able to rent a scooter at a good price and the location was perfect. An easy drive to busier areas, yet nice restaurants around and supermarket just around the corner!

This is the third time I have stayed at Hill Dance in the past two months and have been consistently coming back here over the past two years! Shanti and Madee are amazing hosts, very friendly, very helpful and always smiling and happy! The rooms are kept very clean and tidy, as well as the property and the pool. It is a nice quiet place to relax while being close to lovely restaurants, a supermarket and only 5 minutes drive to Balangan beach. If you book into a family suite then you will have a delicious breakfast cooked for you daily by Shanti and there are plenty of options! I will be coming back here again and again every time I am in Bali. Check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Sunti and Made are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make a stay here relaxing and stress free. Sunti provides a simple and lovely breakfast with both Western and Indonesian options available. Within 100 meters is a well stocked mini mart with 2 atm machines and a money changer. Next to that are 2 small warungs serving both indo and western dishes, and also a small massage/beauty parlour, with 3 very good masseuse. I have had treatments at some of the more expensive resorts around Bali, these ladies were equally as good as any of them, better than many. The other direction approx 100 metres is a newish Cafe called Delmora, the food here is stunning. All in all a perfect location with a 5 minute scooter ride to Balangan Beach, but still relatively quiet, unlike the madness of Bingin,Padang,ULUWATU. Hilldance hotel is a small well presented option in this area, no problems here with security as Made and Sunti stay on-site overnight, a real laid and relaxed feel made for a perfect trip for me. Will be back again.

Apartment was really clean. Bed was really big and comfortable with good AC. There is a pool in front of apartment with nice sunbeds. Owners helped us with laundry which was really nice as we did not have much time to go around and leave it somewhere and than pick it up. Laundy was cheap and delivered to the room withing 24 hours. Breakfast options were also really good. We had a lovely stay.

Toilet was not the best as you need to get out of the room to the outside area so especially if you are sleeping and you need to go to toilet in the middle of the night it is not so convenient as you need to fully wake up and be aware of surroundings. Also it had open bars so every animal can go inside which we did not like. We had early flight so we did not have breakfast which we paid for since there is no option for breakfast box or anything similar. At least if you make a box with some fruits and chocolate bar it would make a big difference for people who are leaving earlier and cant have breakfast. Also grab for airport is 110 000, while owners asked 250 000 which is really crazy difference. But even thought it had some downsides we had a nice stay and would recommend this place.

The pool area is perfect! The resort is quiet and peaceful. It’s super close to the beach, restaurants, and the supermarket! the resort itself is tucked away from all the commotion in the city which is great because it’s easy to sleep at night and feel relaxed during the day, but it’s easy to get around and there’s lots of activities within walking distance or a short bike ride. The staff is amazing and so kind! The bed in the room was very comfortable!! We stayed in the family room, having a full sized fridge, cooking supplies, large water filter and a burner came in handy for when we wanted to cook. The Breakfast provided to us was also great! we saw that there were a couple of bad reviews and we honestly have no idea where they came from!! we absolutely love it here so we are actually extending and we are going to stay for another five nights!! I highly recommend this place and we would come back again..

The only thing that could be improved is the wifi. I think it might only be our room because it worked perfectly fine on the terrace and everywhere else. Our computers were able to reach the Wi-Fi so it was just our cell phones that we had difficulty with. Which wasn’t a huge problem. Everything else is absolutely amazing here.

It was in quite area, near Uluwatu. Gives you feeling that you are in peace and away from crowds, but easily reachable everything. Balangan beach 4min away, for morning sunrise. Local massage -best in Bali across the corner.

People-very nice and honest people, who will take care about you! Clean, good breakfast. And very good for value on money. Stayed there 2weeks as a solo traveler. Very happy and grateful for a chance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dance Hill, and it was a truly delightful experience. Shanti was absolutely AMAZING, always attentive and ready to assist with any needs. From the moment I arrived, Shanti went above and beyond to provide professional and prompt service, making my stay exceptionally pleasant. The level of service offered is fantastic, far exceeding expectations for the price. The breakfast included is quite good, offering a sufficient and satisfying start to the day. One area that could use improvement is the WiFi, which was rather weak in my room. However, this minor issue did not detract from the overall positive experience. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Dance Hill. Once the WiFi is improved, I would be thrilled to return.

We had a lovely stay at Hill Dance Bali American Hotel, thanks to the great staff who were incredibly friendly and the delicious breakfast. The large rooms were comfortable, with cozy beds and pillows. The location was ideal, just a 15-minute walk to Balangan Beach, and there were plenty of Warungs nearby for lunch and dinner.

The outside bathroom was a bit inconvenient, though that seems common in Bali. Additionally, the atmosphere felt more like a homestay, with the family and children joining us for breakfast and at the pool, which might not suit everyone

We enjoyed our stay in Hill Dance. The location is very convenient and short drive to restaurants and beaches. The staff were all very kind and made us very good breakfast. We also appreciated that we could rent a scooter at the spot. 4G mobile reception even if you are not on wifi. Wifi is fast.

I needed to work in the evenings but it was usually quite busy outside the room at the pool with kids playing loud. It is not at all an issue for people coming for a vacation (families will definitely like this) , but those who need quiet living space for work, it might be a bit bothering. I dont reflect this in the rating but wanted to mention if someone has similar daily routine.
