Willy homestay is a great place for those who want some peace and quiet. The rooms are cleaned every day - bed linen and towels are changed and everything you need is provided. The pool is very clean and well maintained. The staff was really friendly. The internet was good - which meant a lot to us because we worked from home. Breakfast is served every morning and is very tasty. AC was very good and strong&bed was really comfy. Miko and Molly (two dogs) are the best!

Although we really don't have much to complain about, the owner didn't contact us once during the 12 days - we got an answer to everything we asked, but that's basically it. We expected a little more interest in the guests since it was our first stay on Bali (advice for the laundry, food delivery or bike rental). Breakfast portions are small (maybe we're used to a little bigger) The chairs on the porch are very nice but uncomfortable (mats would be great!) Also, the water pressure in the shower is a bit weak. It wouldn't be bad if the shared kitchen was a little better equipped with pots and cooking utensils. The location is remote and you absolutely need a motorbike to get to the nearest market.

Really loved the stay because it is very peaceful area outside of the town. As others mentioned you need a scooter to get around which was no problem at all since the owner can help with getting the bike or you have many options in the nearby village. The room was quite spacious with huge bathroom. The breakfast is quite tasty and everyone is very friendly. The room was cleaned daily and was top notch and the garden is really beautiful, you feel more in the nature there.

The road by the accommodation is sometimes quite busy and can get little bit noisy, so better to get a room further away from the road if you are a light sleeper. Also there was a construction next door when I was staying and sometimes it would get little bit loud but only during the day, they didnt do noise in the morning or in the evening.

We stayed just for 2 nights but it was really nice. The homestay is in a very quiet area and the staff is super kind. Breakfast was tasty and they provided a scooter rental as well. They were available as taxi service to get to the homestay and to go to the airport at a really good price and always on time.

We didn’t use the pool but it didn’t look super clean. In those days there were some storms with heavy rain so that could be the reason.

A small and simple hotel. The room was rather basic, but it was clean and had everything needed. We had a nice porch where you could sit and relax, in addition there is a nice swimming pool in the backyard. The host is super friendly and helpful. You can rent a scooter directly at the property. A simple, but tasty breakfast is included. Excellent value!

For the price paid, nothing to complain! It takes approximately 30 min in a scooter to reach most beaches and there is not much around, so you will need a scooter or to use grab.

The family that runs the place is wonderful. They are very kind, smiling, and helpful. I lost my key on day two and felt bad, but the owner was very calm and brought a spare key. The next day, I got him a new one. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the gorgeous and quiet Balangan beach, where there’s also great food. I would for sure go back.

I wish there had been something to hang the towels on in the bathroom. The area is a little remote, so you’d benefit from having a scooter for longer stays.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay here. We actually enjoyed the location (for some it may seem far). You will need a motorbike to travel (90k a day through the property, good price). Some highlights: free water, kitchen area if you want to make your food or store things in the fridge. Large rooms and quiet at night time. If you want to be further away from the road, book the pool rooms. We are sensitive to noise/sounds and the other rooms were still fine. The staff are nice and the rooms get cleaned every day. Very good and reliable wifi.

The toilets are super smelly so make sure to always keep the door closed (we even locked it from the room so that the draft doesn't open it during the day). The AC in our room was super weak. We would also suggest adding a small night lamp.

Very nice Homestay with very friendly and kind owners. We had a very comfortable room with an outlook of the pool. The garden is really nice well maintained and green. You can rent bike at the property for a very good price. You will need a bike, things are quite spread out. Breakfast is tasty (we were eating pancakes). Overall good place to rest.

This is out of hands of the owners, but nearby is a bit of construction going on and the road sometimes is a bit noisy. But both do not disturb too much.

Honestly, one of the best places Ive ever stayed at! So so helpful, they give you tips on things to do (that not many people know about!), the room is super clean and prepared & most importantly, the hosts are the nicest people you’ll meet in japan! They also run a cafe downstairs and their breakfast is 10/10! It was my friends birthday & they knew and made her a cake, sung happy birthday & all of it on their own as a surprise. I will always be grateful! You can enjoy all the activities like meditation, morning & fire ceremony etc in temples during the day. No need to stay in a temple for 10x the price!

Loved our stay at willy homestay. We stayed for a week and were sad to leave! So incredibly clean, room basic but just everything you need. Breakfast everyday was amazing, The fresh pineapple spread wad my favorite! Rooms cleaned everyday, kind friendly owners, pretty quiet street as well. A little motorbike ride to anywhere, but that didn't bother us. Definitely recommend if your looking for a cheaper and quieter place close to uluwatu!

Very comfortable, quiet location with good access to the beaches as well as shops and restaurants (although scooter or other means of transportation will be needed) The hosts were amazing and always available to help. They were kind enough to turn on the AC before we arrived, maintained the room daily and also helped rent us scooters at a very fair price. The wifi was good - which allowed me to work remotely for a few days. Overall, it's great value and would definitely stay here again.
