The property was beautiful. Staff were amazing and so caring. Breakfast was the best.

The location wasn’t great as there was no where to walk to from the property. It was hard to know where to go by car/taxi.

A wonderful stay in a resort that perfectly combines luxury with a sense of authenticity. The setting is stunning, and everything is designed to make you feel both pampered and at home. Our room was spacious, with a lovely terrace perfect for enjoying a quiet meal “at home” if we didn’t feel like going to the main restaurant. And the comfort was exceptional! A private pool just for us, in addition to the resort’s three beautiful pools, a fully equipped bathroom, and impeccable attention to detail. Everything was clean, welcoming, and beautifully arranged. The service was flawless, housekeeping at a time that suited us, and a friendly, attentive staff. The resort’s single restaurant offers such a varied menu that a second venue wouldn’t even be necessary. I also enjoyed spa treatments where I was truly pampered, all at a very reasonable price. A place where you feel relaxed, cared for, and surrounded by thoughtful touches. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and peace of mind.

Lovely pool villa - comfortable bed - great shower- food at restaurant was very good - staff was excellent. You are a little out of the way - there is a great little restaurant 50m down the drive and a supermarket and another couple of restaurants in the vicinity- 15min walk max. They do have a shuttle to supermarket and Balangan beach which is a great spot lots of local bars and a couple of good restaurants - Easy enough to pick up a Grab or hire a bike but be aware the roads are very average with lots of potholes some the size of a bathtub.

The customer service was simply exceptional. Whilst it is remote, I loved the quietness that came with the location. I read a few average reviews before I came, which left me a bit worried. So this is why I have taken time to write this review. For other folks who were expecitng a 5 star hotel, Im unsure why you had these expectations. We ate out a few times at the Alila. Thats a 5 star hotel and cost almost 6 times the price of the Cross Breakers. For those reviewers who had unrealistic expectations for the price they paid, I can see how this would not be the place for you. But we loved it. The staff were simply wonderful (better than staff from our day at the Four Seasons). The resort was exceptionally clean. We stayed here for close to 14 days and had no desire to leave. Its a santcuary. And look it wont be long until the resorts needs a lick of paint and upgrade, but I understand that after close to three years of no revenue the business needs to trade before taking on these renovations. And Ill also point out that coat of paint on a wall doesnt really affect us for a short period of time. So please go and enjoy the wonderful hospitality of this place.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean throughout. Our room was spacious and so relaxing. The staff are so so attentive and genuinely lovely. I’ve never met nicer people who are happy to go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. Nandi was our host and she was exceptional. The breakfast is delicious! The lattes were my favourite. Everything about our stay was brilliant and I don’t think another hotel will ever compare.

The location is a bit far from the main uluwatu town and beaches. We just hopped on grab bikes when we wanted to explore for 15-30 minutes depending where we wanted to go. Every trip was less than £2!

The site itself is stunning, gorgeous architecture, interior and immaculate gardens. We had a 1 bed pool villa with its own front door and little garden area, it was so beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel arranged an airport pick up for us, our driver Wayan Artha was brilliant!! He became our driver for the rest of our trip, taking us to Ubud and then taking us back to the end of our trip. The car was immaculate and he always found the speediest route to avoid the traffic! He told us so many interesting things about the country, history and way of life. Thank you Wayan Artha! The food and drinks at the hotel was really lovely too, the breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Juli was a brilliant waitress greeting us every time we ate at the restaurant. We took the shuttle to Balangan Beach everyday which was super easy to organise and the beach was one of our favourites on the peninsula as my husband got to surf a lot!! We stayed at 4 hotels in Bali and Nusa Lembongan over our 2 week trip, this was our favourite and we only wish we had stayed for longer!

The property was absolutely gorgeous very spacious and lots of amenities available for us. The room was beautiful lots of space and very private which was very much appreciated. The staff were very helpful and were able to escort us down to our room via golf buggies which was great with our luggage. They helped us organise things. We got to check in early and it was all around an amazing experience. They also set up a really cute little display for anniversary in our room which was super cute and a nice little touch that will forever make me remember this place!

We were grandparents plus family of 4 with two children under 5 in a 2 bed pool villa. We asked for a cot and there it was.. all ready to go. From reception on arrival to the size and cleanliness of the villa this place is a find. It was fab. The children woke early and played in the plunge pool. Breakfast started at 7 and was absolutely excellent.. especially staff. All in all a brilliant stay. We had supper in the evening and the food was great, prompt and delicious. Drinks delivered quickly and everything with a big smile. We will be back of course when we next visit Bali as only 35-40 mins to airport.

The signage to actually getting to the hotel was not great!! Please put up some more physical directions.. this was our only issue.

This hotel is located a bit further from the road and that makes it a very serene place to stay. There is a lot of green around it and a beautiful view from the lobby and swimming pools. The villa is equiped with everything that you need and more (like a private pool). The food at the restaurant is good. There are 3 swimming pools and a small rooftop bar (next to the lobby). They decorated our villa for us and surprised us with a cake for our honeymoon. It was so thoughtfull. The staff is very friendly and happy to help you with anything. When we stayed here there were three nights with an all you can eat buffet. There was seafood, Thai and a BBQ. Everyone of those nights had live music. The breakfast is very divers and offers a range of food. The menu for the restaurant is divers and offers a range of different food. We would come back here again.

The location is quite far from a lot of things. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the nearby supermarket (approx. 800 meters) and the beach. Kuta is approx 40 minutes away by car. So if you want to have a very active holiday with lots of sightseeing, you might be better of somewhere closer to Kuta for example.

Beautiful villas and very lovely staff. The pools in the villa and as part of the main resort were lovely. Staff were wonderful, always at hand to help if required, and were also easily accessible via whatsapp which was great! It was also great having a free shuttle down to Balangan beach! We also had a lovely meditation session during our stay!

The hotel's location wasn't the best with few restaurants/shops around, you need a taxi/motorbike to get to the restaurants/shops of Bingin. It would be great if there was a water fountain in the main pool area so that guests could self serve on water and not have to order water from the bar and/or buy bottled water, which as you would imagine can add up in terms of cost over a week or so. The gym could be improved and did not meet expectations for this type of hotel, it is a small outside gym without cardio machines and I'd say that it misses a fair bit of standard gym equipment.
