This place was a last minute decision while leaving Seminyak for the day & going to Uluwatu temple & Fire Dance show.We thought maybe we should stay in Uluwatu for the night. Wow! So glad we did. We ended up booking for another night (luckily available online). The food was great,we arrived at about 9pm reception is 24/7. We were tired,hot & hungry after being at the busy temple. The restaurant is available 24/7 room service is an added $6 AU. Which was fine. So clean & neat looking. The staff are all so polite & happy. Close to Uluwatu Beach also. Highly recommend this resort.

No handwash in the basin,bath water wasn't hot at all and took 30 mins to fill the tub so nearly cold by the time you get in. No Netflix or Youtube on the t.v,there was no point having them in the room. Can't really complain of much, though. It is a beautiful resort.

The hotel was lovely, we absolutely loved our spacious room and the facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s in a good location if you’re happy to hire a scooter or use GoJek to get around, which worked perfectly for us. For the price, it was amazing value. We also enjoyed the food, breakfast and lunch were both good.

We only received two bottles of water per day, which wasn’t quite enough for drinking and brushing our teeth. It would be great if they provided more. Also, when we arrived early at around 10 a.m., our bags were held which we appreciated, but our room wasn’t ready until exactly 3 p.m. We returned to the hotel at 2:45 p.m. hoping to check in a little early, but were told the room still wouldn’t be ready until the official check-in time. It would be nice if there was a system to prioritise cleaning rooms for guests who arrive early. Lastly, the hotel ran out of scooters, so we had to find one elsewhere. Not a big issue for us, but if you plan on hiring a scooter through the hotel, I recommend booking ahead so they can hold one for you.

1st the location: you are right on the golf course. 2nd: the calmness and all the flora and fauna. 3rd:I loved the cleanliness of the complex. 4th: The food is good. 5th: Nice pools, attractive events, staff is helpfull. 6th: no gecko or lizard in room. 7th: the shower and bath tub gives you a choice. 8th: Internet is totally good! 9th: super comfy beds and matresses. 10: no stains on the curtains. 11: Nice lighting scheme.

The minibar is empty. Maybe stack it up with stuff and some welcome bowl of fruits on a daily basis would be nice. Maybe a smart TV would be nice since I saw that some rooma have, others don't. But, honestly it is better with no TV at all since all other things you can do.

For those travelling to Uluwatu for the first time, the concept of these large hotels within gated “communities of hotel chains” must be new … basically le grand is one of 5 hotels in a gated community with a golf course …. Just like when you visit nusa Dua beach it’s in another gated place with multiple other high end hotel chains there !

I think everything was great , the room the view the toiletries and the pools …breakfast was great ! The only thing that threw us off a bit was that it’s an entirely no smoking property which meant a really long walk to “smoking area” for the hubby 🤷🏽‍♀️😐

The staff were always very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our room was on the ground level which gave us access to one of the shared pools which served us well in comparison to using the main hotel pool. The buffet breakfast included in our stay was a great option to choose with plenty of variety available up until 11am. We also had a free 15min reflexology foot massage included, which was a real treat to book in and use at the end of our stay. There is also a free hotel shuttle service that goes down to Dreamland beach each day and is so worth the visit.

The resort was amazing! The scenery was stunning , facilities were great. The place was lovely and clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you they made you feel very welcome. The food was also amazing ; including the breakfast which had a really good variety with different items each morning . The location was perfect, away from the busy streets of Uluwatu as it is situated in a gated complex of a few hotels , but is still very accessible to all of the nice beaches and restaurants near by only a short taxi ride or you can hire a moped to explore the area ! Just be careful on the main roads as they are very dangerous, wouldn’t recommend riding if you are not experienced and competent on a bike .

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Le Grande Bali in Uluwatu. Traveling with our 2-year-old son, we found the suite to be incredibly spacious with more than enough storage—ideal for a young family. The value for money here was outstanding. Location-wise, it was super convenient. All the great cafes and restaurants around Uluwatu were easily reachable by scooter or a quick taxi ride. The hotel also offered ample parking for both cars and scooters, which made things even easier. One evening, our little one fell ill and unfortunately got sick on the bedding. Within just 10 minutes of calling, housekeeping had replaced everything without fuss—such a relief and a testament to their incredible service. Every staff member we came across was friendly, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The room service menu was another big win, especially when dealing with toddler mealtimes. It was extensive, with plenty of options that made staying in just as enjoyable as going out. The hotel has two family-friendly pools, and we never had to fight for a sunbed or beanbag—which is rare! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, convenience, and great service in Uluwatu.

The only downside was the gym. For a hotel of this size, it was small and not particularly well-equipped, which was a bit disappointing.

Amazing hotel with such a large, beautiful grounds - great for a baby to explore too. I am staying here with my little one and we ended up extending our stay cause it’s great. We have a suite which is so perfect a busy toddler - even room for hide and seek. Staff have been super helpful letting me stay in same room after just booking a couple nights in advance. Sure some areas in the hotel are a bit dated but nothing that impacted the practicality and enjoyment for us. Awesome breakfast

The pool area could be updated and more certainty around whether a cot would be available to avoid wasting money hiring one

The property is quite beautiful. It's surrounded by golf estates and places in Uluwatu are nearby. Their rooms were comfy and big and had great views. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had so many options. They also have a free shuttle service to dreamland beach which is quite convenient plus they have a scooter rental on property. The staff was very welcoming and kind. All over we had an amazing stay.

The water bottle refill was roo expensive. I have stayed in other premium properties in Bali and they either provide free water refills or at least refill of water twice a day. With no shops nearby one has to keep buying from them as 500ml is not sufficient for a person in Bali weather. The property is a little old so there are signs of that. And there is a need to upgrade the TVs to newer versions. They are outdated.

Generally clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The property was modern and comfortable, good entertainment amenities. The room had both a shower and bath.

Better noise proofing needed as the connecting room neighbour can be heard. A water dispenser for refills would be useful, the property is away from general stores but delivery via grab/Gojek is possible if not when you’re out. Having more vegan options at breakfast ie: alternative milk products for cereal and coffee; rice/noodles without egg/chicken etc however when requested the kitchen staff accommodated those.
