The location was a close walk to all shopping and eating areas. I lived at the hotel 3-4 weeks and felt safe at all times. There was always security day ad night and I appreciate they made me feel at home. Rafael and Mr were lovely and my requests were always met cheerfully and not a bother. Both are hard-working and they could often be seen maintaining the hotel. There was also one other who did one off heavy work. Staff were very kind and helpful. I was put into another room after an especially heavy rainfall loosened roof tiles in the bathroom. It was also a lovely room with a beautiful view.

For the owner. The S bend pipe in the bathroom washbasin needs to be cleaned. This is a job for a plumber. It was slow emptying and will soon stop draining.

The price was very fair. Wi-Fi worked well, fridge in the room was helpful, AC was reliable.

No compliants at all. I read quite a few negatives when I booked and was a bit worried, it turns out that I suspect most of those complaints were from entitled people who dont understand the world.

All of the staff/ owners were so helpful and friendly. They made you feel at home so much that I extended for another night.The accommodation was good, clean,soap provided, toilet roll, a kettle, fridge, and tv. It's not a bad location, everything within walking distance. Good value. I would recommend it.

The only downsides were that the bed was a little uncomfortable for me. One side of the mattress is more worn than the other. The towel, especially, needed a boil wash and the bedding, including the pillows.

Mr Wayan, the owner, really took good care of us. I drove car all the way from Jakarta to Bali, and he make sure that my car safe (while I'm away to Bajo for 3 days). Although it's not private parking space (we have to paid 25k per night) but it's worthed. And the room is so comfortable, it has tv, ac. And the location is really near the airport, walkable to kuta, legian, seminyak. And Mr Wayan can help with anything that you need (for example private driver)

The staff at the homestay were so friendly and welcoming! The room itself was clean and comfortable. I was travelling alone and visiting for a week so it was perfect for me. The location was perfect - only a ten minute walk from the beach and there were plenty of shops, coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

My stay was perfect. I would definitely consider staying here if I visit Bali again.

We enjoyed so much during our long stay in Pondok Taksu. Location is excellent, easy to find anything we need. Big, beautiful and clean room. The bed is also so comfortable. Pak Wayan and Rafael were very helpful. We weren't charged for very late check out. They also lent us bicycle to go to the beach during our stay. We gonna miss this place and their dog Snowy! 🥰🐕

Very clean. Hot water and good water pressure. Bathroom didn't have that sewage smell like some places in bali. Strong and cold aircon. Good location close to barber, beach, restaurants, markets laundry etc. Staff was kind and quiet.

There's some street dogs that frequent the property and the alley near the property. Everything else was great.

The location was perfect - quiet at night, lots of food places 2/3 minutes walking, around 30 minutes walking to the beach, 15 minutes walking to the club/pub street. Room was big, bed was comfy, hot water in the shower and very good air conditioning, beautiful internal design, very very good price. I will go back next time when I will be in Kuta.

There are two things worth to mention: wifi-connection was not good if you plan to work (I was using sim card so it was ok) and room was not very clean. The bathroom was clean tho. General the whole hotel looked like no-one was cleaning it very often. We had some doubts if the bed sheets were clean too... For us (for this price) was a not big deal and we would book this place again BUT maybe if someone is extremally pedantic - that may be a thing.

Te place is very calm and peaceful for the area, yet close to many things! The staff are lovely and happy to give ideas of places to visit, and as a female solo traveler I always felt safe.

The room is a bit towards the basic side, with clean towels and linen although a few stains, and general dust here and there. No toilet paper, so if you are from a Western country make sure to have some tissues with you unless you are happy with the bidet!

Very cosy and well appointed small rooms. Facilities excellent as were the staff , very comfortable and relaxing. Wifi excellent & TV great reception.

A little out of the way but this could be seen as a plus for many folk. Actually it was in the heart of a lovely part of Kuta.
