Review: The One Legian Hotel The One Legian is a large, modern hotel in the heart of Legian, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The design is contemporary, and the air conditioning works excellently—a blessing in Bali’s heat. This hotel is aimed at the younger crowd. There are two pools: one on the rooftop and one at ground level. While the rooftop pool is a highlight, the lack of a pool bar and any bar service at the ground pool is a minor drawback. Noise can be an issue in some rooms, particularly at the front of the hotel or near the lifts (e.g., room 369). However, the staff were accommodating and promptly moved me to a quieter room upon request. Overall, the hotel’s location is fantastic, right in the middle of Legian, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. A great option if you value location and budget, though light sleepers might want to request a quieter room from the start.

Pool location was very cool, and we did swim. Hotel location was great, in the heart of shopping land.

The gym was too small, one machine didn't even work. The first breakfast was OK, but the second day, there was SO many people, there wasn't enough seating and a lot of the food was empty.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Air-conditioned rooms. There was a variety of dishes. Loved the fresh fruits and tasty omelletes that were served. Lots of teas, coffees and fresh fruit juices. Very affordable 4 Star. An important point to note is that I lost my dad In November, one day before we could leave for Bali and the hotel still accomdated us on a later date at no extra cost. Thank you for that🙏

Wish they took more care in cleaning the bathrooms in detail. Towels should be smelling nice.

The staff are awesome, friendly, helpful and cater to your needs. The rooms are clean and the beds are large and comfortable. The pools are good, plenty of lounge chairs and bar/restaurant facilities a few feet away. Breakfast is good. Location is perfect and very convenient, right in the middle of the bustling district, shopping, beauty, tattoo shops, Bars, restaurants, convenience stores, laundry services right outside the property.

Rooms are small and gloomy. We upgraded to pool access, rooms are bigger and lots of natural sunlight.

Excellent location in the heart of everything so you don't need transport to go out. Mini marts up the road, restaurants galore, massage parlour across the road. The beach is a short walk. Very handy! The staff are really helpful, the location is easy for gojek (uber style) drivers to find you and drop off, they have a wide drop off area for activities transfers and collections. You can wait upstairs on a couch and look down for your transfer. If you can't be bothered going out for food the bar and restaurant is on site, Starbucks is downstairs & room service is available. There is two pools and the gym on site with a bar up on the rooftop one also with cabanas and pool loungers everywhere plus towels available for your use up there. The staff are so lovely, nothing is too much trouble, they do a great job and always have a smile and a helping hand 🙏 Breakfast on the roof was changing everyday so we got to experience many different dishes and enjoy the fresh fruit. The staff were always so efficient at refilling the stations that nothing was empty for long. We didn't notice the omelette station at the far side until the end of day one so be sure to hit that first when you head up as it is always very popular. The room itself was spacious, they had complimentary water daily which was appreciated coming into a warmer climate, the complimentary toiletries including the toothbrush with toothpaste was a cute touch. The bed was huge, it is firm which I liked but my other half did not.

Our room had a full length window that looked straight out in the hall which was a laugh so we had to keep our blinds closed the whole time. The bathroom has a glass wall with a patchy roman blind so you can see in there whenever someone's on the toilet which cracked us up so if you don't know each other well this is not a good option. The rooms smell mouldy even our other family members that stayed and had windows that could open. It's probably the old AC systems. Not a fan of the restaurant in house, the drinks were good, food we didn't even eat and sent back. Overall for the price and amount of time we were there vs out adventuring it was definitely worth it.

This was my first stay at the hotel, and I had a great experience from the start. The driver who picked me up for the airport transfer was very friendly and made me feel welcomed right away. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the front staff, particularly Yosua, who was kind and very helpful throughout my stay. The warm farewell I received from the hotel manager, David, as I left added a nice personal touch that made my visit memorable. The room I stayed in was clean and equipped with all the amenities I needed. I appreciated the good breakfast that was offered each morning; it was just right for my tastes. One of the highlights of my stay was the affordable spa treatment, which provided a perfect way to relax. Overall, the staff's commitment to excellent service made my experience truly enjoyable, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had two bookings for different days, and both were with connected rooms for 3 people. They gave us separate room in the first booking. We didn't complain. But, in the second booking a few days later, they gave us our right room and it was better than the separate rooms. They event put more toilet stuff (like razors and shower cap) in the connected room. In the second booking, the bathroom still had waste on the toilet, we called to the counter and they came to the lobby. The nearby beach is dirty

It is a no frills place in the heart of Legian, very busy, which we used as the base for our vacation to go to and from, arranging everything from here made our vacation easy to plan at breakfast time, we could leave our scooter and staff and security made it very easy!

I had many thoughts on arrival as it is very basic and worn, however the staff work hard to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and it was a great base to start at breakfast and end with a drink at The Deck restaurant, so nothing to complain about.

The staff were exceptional! The hotel has a fantastic connection to a bar and restaurant, plus a rooftop bar that offers stunning views. The location couldn't be better, with massage spots conveniently located across the street and a Starbucks right downstairs. Highly recommend!

The bathroom in the superior room was a bit on the small side. Additionally, there weren’t enough signs to guide guests to the breakfast buffet. I also noticed that the pavement at the bottom of the stairs could use some improvement, as it doesn’t feel very safe with cars driving by. More safety measures would definitely enhance the experience

I was pleasantly surprised by the reception staff, who were very young and spoke English fluently. Their proficiency made my stay much more enjoyable, as communication was seamless. I especially want to thank Yosua and Gung Adit for their assistance during my time there. They were both friendly and helpful, ensuring that all my needs were met. Overall, their professionalism and skills contributed greatly to a positive experience at the hotel. I sincerely thank Leo for providing transportation to the airport
