The grounds, the pool with swim up bar, and loads of loungers, umbrellas etc. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. A great place to stay while you're doing your shopping etc in Legian. The entrance is right on the main strip, between the ice bar, and another fun little place called Foodies story, but once you walk past the reception building, you are in a quiet tropical paradise. They can take care of everything, laundry, massage, safe deposit boxes, whatever you need, it's here, and very reasonably priced.

Nothing to dislike, if we stayed again, which we will, we would get a ground floor unit, as the stairs are quite steep.

Overall my stay was very enjoyable. I did originally pay for one of the cheaper rooms. I recommend do not do this they are very small with no fridge. The manager allowed me to upgrade though for only $10 a day Australian dollars and my next room was fantastic. Very large and pleasant views. The staff and Pool were both excellent. The location is fantastic and you can walk everywhere.

There are no safes in the rooms but can use at reception. The food was ok but not great however you are a small walk from great food everywhere. I was a bit upset at the end they were going to charge me for a card you get when you get a towel for the pool. I knew I had left this at the Poll restaurant area and they said I took a dish and spoon but room service took it. This was sorted out but I spent a lot of money on hotel drinks and some food and the fact they were even querying me about a dish, spoon and card was a little upsetting.

The beds were comfortable and clean, location close to everything, shopping, restaurants, and the beach (1km walk) but we loved being able to walk everywhere. The breakfast was delicious, try the dragon fruit smoothie! The gardens and grounds were spacious and well maintained, great space to walk and play with the children and excellent sized pool.

Staff walking into our room at night, need to knock first if they had the worng room. Also walked in on me whenI was on the toilet during check out. Again, need to learn to knock!

refurbished room was a welcome change. the changes that were made were excellent. Pool was clean, poolbar staff friendly and mostly always on the ball. pool view room is best location for couples, nice n quiet, great view of the grounds. included breakfast was top notch.

dinner could have been better. way over done hamburger paties ruined the burger, well and truly over-cooked chicken in a Ceasar salad, made both dishes almost inedible. was a shame because breakfast was excellent.

We had a room in the new building in a garden view room for 11 days, then upgraded to a suite which was amazing! The staff where always so friendly and helpful, and the rooms very clean. Location was perfect to walk everywhere. The property grounds were beautifully maintained and traditional.

Overall we were very happy with everything to be honest, but if I had to say something it would be that the breakfast menu got a bit same same after awhile. Saying that, there are plenty of restaurants and warungs outside the hotel to choose from :)

The outstanding service from all the staff from the security with a friendly smile to the pool and room staff, nothing was too much trouble. To the point where they changed our room to ground floor, as my friend had difficulty with the stairs. Fantastic all round. Beautiful setting, lots of space, but close to everything you needed.

If i had to say one thing, it would be the shower. Great pressure & hot but the whole floor gets wet afterwards.

Love everything about the hotel. Location is central so easy to get anywhere you want to go. Rooms are clean and have all the facilities you need. The grounds are clean and well kept and are lovely to look at from our room. The pool is terrific best I have seen in a hotel, caters to all age groups. The staff are the thing that makes this hotel shine, they are friendly and are very good with guests. Nothing is to much trouble for them and it shows how much they love what they do. Can't recommend high enough.

Right in the heart. Yet so quiet, as property goes back off Jalan Legian a long way & the rooms are protected from noise. Great sleeps. Lovely grounds, huge pool. Good breakfast choices. Foodies Bar is out at street front. Excellent food, they have a guitarist playing in evenings. When you want to stay truly close to home, go to Foodies & walk next door to your hotel. Close to Bali Memorial, Poppies Lane.

Nothing I did not like.

The property is hidden away from the main street. So we heard nothing from the main street which was noisey when you were on it. You don’t expect it from the front, but it is absolutely beautiful once you are inside the property. The layout is nicely done so you don’t feel like you are on top of everyone and crammed in. We got an upgraded room to a suite which was absolutely beautiful. If I go here again I would spend the money to get this room. The rain shower and huge bath was amazing in the bathroom. Lots of storage space in the room. There are lots of plugs in the room and usb ports in the wall on each side of the beds. The pool wasn’t as big as I thought based on the pictures, but it was a lovely setting. Huge gardens although we didn’t get much into the gardens itself. Room was huge and spacious. The views over the pool from the restaurant and bar is beautiful and peaceful. The spa is just by the pool and you can hear the fountains from inside the spa. The breakfast options were good. The staff were amazing as usual and went out of their way to accommodate.

The bed was way too hard. The menu is not very big on options and would have liked to see a lot more options on the drinks side especially cocktails since there is a swim up bar. The towels were horrendous. Had I known, I would have taken my own. The aircon dripped in our room which wasn’t too much of an issue except it was directly in the passageway so we had to put a towel down. I asked for a hairdryer for the last day and honestly could have used a hand held fan which would have been more effective. The shower screen needed to extend out as when you used the rain shower the floor got overly soaked.

Beautiful grounds and gardens. Pool big enough and gets good sunlight during the day. Enough pool chairs for guests. Super comfy bed. Reasonable massage and good price.

No hand towels. Not enough umbrellas despite there being enough stands for them. The pool chairs/recliners are very uncomfortable and unable to be adjusted. You can hear the ‘doof doof ‘ from the restaurant at the front.
