Nice location in the heart of Kuta. Typical small rooms, but with the possibility to sit in front outside. Very friendly and helpful staff. Come back here again and again since more than ten years, my favourite place to stay. Best value for money. Lots of restaurants around, ten minutes walking distance to the beach.

Sometimes it is a little bit noisy in the nights, because there is a crazy doglady in the neighbourhood and she allows her dogs to run around and bark. This is very bad when you have a lite sleep, but the hotel owner doesn't talk to her to keep her dogs inside her property. Same trouble all the years.

4 nights in September. Everything was absolutely perfect. I stayed 2 nights on arrival for transit and 2 nights before departure, as we're relatively close to the airport (about 30 minutes) and Kuta is truly atypical. A real haven of peace in the heart of the city, with a pretty courtyard, the room was comfortable with flat screen TV and air conditioning. The welcome is so friendly and smiling, you don't miss a thing. You're literally a 1-minute walk from all the shops, restaurants and tattoo parlors, 5 minutes from the large Beachwalk shopping mall and 10 minutes from the beach - check out Cookie's bar, which was my favorite. A few meters away there's a lovely massage center, Lucky Bali spa 7, which closes at 11pm, and a restaurant/hotel, Seahouse Bali indah beach inn, open from 7am for breakfast. I went back several times and loved the welcome, the professionalism and above all their kindness. Thank you so much for having me here. I'll be back with pleasure! Terima kasih :)

The location was great - surrounded by alleys of clothes shops and eateries in the centre of Kuta; only 8 minute's walk to Beachwalk shopping centre which also has a well-stocked supermarket Foodmart, and 13 minute's walk to the Kuta beach. Check-in was super quick. The staff at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful - the smiley young lad (sorry for not asking for your name!) kindly helped us carry our heavy cases to the first floor when we checked in and Fannie was outstanding - she was so knowledgeable about Bali, sharing all tips for our sightseeing, and very kindly offered me her mobile phone when my credit card was blocked and I could only contact my UK bank over the phone. The driver for hire, Nick, was also wonderful - he was reliable and took us around Bali at very reasonable prices; he also spoke sufficient English for daily conversations. I would strongly recommend him if you need to hire a driver. The family room was fairly big, with good WiFi and air conditioning. The big bathroom and 24-h hot water were great, too.

The fuse seems to be unreasonably small - on the last evening of our stay, the power was cut three times, which was due to some other guests using over-powered appliances according to the front desk, but how "over-powered" could it be for travellers? I guess it was by the most some travel kettles etc., so the old hotel really needs to be rewired. The lights didn't feel bright enough in our rooms, probably for the sake of the tiny fuse. The extractor fan in our bathroom wasn't working, leaving the room steamy and humid after our showers. The safe in the room was too small to fit even a 13-in laptop.

Staff very attentive and one of the lady at the reception before we leave are very nice and professional,what a great value for just a simple room bed comfortable ,shower strong water we really love,toilet paper provided in a big roll which not other hotel do that they should learn from this hotel,great location 5-10 mins walk to beachwalk mall, also the ocean ,surrounding by restaurant ,cafes ,Marts,CK as soon u came out of the hotel very recommended !

The hotel needs a pest control schedule as we find lil cockroaches inside bathrooms but they not many once they done general cleaning and pest control all sort out

It’s really good price-quality ratio. Lobby guys were very kind, they helped us with all issues. The hotel is located in the Kuta Center, near the beach (10 mins) and shopping mall. Rooms are clear, no any smells, but a bit old. In each floor there is a water cooler👍🏻

It was very noisy due to split system outdoor units.

The location was excellent. Near bars and restaurants and only 10 mins short walk to the beach. Staff were excellent ,friendly and helpful with everything. We did not have a room fridge but there was a shared fridge at reception. Good shower and bedding although the room needs some TLC Good restaurants nearby - Kori - Quality and scenic bar at sensible prices - Left into Poppies ll and 30 mtrs on left. Also local and Western food at very ,very good prices - Warung Pama - Poppies ll , left then 1st right alleyway)

There was noise from some building work on other rooms. Rooms and bathroom decor need updating as it makes it look dirty when it is not ,but after Covid needs time. Beaches in Bali are still littered with rubbish. Plastic. Minimal effort made to tidy them. We were using Bali for travelling outside Thailand (which also has some rubbish issues) but an exotic holiday destination? Not at this time! Dwipa has several signs for other adjacent accommodation (horrendous!) - This is GARDEN CITY down the alleyway! (next to the Seahouse bar)

Great find, will definately stay again. Love they have a jug in the room. Also have a communal water dispenser. I only stayed for the afternoon/evening as I had a late flight. Close to airport and lots of restaurants.Great for last minute shopping.

How clean everything was. Specially since I almost literally ran away from the hotel I've originally booked. The staff was incredible. Changed my sheets everytime I asked. I stayed there for 6 nights. Super quiet. Super central, 5 min walk from the beach. One of the best value-price places I've been here.

Sometimes the wifi doesn't work that well. There was one night it stopped working all together. For me it was not a big issue because I was traveling in leasure, and their TV had a good HBO programming.

Great bed, very good shower, nice staff, and the room service is also very fast :) It's a great location to discover the area! You even get a discount in the spa right in front :)

The TV is not a smart TV and doesn't come with an HDMI cable, which makes it pretty useless. But I didn't use it anyway so no problem :)
