The location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay. Very gracious staff. Short walk to Beachfront Mall, restaurants and beach.

Not any fault of the staff, but the rowdy party of Aussies who took over one of the pools one afternoon making a total nuisance of themselves. Disgusting behavior. The staff were very gracious while this was happening and even cleared the area of beer bottles when they left.

I was really impressed with the value for money option that the Grand Barong provided. Excellent central location, 2 pools with swim up pool bars, rooms which were spacious and great value for money - overall really happy with our stay

Happy hour specials could be better, and the linen quality is something that needs to be looked at a bit more closely. Need to look at ways to get towels and sheets cleaner and free from marks and stains

We were on the 3rd floor top level towards the end overlooking the main pool area. Good location close to most things especially the beach walk shopping centre. Mini marts directly across road. We called reception the 2nd day we were there as no 2nd towel hand towel or body wash in shower was empty they came straight away and filled up the dispenser. Staff were friendly. Could not check in early as they were not ready but was okay they lock up your bags and we went for lunch at the big shopping centre for late lunch and aircon. They say they try to meet requests where possible and luckily enough both our requests of a quiet room and rooms next to each other were possible

The sliding glass door in the rooms for both rooms locked but large enough gap for the odd mozzie to get in and the sheer curtain needs a good wash like mould appearance around edges Make sure you bring your own soap and shampoo the body wash/shampoo is an all in one in the shower found it did not lather well ok for body wash no good as shampoo

Initially I thought it was going to be dodgy going to the resort down a crowded and narrow side street, however everything is extended and hidden. The pictures promoting the resort need to be updated, it’s still beautiful but not as pristine as the pictures used. staff were friendly and helpful. within walking distance to most things (mall, beach, shops we etc). I feel by Bali standards, what we paid was a very good deal. loved that we were left alone and mainly used resort as a base and for our family of 15 to gather and enjoy each others company.

Great location and value for money, exceptional staff who are friendly and go out of their way for you, lovely clean pools & clean rooms and comfortable beds great money changer on premises which has better rates than on the street, would stay again

Drunk patrons at poolside swim up bar getting progressively louder starting at 10am and going strong until at lest 10pm 3 out of 4 nights we were there. The spa was of poor quality - looked messy and staff unprofessional Also didn’t like the local drug dealers who sat outside the hotel driveway every day. Security just watched them didn’t do anything else.

Property was central to everything and the Friday night bbq dinner was so much fun and delicious. Right near a lot of restaurants and 5 min walk to the big shopping mall. The hotel really went above and beyond for my son’s birthday with amazing balloons and decorations.

Shower was mouldy and sometimes smelly.

Great breakfasts, plenty to choose from. The pools are nice, room is spacious and clean. Loved the pillows and the comfortable bed.

Everything was great. If I had to say something it would be that there was no menu for room service in the room. Only a QR code which I don't bother with.

Close to the mall and street markets. Great location, close to everything. Majority of staff were amazing! Convenient to have currency exchange at the hotel.

Staff in restaurant very rarely smile unlike the rest of the staff at the hotel who always smile and greet you. I hope the restaurant staff are okay :) Can hear everything in the hallway and outside but didn't really phase us. If you're a light sleeper would recommend earplugs. Pool could be cleaned more often, on day 3 of our stay it started to turn slightly green.
