The hotel is very nice for the price. It offers a good breakfast. The rooms are simple, and the furniture is old, but we didn´t mind. You can request cleaning whenever you want. They will automatically change your towels during room cleaning. We had a room with a fan, which was hot, but it wasn´t so bad. A room with AC would be better for heat-sensitive people. The staff was helpful and friendly. What we loved the most was the pool. You can go to the pool whenever you want, even at night. We will visit this hotel again when coming to Bali.

There was a mold in the bathroom, but it wasn´t dirty. Everything is moldy in Bali because of the high humidity. Public bathrooms in Denpasar are horrific in comparison to this hotel bathroom.

Time travel back to Kuta 1979, this is one of the early resorts. A truly welcoming fragrant artistic traditional '70s Balinese resort. Cannot hear anything but the pool, laughter, birds maybe music. From any angle, at any light, it's a timeless piece of pure Bali Hindu art. It's so far removed from the madness of Kuta around it, best to set your watch back 40yrs I loved chilling behind/ beneath the waterfalls in the 2.5m deep pool. Really great pool for deep dives & quick hard underwater workouts. Sun bake or sun escape, the constant, whisper of the waterfall just soothes me. The rooms are classic & comfortable, spacious, often a bathtub, great beds, great outdoor deck. Every bit the art deco original 70s Bali. Air costs a cupla bucks, always worth it. Tell them your preference on booking, mine was exactly as requested. But by far & beyond, the true beauty of Sorga lies within its people, whose hospitality, knowledge, grace, humility and honesty has no bounds. I made a point of tipping every gardener, every cleaner, thanking them for their part in making my stay so memorable.

Dunno why the sad face, I loved every minute. A note to owners - for the AC Deluxe rooms, I'd pay extra 100k a night for a ultracold fridge, better lighting with dimmers, blackout curtains, guarantee hot water shower, and Free2Air & HDMI access on the TV.

I liked the whole athmosphere, the traditional style, the pool is super, the breakfasts, the staff is super nice and it is in a good place. I would recommend staying here, it deffenetly worth the price.

I didnt like that the airconditioning was dirty and we got a bit sick from it so we didnt turn it on, so it was a bit warm at night. The rooms were clean but a bit rusty and dark, but other than the rooms it has acharm. No fridge, some bugs, but pretty garden.

This place is a small heaven, truly authentic, with a kind of healing energy in the air. I can't explain why, but the people I've talked to have shared the same experience. The staff are really lovely, and the garden is beautiful. If you want to experience something extraordinary in Bali, while also enjoying an authentic atmosphere, I highly recommend coming here. It’s in a great location: close to the beach, but far enough to not be disturbed by tourists.

I loved the age of the property, I felt like I was staying in a very nice hotel in the 70’s, very traditional and exquisite gardens. The staff were very friendly with a traditional welcome drink.

Breakfast was very basic- Mei goreng was a packet of 2-minute noodles on a plate with a slice of cucumber.. some added veggies would have made this another level. The toilet didn’t flush that welland the electrics were loose, the sheet ripped when I put my feet in so slept on top of the blankets and used my own pillow and sheet. I heard another guests shower didn’t work… I feel for the staff as we were not fussy guests, but some might complain. Small upgrades could make this place exceptional again! We loved our stay!!! Thank you Sorga (Heaven) we will stay again- excellent quiet location and close to everything.. Kuta didn’t feel so so busy in this stay..

Great little hidden gem. A few bumps and scrapes but great value for money and clean as most hotels. Better value than 5 star and a more intimate experience. Don't expect shiny new surfaces. It's Bali.

Bathroom could do with a bit of TLC but nothing too bad. Had worse in a far more expensive hotels with big brand names and price tags.

The swimming pool at this hotel is amazing. It's so deep and beautiful with the water features and it was so clean. The staff were extremely helpful. The food I ordered for lunch and dinner from the restaurant was satisfying and affordable.

The telephone didn't work in the room. The hot water was off for the first few days but came on after I mentioned it. The breakfast was a bit lacking however the fruit was delicious.

It is set in a nice garden and has a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast pancakes are among the best we had in 3 weeks of Indonesia.

In one of the two rooms, the bathroom smelled a bit of sewage, the old pipes probably need a bit of attendance.

The room is big, its basic but comfortable. All the staff is friendly and super nice. Very helpful receptionists , u can rent a bike next to the hotel. Value for money if u plan to stay for long term. They clean the room everyday for me and give new towel. Upon arrival there is welcome drink as well. Wifi is excellent in the room.

Not so much option for breakfast but anyway the hotel is close to alot of restaurant. But if they provided plenty options for breakfast that will be great.

The hotel had an exceptional pool which was extremely clean and in good condition. The airconditioning was very effective. The grounds of the area were beautiful, with several ponds and a bamboo xylophone. The area was surprisingly quiet considering its proximity to the main roads & the 'party areas' in Kuta. The balcony was comfortable and gave a good view over the grounds. A nearby warung "Munchies" does very good coffee & nasi goreng for a great price.

The room had a total of 2 power outlets, one of which was in the bathroom. The shower took a very long time to warm up, however the water was hot when it did finally come out. There was no soap or similar provided with the room. Drivers sometimes struggled to navigate the alleyway out the front to access the property.
