There are pros and cons for Zia The good 1) Location close to Kuta square 2) The staff - very friendly and good natured 3) The room was good but lacks balcony 4) the pool was surprisingly good 5) Gym was ok but not wide ranging (very useful though after walking a lot)

The Cons - not too many 1) location yes I had as a positive that is until it’s after 10-10:30 the road back can be a bit too much for some. People selling drugs, homeless asking for money and a few creepy people were almost a common occurrence (not the fault of hotel) 2) Breakfast options weren’t great but used it a few times out of convenience 3) the towels and bathrooms weren’t the best (take your own towels- I always do in Asia anyhow) - bathroom was outdated and water drainage wasn’t the best - but it wasn’t too terrible

Location. Pool. Breakfast. We overslept one morning and they called us to remind us about breakfast that was very thoughtful of them.

There was one front desk lady staff who was not cooperative. First time I asked for shower cap, she said there weren't any at the hotel which was not completely true. Second time I asked her if they could join the twin beds because we had requested for a double room and she refused as well claiming that the cable on the room phone could not be adjusted which also was not true because when I went to move the beds on my own there was no serious issue with adjusting the phone cable. They gave us a duvet which was smaller than the size of the bed so we had trouble covering ourselves at night.

The rooftop pool was nice, the gym is a bit old but still functional, room was a good size and overall clean and comfortable. Taxi service was good, staff were friendly and polite.

Barking dogs at night made it hard to sleep soundly, wifi wasn't strong enough for video conferencing, had to use my hotspot for internet on several occasions. Pillows were not sturdy enough, and even after asking for a harder pillow, it wasn't provided because I don't think they had them available. The housekeeping staff might have put two pillows into one pillowcase to try to satisfy my request, I didn't check, but it didn't make much difference. Breakfast wasn't the best quality, but not bad.

The hotel was very value for money with very great location that just walking distance to Kuta beach. If your plan for Bali holiday and just need place to rest at night (with all outside activities), this hotel is the best option. The staff from reception, security guard, parking valet officer and everyone are very nice.

The hotel quite old, but with good maintenance. Need to improve the wall paint inside the room. Also need to improve the laundry - they do not change the towel until we left. But overall still acceptable.

Wow, what an excellent stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful, I stayed for 6 nights and when I left a do not disturb sign for two mornings (so they didn't have to clean anything) they called my room to ask if I needed any extra amenities. Called for an issue with the AC, turns out I left my balcony door a little open and it turns off automatically if the door is open. But the service guy came within 5 mins. Breakfast was good with multiple choices, the eggs were really good. Location was good too, less than 10 min walk to Kuta Beach, I even walked to Seminyak along the beach (30-40mins) once and took a scooter ride another time(10 mins). Lots of shops and restaurants around. Fridge in room. Pool was nice. AC works really well. No bugs either. Would definitely stay there again.

No balcony (I thought there was a full when booking, but it was just a little Juliet balcony) but that's not a huge issue. Lighting in the bathroom could have been a bit more, but also not a huge issue overall.

The rooms are good, and the shower has a nice, strong stream of warm water. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast is decent, with plenty of options at the buffet. The rooftop pool is perfect. You can enjoy a peaceful swim while taking in a beautiful view.

One downside is that it can be quite noisy in the morning when people walk through the hallways and talk. I'm not sure if the guests were just particularly loud or if the hotel isn't very soundproof—or maybe a combination of both.

We booked this hotel for the afternoon/evening before a very late flight out. The hotel is very centrally located and although very cheap it is spotlessly clean. Yes the towels are a little old and the place is looking tired, but value for money cannot be beaten. There were bathroom amenities, bottled water provided and a safe in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and for the price we paid, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

I fractured my knee my first night in Kuta and the hotel staff took such good care of me. Took me to the hospital and took turns to sit by my side for 6 hours while I was there. Held my hand while I was crying and made me feel like family. Since I was travelling by myself it was so nice to have that support. They also helped me bring food/drinks to the room when I had a hard time getting around on crutches. Will definitely come back when I visit Kuta again.

When I first checked in, I had an issue with bedding and it was organised to the way I wanted it by the evening. The staff and managers are really helpful. Honestly, I have never met more caring people and more genuine stuff ever a lifelong recommendation for friends and family travelling to Bali, Kuta.

The food wasn’t great. I ordered chicken and had to send it back to have it cooked a little more. It was very plain and not great value for money quite a small portion.

Me and my friend had a wonderful stay in Zia Hotel Kuta. The place was great with the best price for budget travelers like us. The rooms were spacious and every day make up room. Their buffet was also great even though it has limited options. Thank you Bayu for the smooth check in as well as an awesome stay! Thank as well, Julie, for the unique omelet and serving us with awesome food! Thank you Devi for the customized reservation we have! The location was right at the center of all stores, bars, warungs, and anything that we need. Even though the island is always traffic, it can easy access the Kuta beach and other activities that we want! I will surely go back and stay with friends or family.

Nothing much... The elevator is totally secure and you cannot access other floor rooms but in the pool and lobby.
