We stayed in a family bungalow which was spacious and had a great outdoor area. The bathroom was large, water was hot and shower pressure was amazing. Aircon worked well. The pool area was gorgeous within a very relaxing setting. The buffet breakfast was simple but catered for a range of tastes. Location was great - a short 10 minute walk to the beach but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. For the price it was fabulous.

We had booked a family bungalow, but for those with younger kids, you should be aware that this is actually 2 separate rooms connected by an external staircase. The beds are not as comfortable as we were hoping, but everyone has their own tastes. The fridge in one room was not very cold and was quite smelly - we chose not to use it. It would have been nice to receive a little more information about the hotel and services, i.e. pool towels, cleaning, room service etc at check-in or with some information provided in the rooms. Overall, we don't have a lot of negatives about this place and would definitely stay again.

There is insects, mosquitoes , in the villa ,we have to use mosquito net,and insects lotion and so we can sleep, the aircond doesn't work properly in our room , but in my kids bedroom aircond working very good , but that's no big problem for us ,everything else very very good , I will definitely recommend to people this villa , very good value for money if your travel with family .

The Pura Dewi is a old rustic bali hotel and that is its beauty/charm. All clean/tidy. Pool is excellent, our 1yr old daughter loved playing in the shallow pool with our family. Breakfast was good, some mite say not enough variety, but if that's the case go to the Marriot or Hilton then. Staff as per Balinese people were all Happy-Smiley-Helpful people, our daughter loved the dancing brekkie man. If you like old rustic bali , then come stay here, we stayed in a ground floor villa (had big verandah style seating area with its own fish pond). A Very big Terimah Kasih to Everyone at Puri Dewa for making our stay and our 1yr old daughters stay a memorable experience. We will be back again on our next holiday with more of our Jakarta family.

The pool was very clean, breakfast was good and the staff are lovely

There was a leak on the floor around the toilet. A couple of hand towels in our room would’ve been nice. I borrowed a hair dryer at the reception desk, but there was no heat in the appliance, just cool air. When checking out the young man at the desk took a while to do this and in addition before letting us go he had to send someone to our villa to check it first before letting us go. This has never happened before to us at our previous stays there, we were a little put out by this

The pool area was fab! The building itself was traditional Balinese style and so charming. Short walk to shopping area and everything you need close by. The staff were very helpful too. My daughter slipped in the rain and hurt her ankle so they let us change rooms to a beautiful downstairs room.

Lots of traffic on the street but that’s what you get when you stay somewhere that is close to amenities.

A beautiful old Balinese style hotel. The rooms are spacious, the staff are always smiling and helpful and the gardens are beautiful. This was my second time qt this hotel, I had been there 8 years ago, and after reading recent reviews I was a little cautious but maybe the feedback had been taken on board eg. I didn't see a towel with a hole in it. Located about 15 min walk from the beach and heaps of bars and restaurants locally but the road noise was non existant from the villa area. We will be back.

Overall we were so happy with our stay but feel like breakfast could be improved on. Little range and no bacon, sausage or cerial although we didn't walk away hungry with fruit, toast, egg, rice and noodle options.

Location was great. Short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants, shops and laundries nearby. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Lovely gardens and pool. Food and drinks available near the pool. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was plentiful with several choices. Good value for the price.

The 3 flights of stairs to our room. The 2 bedroom family villa was 2 separate villas. Not suitable for a family with young kids.

Friendly staff. Old money build this old hotel with old architecture. This old style hotel is getting harder and harder to find in Bali. New Money build a new crampy hotels and charge you arms and legs to stay. Street food stalls is literally just outside the gate.

Plumbing system need urgent TLC. Fresh towels every day would be much appreciated.

The staff were very friendly, especially the dancing brekie chef, our 1 yr old daughter enjoyed his fun. Brekkie was good. Swimming pool is excellent. Our room was clean & tidy, our patio with chairs/couch was a extra bonus, as was the fridge, it even had a pond with fish in it.

There is nothing to not like.
