If you want to sit back, relax and just take a moment, then I highly recommend this hotel. Located far from the hustle and bustle of south Bali is this complex that is not unlike a safari lodge. Personally greeted by wonderful staff and a welcome juice, we were shown to our circular bungalow room with a magnificent view.. We have extensively travelled the world and the swimming pool is up there with the best of them. Beautiful dinner in the restaurant and a plentiful breakfast the next morning completed our stay. The hotel is dated but spotless and is slowly being restored to its former glory after covid. We are regular visitors to Bali and plan to revisit

I absolutely loved my stay at this rare gem. It's a beautiful, old Balinese-style hotel, full of luxury and charm. Although it is only partially open at the moment, I was fortunate to enjoy the breathtaking views, complete tranquility, and true seclusion. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, and the cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable. Even though the hotel shows its age, everything is kept in pristine condition. The unique atmosphere and attention to detail made my stay truly unforgettable. I will definitely be returning for the peace and atmosphere.

Location is outstanding. Amazing to be in the hills with all the wild life. Nice walks from the resort. The buildings are great, like something from a lost world movie. Excellent infinty pool. Staff were super helpful. The massage ladies traveled to the resort and were awesome. Large rooms and some have outside showers. Can't wait to come back again

Short section of road has potholes but only about 10mins.. We loved everything about this place but it is not in it's prime. The owner Kozzie is working hard to return it to its full glory. It's definitely worth a visit even as is.

It is an old luxurious Bali hotel..a hidden treasure... in a forgotten place...do not expect a modernised hotel. There is an outside bathroom with bathtub and extra shower outside. Hot water is available.. They keep it alive....and you probably end up as the only visitor there ... It is definitely worth a stay... you better book for 1 night ....and see if it is something for you...

1km before the hotel the road is very bad..stone road and very uphill by moments...try to reach the hotel before it gets dark....

If you want to relax and get away from the craziness of kuta, this is the perfect place.

Your WAY OFF THE BEATEN PATH ! For me its exactly what I wanted. BUT IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT SLEEPING AND LIVING IN A JUNGLE MEANS I DONT RECOMMEND. Example, lizards, big creepy bugs, 100s of different birds. Jungle sounds I've never heard before can be pretty overwhelming. DEFINITELY A PLACE TO BOOK ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS, I Decided to extend my stay, while other guest checked out early. Its ot for the weary at heart.

It's an amazing place for running retreats. I loved the huge bungalows overlooking the lagoon. The ladies decorated our beds with beautiful frangipani flowers. It's great to come here for 7-10 days, even to work from here for a month or two, since no distractions around. Our bungalow had an outside bath, with a stone bathtube - loved it! They are circular and the balcony view must be stunning in the rainy season. The pool has an incorporated bar and is big enough to go for some laps. The water was so warm! We came in October. Definitely book the snorkeling tour, + 5 h to go visit the nearby island and see amazing fishes and we even saw a turtle. best snorkeling ever in my life! Ask Kossy for the tour and he will arrange everything for you. Scooters available at the property. Restaurant available at the property.

It's not easily accessible, we came by an SUV and left the same way. There is nothing in walking distance or even driving, so make sure you eat there, or somewhere else, as you go back into the resort. Any other kind of shopping can be done in the local markets, around 15 min by car from the resort.

As expected, secluded area, silent with birds and the nature only, The pool was amazing, the simple breakfast was good, and the staff and the owner is so friendly.

I think they need more staff to do the garden, it is so big with flowers and plants arrangement. Will be better if you can have events once in a while to attract crowds especially near or on May and October where many people go the Church and Cave if Mary nearby.

We loved the fact we had the whole resort to ourselves, when you get an emails asking if you need anything as it is remote make sure you let them know, it is remote and they only have a small amount of everything including milk and beer. the pool areas was lovely, the rooms were big and some were being renovated at the time, food was good but limited as very remote.

From beginning to end my stay was phenomenal. Mossy and Iman were fantastic - they arranged and took me on a tour of the village and met every need. The hotel is an oasis. From lovely spacious rooms to phenomenal outdoor settings. It was one of if not the best hotel I have stayed in, in Bali.

Wi-Fi can be abit spotty.
