1) Cabin accommodation style was exactly as shown on booking.com 2) The on-site supervisor (Angga) was an excellent host 3) The manager (Martin) was responsive to our queries before arrival and assisted us with all transfers.

1) The presence of a dog on the premises living with guests who were there before and during our stay was a huge disappointment. Nothing was done about our complaint to Martin and we had to contend with smelly and filthy dog poo in the area as well as the dog not on leash disturbing us. If you declare a "no pets policy" then you must enforce it please 2) The upper lodge had a leak through the sunroof during the 3 days of heavy rain and we had to use towels on the bed to absorb it

Rhianna is a beautiful soul and takes so much pride in what she does. She understands hospitality and works so hard to make sure the guests are well taken care of. She arranged my transport within minutes. There was a guy waiting for me with a sign off the boat to the yellow bridge and another guy waiting after the bridge. The villa is quiet and far from the action of the island. If you're looking to party this is NOT the place. I complained about the girl below me playing loud dance music at 10pm and it was addressed immediately. I loved my outdoor toilet and shower...only the top bungalow had this feature. There is nothing to walk to so you need to hire a scooter each time or rent a bike. The roads up the mountain are paved halfway than very rocky with potholes and dirt. Thank you Rhianna 😊

Before we even arrived the service was exceptional, this continued for the entire stay thanks to Riana and her team - Damian and Nitha. We were part of a large family group staying here which can often be logistically challenging, however everything was catered for perfectly. Along with the exceptional service was the location away from the bustle of town centre, with amazing views coupled with beautiful villas overlooking the ocean. Everything was well cleaned and the pool was sparkling. We had the most amazing time here and will most definitely be back.

My stay at Butterfly Villa was AMAZING! The staff are beyond helpful and are so accommodating. The view is incredible (make sure to wake up for sunrise)!!! I needed to extend my stay, and they were so accommodating and always made me feel welcomed whenever I arrived back. Honestly, Ceningan has become one of my favourite places and I cannot wait to come back.

Unfortunately, it is on the other side of the island (HOWEVER, worth it for the view), which makes it tricky to get to and from other places... especially since the road to get there isn't great (lots of rock and quite steep). I had a bike accident on my first day in Ceningan so then resorted to walking everywhere, it would take me about 30mins to walk down to the main area of Ceningan. However, this was not an issue for me.

Let me just say that I have never experienced such warm, kind, welcoming, and happy human beings like in this beautiful place. We felt so blessed to have spent this much to short time here. Everything was beyond great, and we will definitely be back. Saying goodbye was really sad... we hope only good people come here and treat the staff like they deserve to be treated. Really nice view and cottages were Lovell with hot water. Manager Riana was really nice person and helpful. Chef was not there but Riana ordered us food when we needed it. Few nice restaurants in short walking distance. Recommended to rent a scooter. I don't drive a scooter but we managed by walking and when driver picked us up when checked out we took a tour to Blue Lagoon and Mahana Point 🙂

Love butterfly villas. The view is absolutely incredible. The little balcony was perfect. It feels like you are perched in a gorgeous wooden cabin on top of the ocean. An absolute dream come true and such good value for money.

I loved everything - but just some things to note. It's the backside if the island so only book here if you're comfortable on the scooter and note the road is sketchy and steep in a few areas but you get use it. Also the staff don't clean your room unless you ask.

Amazing place with the best view right from the bed. I stayed here twice in the last two months, and during my second visit, the new owner had already made noticeable improvements. The room was clean and cozy, the atmosphere more refined, and the staff were incredibly helpful. A perfect island escape—peaceful, beautiful, and now even better than before.

This place is just amazing. We will always gladly come back. The Bungalows are so nicely built, clean and smell fresh. The Bathrooms are also clean and really tastefully designed. The staff changed to last year, but improved in so many ways. Thank you for the kind and friendly help and flexibility with room change. We can only recommend this wonderful place. That we could not stay longer :)

The property had the most unreal views, it was the most perfect stay we could’ve imagined. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was beautiful. It was all perfect. The staff were absolutely amazing, the most helpful and friendly staff I’ve ever come across. They went out of their way daily to facilitate us in terms of advice and help along the way with any troubles we came across whilst travelling. It had such a friendly and homely feel to it!

I loved it all - the only thing that we thought was that it would’ve been nice if there was like a slight breakfast menu - such as maybe a smoothie bowl or anything. Only bevause we wanted to be lazy and stay there all morning at times but had to leave to get some breakfast!
