The place is fresh and beautiful, you can watch the ocean view and amazing sunsets sitting on your terrace. It's quite clean, no mold or mildew yet. It was windy, which is more like + than - for me. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Definitely one of that places you'll come again when you have chance.

Water in shower is cold sometimes. There are alot of ants and insects around. It's quite far from the beach, walking take like 20 mins. If you stay long you'd like to have some more breakfast options. Wi-fi is working in dopamine detox mode.

Beautiful picturesque views with gorgeous pool facilities and loungers, comfortable and clean rooms (best kept room we have stayed in Bali), welcoming and helpful staff (went above and beyond, nothing was ever a bother - so friendly and pleasant), enjoyed dinner here 2/4 nights and the food was excellent. In every way an amazing place with a GORGEOUS view over the sea! If you want a place to relax and also away from all the city noise, we HIGHLY recommend coming here. The personal are so sweet and very quick at providing any service asked. They don’t have laundry washing at the place, but reccomended a place for us that was great. We also saw them help other guests get in contact with food services or other people which was really nice. Every day our room would be made up, and we would have a bottle of water put in the room. There is great space in the room and bathroom. The pool is amazing at a really nice temperature, and somehow made your hair feel smooth after(?)🤩 The food at the hotel is also really good, and it’s just great to enjoy it with a view at sunset🥰 They are also generally quick at answering on WhatsApp, so you can always get a hold of them if you need pickup to the hotel after a day out. Beware that as mentioned, this is out of the city and further into the landscape, which means you can expect to soooometimes encounter bigger animals like Gekkos. However, all we experienced was sightings of them, so no need to be scared. We found it cool so we liked it 😎 Also, there is a (CUTE) dog roaming around named Coco🥹😍 All in all: Just book it, it’s great!!

Not their fault at all, just a small note to people stating in the future: There are no ATM’s on Ceningan, so withdraw cash beforehand. The hotel has a car that can drive you anywhere on Ceningan for 100k, and you can also rent scooters there, but also a note there, is the roads not being in the best condition.

The stay was great from the start, with the accommodation organising our boat ride and taxi from Sanur harbour. The owner then picked us up from the yellow bridge and took us to the property. This property was great, with a personal lodge for each guest, overlooking a pool which had a great seating area including a hammock and some swinging chairs. The pool area was enjoyable and directly in the sun, which we loved. We enjoyed some food at the hotel when we arrived. The staff were extremely helpful with anything and everything. As the hotel is situated at the top of the hill, the owners of the hotel happily helped by driving us to the nearby restaurants/bars which we really appreciated. We were also able to hire a scooter from this property which was a help as we could easily travel around the island and drive over to Nusa Lembongan too. The staff were so helpful, helping with sending some of our laundry off to be washed and ironed (for a small fee.) Nothing was too much for the lovely people who own this property. The actual lodge was clean and equipped with necessities including tea, coffee and water. They also had a smart TV, which was nice of a night time. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved that the staff could organise trips out to Nusa Penida, watersports etc. We felt so stress free during our stay as the owners had everything covered and we couldn’t thank them enough. On leaving, the hotel organised our taxi and boat back to Sanur which again was really helpful and took away any stress from ourselves. We throughly enjoyed our stay here and we hope to come back again in the future!!

Located at the highest point of Nusa Ceningan, the accommodation office, peace, and tranquility. The villas are very clean and tidy, well equipped, very good beds and quiet air conditioning. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they expertly organized our incoming and outgoing trip (shuttle, ferry) as well as day-trips during our stay. 

We stayed at Tatak Bunut for three weeks, and it was an amazing experience! The wonderful family that owns and operates the place went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The property is perched high on a hill, offering breathtaking views of the sea and Bali's main island from our room. The sunsets were stunning. Breakfast was delicious and just the right amount for us. They offer a small selection of cocktails and food at very reasonable prices. There are also two nearby restaurants, both with equally stunning views. I love walking and the hill kept me fit, but we also rented a scooter from them for convenience. Tatak Bunut is a peaceful and beautiful local gem that we will definitely return to. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The host was absolutely wonderful! It was a very friendly and welcoming family. The accommodation was spotless, and every time we went out, they cleaned our room meticulously. The entire property was very well-maintained, and the staff was always ready to assist with anything we needed. During our stay, we rented a scooter directly from the property, which was incredibly convenient. Additionally, when I needed help with my tickets and transportation, they were more than willing to assist. Overall, an exceptional experience, and I would highly recommend this place!

The accommodation is located on a higher elevation compared to sea level, and reaching it required riding a scooter up a rough dirt road. However, it was also possible to get there on foot if preferred. The property is situated on Nusa Ceningan, and renting a scooter is a great option to explore the island or to cross the Yellow Bridge, which connects Ceningan to Nusa Lembongan for further exploration.

Everything apart from the isolation & bad access if you want to walk anywhere - the road up to villa is like a goat track & very pot-holed. The family were beautiful & the wee villa was next-level wonderful. My favourite accomm in Bali (apart from the isolation as above ...). Pool was wonderful, villa located very high up so a great view & amazng sunsets. Seeing seat, sun loungers all great. If u you want to just get away & chill can't recommend it enough. Take snacks etc as only a basic warung with not much in it close by. No massages within walking distance altho they will take you on scooter. So clean & every need catered for in your room.

Just too far off the beaten track for me but in saying that, I'd still have a night or two here agn but would come better prepared with fruit & snacky things.

The host was very helpful, very friendly, and always willing to help. You immediately take him to your heart. ...and he deserves the same kindness and respect in my opinion ;-) The accommodation is clean and well-kept and you can sleep well. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator. You can also eat right there and it tastes good. The last stretch of road is a little difficult for inexperienced scooter drivers, but it was no problem for me - a little adventurous. We would definitely come back.

The roosters make themselves heard quite early in the morning/night (...I think at a bit off the beaten track often in Bali are roosters). With earplugs it wasn't really a problem for us. However, therefore we could enjoy a peaceful and warm-hearted place away from the crowds.

My friend and I shared a villa and my family (2 adults + 2 kids) shared another 2. We all absolutely loved the serenity of the place - it's very remote, with a pool and hammock to lounge in and just a short (very hilly) scooter ride away from some fantastic bars and cafes, many which had infinity pools. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Not the place to travel if you have a lot of luggage/ things to carry or if you need good wifi/ data connection. Very weak signal. It's a mission to get to location-wise (2 taxis which includes walking over a dodgy bridge to catch the next mode of transport).
