The hotel is very shic, the infinity pool and the mango tree with mangos near it are inmpressive. You could see the sunset and sunrise, breakfast is good and has many options. On Thursday there was a guitar playing in the hotel's restaurent - was really romantic and nice! We could rent a scooter directly from the hotel.

Even if the bed itself was very comfortable, it squeaked while getting on or off it, the bathroom door squeaked as well. A bit annoyed because of the worries to wake up my partner. A room above us and to the side had a pool and at night you could hear water pooring down from it.

The views from our room were beautiful, overlooking Nusa Ceningan. The room was spacious, loved the outdoor bath and day bed. The staff were friendly. Local scooter rental just down the road. Restaurant food was pretty good. Main pool was really nice.

It’s further from the port, but gives you a different experience and when you hire a scooter you can access more of the islands. The pool in our room was the main let down, stunning views from the pool but there were white paint chips floating all through it and you could see it coming off the side. The ladder to get into the pool was also on its last legs. The roads everywhere are bumpy, not just to the hotel.

We stayed in the Classic Pool Villa and would definitely book this room again should we come back to the Acala. The view from the room is breathtaking and having the private pool was so lovely. All staff members were delightful & the masseurs at the Acala Spa were incredible.

The Jala restaurant has quite an extensive menu with pretty good food, (& quite a few vegetarian options!), however the portions were a little small for the price in comparison to other eateries on the island. We found the local warungs up the road, (Dmas Yummy Warung & The Ratip), to offer super tasty meals which were a lot more affordable. As another reviewer pointed out, the private pool does seem to have some paint peeling off as we too noticed the white flecks floating around & it would be great if that could be addressed.

Nusa Lembongan was our 6th stop on our honeymoon travelling around Bali and we chose this hotel and the rooftop pool villa to be able to relax after a few busy days. This hotel is beautiful, our villa was huge and the rooftop pool was lovely and so private and the space outside was great to relax in the evening. The main pool area was amazing with an infinity pool and views to die for! We had breakfast both mornings which was very tasty and we also had dinner in the restaurant one of the nights which was also great, we could not complain at all. The staff are absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Be mindful this hotel has a lot of steps up and down to the rooms, wasn’t an issue for us but definitely something to consider if you have walking difficulties.

The only tiny thing was the ladder to the private rooftop pool was a little unsteady, not a major issue though.

We stayed in a private pool villa with a stunning view over Cheningan. The facilities are beautiful, wonderful and helpful staff. Great restaurant - everything was very clean and comfortable. Use the 'back gate' for an easy walk to the yellow bridge area. We hired a motorbike and explored Lembonghan and Cheningan - just stunning. Must eat at DMA's Warung and Putu's Warrung - the best food in both places!!! If a motorbike/scooter is not your thing take advantage of the free transfers to major sites. Lembonghan is like Bali was 30 years ago - quieter, cleaner, beautiful people and lovely beaches.

We really liked everything - as others have said it is built on a hill so lots of stairs which would be difficult with mobility issues. It is more isolated although easy walk to Putu and DMAs Warungs for dinner and easy to walk to the yellow bridge and cross to get to some fantastic beach bars.

The view from the pool and restaurant was exceptional. The shuttle service provided was also fantastic, as the location is away from the main part of the island.

It was tricky to get to places but the shuttle made it easier, the room had a slight damp smell and there were a lot of stairs to get to the room. However, the staff always carried out bags

Friendly helpful and welcoming staff, especially Patar and the team in the restaurant, the lovely lady and gent on reception and all of the staff who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and the cleaners and porters. The food was first class, well done chef! Beautiful serene location, so tranquil. Hotel shuttle was very useful to Mushroom Bay, Jungubatu Beach and the Yellow bridge. We had a wonderful sea view from the balcony.

Quite isolated after the hotel shuttle finishes at around 3-4 pm Many steps to negotiate More seating areas would be good, not just by the pool If you want a view, you need to specify when you book, even if the room description states having a view.

The hotel is stunning, a whole experience. We enjoyed every second here. The staff was so sweet and the restaurant was delicious! AMAZING breakfast so many options to choose from (no limits). Rooms were impeccable and very luxurious.

Nothing. Even though it is 15 minutes away from the mains streets of the island, it’s an amazing place. Don’t let the location push you back. There are scooter rentals and free shuttles.

This place is kind of out in a quieter part of the island with very few resorts around it, and not much in the way of restaurants which was fine for us, but may not suit everyone. We liked it, very close to the yellow bridge and when you walk down the steps into the road you are in the real, non-touristy area. The restaurant is lovely and the breakfast is fantastic. We did heaps of walking around both there and over the bridge into Ceningan. There are some great restaurants looking over the seaweed farms close by. Didn't always feel the love from the locals (only a couple - most are very friendly), but we never felt unsafe. You do have a bit of a hike if you want to walk into more built up areas, but it is worth it if you like walking to take the time to do it as you see so much more than if you're on a scooter. We also hired a scooter for a day and that was awesome to get around on. There is also a free shuttle a couple of times a day going to Mushroom Beach and Jungutbatu if you need a ride.

Not real negatives, but wouldn't suit everyone: outside bathroom, (beautiful with plants and geckos) so you do hear your neighbours. Heaps of stairs so totally not suitable for anyone who can't manage them. You are also out in an area that has pretty awful rough roads, so be prepared if hiring a scooter - you do need some skills.

The setting is lovely - we chose it for the views which did not disappoint. Restaurant has great selection of options, and staff are absolutely wonderful - they felt like friends after only 3 nights. Staff made extra effort with ginger tea for our daughter when she was sick. Pool area is quiet - a lovely place to relax. There is a small convenience store nearby which is handy for snacks.

Road to hotel is very bumpy - shuttle is good but sometimes it may be better to walk as distance to beaches is not too far.
