The location is great, in the center of everything.

Just a heads-up for others: when renting a motorbike, 'a day' usually means 24 hours, but here at the hostel it means until the end of the same calendar day, even if you start the rental late. This wasn't communicated clearly at check-in, or when I mentioned my morning plans. Unfortunately, I received a message after I had already left in the morning that I had to return the bike, forcing me to cancel my plans. It caused unnecessary stress, so make sure to clarify the rental terms beforehand!

The owner, made, and his wife & daughter were all very accomodating and helpful! There was a water re-fill station and two bathrooms in each room. Location was also great and super central. For budget travellers I would recommend.

The wifi was broken for a few days, but when it was eventually fixed I was able to work on my laptop with no issues.

Made is an amazing host! He picked me up and dropped me off at the harbor upon request and rented me my first scooter, which helped me build confidence to drive on Penida! He also offered daily light breakfast of coffee/tea and toast with a packaged strawberry jam. Loved that he had water refill. I was the only guest on my second night at the hostel, and he was always looking out for me. Room was spotlessly clean, towel provided, cold shower, and a very comfortable bed. AC functioned well enough to cool the room when you slept, but once the sun was on the room it warmed up quickly, a great place for those who rise before 9am! Decent restaurants within walking distance, and Made was kind to offer me a ride wherever I needed on my first night.

Both nights the power went out at some point, the second night from about 1am-6am which made it quite warm in the room. I managed by wetting my hair but was very grateful when it came back on in the morning. Still 10/10 place as that is totally out of Made's control, but should be something others can be aware of that happens from time to time.

-Idyllic authentic location -pretty 4-person bungalows with good air con and nice seating in front of it -2 clean bathrooms per 4 persons = OUTSTANDING !!! -ideal for active travellers -favourable scooter rental directly from the host (helmets available) -Transfer from / to the boat offered to me by the host free of charge -Water + coffee 24/7 free of charge -Restaurants within walking distance -stable beds, comfy mattresses, mosquito net on request -Sleeping with the sounds of nature instead of scooter noise = HOLIDAY 😃 or even better: Longstay

Loved this place I extended my stay and was sad to leave, for a solo traveler that like privacy these rooms are convenient only 4 beds in each room so nothing overwhelming. Two toilets and showers which was also a bonus. The hostel is very friendly and very helpful, hiring a bike was easy and the dogs that greet you make it that much nicer to come home to. The location is convenient only a short drive and any direction and your at the beach. Because it’s situated on top of the hill you get amazing views of balis volcano if you go early morning

The pressure of one shower was a bit low but manageable.

The female room was ample and clean, with two bathrooms for 4 women. It was pretty comfortable and I enjoyed the terrace. The staff is friendly and solve your questions, they are always present I. The hostel. I would definitely recommend it! It’s located to a short walk from some beaches and touristic area

The location is good but you do need a scooter. I wouldn’t say it’s strictly an issue because you do need scooter to go around the island

The best part of the hostel is the owner. Is a super kind man, that offered to pick me up at the harbor, gave me tips for my excursions, and has always been available for any kind of request. The breakfast was good! With fresh fruit and toast. The location is amazing, super quiet if you want to relax, but close to all the attractions of the island. Everything was amazing!

I planned to stay 2 nights here and ended up extending 3 times. It’s a very peaceful place to read, journal, relax and have solitude but there were also other travelers to talk with when I wanted to socialize. I didn’t rent a bike but I felt comfortable and safe walking all around the island. I walked to mushroom bay or the nearby secret beaches everyday. The room was clean with a comfy bed and air conditioning. They provide a breakfast of toast, jam, fruit, coffee and tea. A lovely hostel on a beautiful island. I wish I could have stayed longer. Also, the owners are very helpful and kind. They picked me up from the port and dropped me back at the port.

I liked that the location was farther from the action. It was quiet enough to enjoy Nusa Lembongan's peace. The breakfast was a good start, I would usually add a little more of my own granola and spreads to the meal to compliment it. It felt like cabin camping with ensuite bathrooms, there were two bathrooms in each dorm. The host was wonderful and provided us with rides to and from the harbor on arrival and departure and helped with scooter Rental, surf board rental and even helped to arrange the ferry to other islands.

There was only a small mirror, but it was okay.

Great little place in a good location. The host is so nice and helpful, he even drove us to the ferry our last day which we so appreciated. The rooms were large and modern, and the AC was so powerful. The beds were comfy and having 2 bathrooms inside was a big plus. The breakfast was a nice plus as well.

Everything was fine for the price. A pool would’ve made this stay perfect for the hot days but the beach is not far :)
