Loved our private pool and outdoor bathroom was very cute. The babysitters they organized were great. It was great being able to walk to the beach.

The restaurant wasn’t open so we couldn’t get any food (apart from breakfast). It would have been good to have been given some taxi drivers numbers.

Loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. felt very jungly! Super clean place, great value for money. Pool was lovely, I was often the only one in there as the whole place is so quiet and serene (just the sounds of nature!) Breakfast was great, staff were lovely and friendly. refillable water fountain so you don’t need to buy more water bottles.

a little bit far and isolated from the main stretch of restaurants which is ok in the day (10-25 mins walk depending on where you want to go). But most places will offer you a lift back to the guest house for free. I was a single female traveller and was a bit worried walking in the dark so a member of staff gave me a lift to the restaurant and then I got a free ride back with one of the waiters!

Excellent privacy at our private pool and friendly helpful staff. Good view from main pool. Very cheap minibar prices. Scooter Rental, Laundry, Babysitting all arranged by cottage staff and payable by credit card on check out. Basic but good breakfast included, fruit platters, hot drinks, fresh blended juice, eggs any style with toast, or pancakes. Comfortable beds, powerful air-conditioning and hot+cold water shower.

Noise from Live Music Bar at the top to hill 7pm-9.30pm most nights bothered our young children but wasn't excessive and nothing ear plugs wouldn't solve if you needed an early night.

Our cottage at Darsan was wonderfully charming and comfortable! Very roomy and the beds were very comfortable. The 'outdoor' bathroom/shower was absolutely lovely and functional. We loved the pool and the view was spectacular, as were the grounds. The staff was also extremely helpful. I enjoyed the sounds of the chickens and wildlife at night/early morning, but some may find the noise bothersome.

The only drawbacks to the property are the lack of adequate hot water sometimes (not a problem for me but I don't have hair to shampoo) and the need to use a 'taxi' to get to the main area where restaurants and shops are. A beach and several restaurants are a fairly short walk down the hill, but the hill seems much steeper on the walk back up!

The villas are small and authentic - we loved them! 4 poster comfy bed, outside bathroom which was lovely, pool was beautiful. Location was perfect! At first we thought we were the middle of nowhere but a 5min walk to beach restaurants etc (it is a hill walking back!) we hired scooters and we’re in the perfect place to explore the island. Nothing was to much trouble - we extended our stay and will 100% be back loved loved loved it!

Maybe the hill to walk back up but hire a scooter and problem solved!!! Also all restaurants will offer a driver to bring you home! Nothing!

Great Location, Lovely Staff. Close to the best little beach that has a nice surf break.

They were doing a bit of construction within the place. It wasn't too bad and they agreed to stop when we wanted to have an afternoon nap.

Location is beautiful. Host is amazing and very friendly and helpful. Pool is great as well to cool off. You can rent scooter from him for market price. Host helped in biking boat to sanur and snorkelling trip. Mosquito net helps greatly. Water refill is wonderful gesture. Welcome drink is cooling addition.

For a boutique stay there was nothing at the bathroom other than just a simple shower gel and shampoo. Nothing at the sink. No hand towel, no hand wash and anything else. We asked for hair dryer and it was provided. No warm water for shower. Our room had a mouse or rat on the roof I guess, it was making biting noise several times during the night. I don't think they could do much because we heard the same next night but less frequent.

It was so peaceful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The cottages were a great size for our family. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. I can’t wait to see what this place looks like in 12 months time, Gede has great plans to expand the accommodation. Accessing a driver was easy and it’s a steep but short walk down to the beach and boardwalk

The shower was intermittently warm, but the warm weather meant this wasn’t a problem

We loved the pool after a walk up the hill from the beach to cool off in. Loved how helpful the staff were in helping us organise a snorkeling tour, laundry and transfers. Bed was super comfortable, and air con was really good at keeping the room comfortable sleeping temp. The quirky outdoor bathroom was fun.

I stayed with my daughter and her kids, their two rooms were great. My room was also really nice, however I seemed to get visited by mozzies overnight. ( the others weren’t at all, so maybe I was just blessed) Not sure where they came from, as the place was shut up, and had mozzie nets around the bed that keep most at bay, but a few persistent ones woke me up each night. Suggest you have a can of spray to zap any visitors. Didn’t detract from my stay at all, just wish I had had spray on hand to deal with them quickly.

Staff were fantastic, excellent breakfasts, beautiful pool and very comfortable bed.
