This was honestly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—they were funny, thoughtful, and just genuinely lovely people who made our stay so much fun. We had such a great time that we even decided to extend our stay! A huge shoutout to Randy and Deri, the reps who organized activities and got everyone talking to each other. Thanks to them, we made some amazing friends—including them! The whole team was so kind, polite, and always willing to help with anything we needed. If you're looking for a hostel with great vibes, social events, and the friendliest staff, this is the place to be. I’d 100% stay here again!

There’s not much around the hostel but you can rent scooters right next door and taxis are available so not really a problem.

The facilities of the place are amazing: a pool, an ice bath, a sauna, and an open gym, all set against one of the most beautiful views on the island. There’s no doubt that in terms of value for money, they excelled. The dorm rooms are comfortable, and the shower is spacious.

‏, I believe that a hotel that is part of a global network with a good reputation shouldn’t pass on costs to customers by charging an additional 2% for credit card payments. ‏Additionally, there’s no doubt I would have bought a lot more drinks at the bar if the prices were a bit lower and not significantly more expensive than the rest of the island.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful if you need them. They drove with their motorbike one of my friend to a restaurant which found her camera (she lost it earlier in the day). The hostel just opened 3/4 weeks ago, so everything is brand new like the sauna, cold bath and the little outside gym (everything you need to train). From the restaurant and swimming pool, you have a nice view on the ocean and the city. I would recommend to rent a scooter to stay there as the hostel is on the top of a hill. Therefore, you will need it to enjoy the 2 islands (lembongan and Ceningan are linked by the yellow bridge which is fun to drive on).

Since the hostel is brand new, some little things have to be fixed in order to be perfect (like the door of one dormitory which was very noisy to close). The price of the breakfast and beer at the restaurant are a little bit too high compared to other place in the island, I would recommend the staff to change it as it will probably the best seller food & drink of the bar. Coffee/Tea/Soft drinks are same price than anywhere else on the island.

The food was better to be expected at the resterant/bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were exceptional. Special mention to Randi and Dery the events/promotor boys at the bar each night, who organise all the events and keep the party going. They speak good English and are good at getting people together and making time for everyone. Another special thanks to Ed at reception and his brother Ipoyaa who are both lovely and helped out with a few incidents in and out of the hostel exceptionally well!

Mad Monkey Lembongan was a great stay. The private bungalows were comfortable and clean. The gym, sauna and ice bath were a nice touch and the pool area and views were awesome to relax around. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Derry Aska who made the nights at the bar one to remember! He knows how to get the party started and created good vibes around everyone around him. Definitely recommend Mad Monkey Lembongan and will be back to stay again soon!

stayed just a few nights here as my first time in nusa lembongan and honestly ill be back as soon as possible most amazing view from the pool area over looking famous surf spots, also comfy rooms aswell with good toilet facilities awesome staff especially randi and dery who i consider good mates now they helped out alot and created a fun environment for all guests especially the night life activities such as beer pong ps (they suck )

This is a really nice hostel where the food is good and they have great facilities (pool, ice bath, workout area). There’s also social activities every evening so it’s easy to make friends. The staff is also really friendly, especially B and Randi who we played a lot of card games with. We highly recommend this hostel🥰

In the middle of nowhere, cannot get to town area easily unless you make friends with taxi or hire a moped. Nowhere convenient to walk too unless you want to walk up or down a long steep hill.

We just had the best time at mad monkeys. Nice rooms, amazing view at the pool/chill area. Prices for food/Drinks were totally fine. But the best thing about this whole stay were Randy & Derry, these two boys are beyond amazing. We already miss them, they made every day so special we had so much fun with them 🥹

Actually everything was great! The location, the rooms, the pool and especially the staff! The guys were so great and it was a lot of fun to party with them. Especially Dery was so nice and we had a lot of fun playing beerpong and chilling at the pool playing the guitar. 10/10 ⭐️
