All the staff at rahayu cottage are soooooooo lovely and helpful. The place is simple, it’s cosy, it’s pretty, it’s such great value for money, you have your own bedroom, drinking water is provided, Wi-Fi connection is good, aircon, & you can rent a good quality scooter at a low price. truly for the price you are paying, you really have everything you need and more 🥰 the cottage was my home for 12 days 🙈💗✨ ** also cutest little cat family living here too 😁💗🌈💕🐱

The shower water is a bit salty so it was a bit difficult to wash my hair 🙈 this didn’t bother me much tho because I’d rinse off at the beaches anyway 🤷‍♀️

Room was big size with all facilities including refrigerator (which I felt was missing in other places that I stayed in Indonesia). Bathroom was clean & big with all toiletries & towel given. Staff is a cute couple who will help you book bikes and guide about various beaches to visit at Nusa penida. Samplang harbor is 10-15 mins walking so booking your ferry to Gili islands or back to bali is very easy. Super markets & eateries are within 600 mts radius. It's a slight hike up towards penida hills so view is also good from the cottage.

Smell of water in bathroom wasn't pleasant. But thats everywhere in Nusa penida is what I came to know. No food or beers available right at the cottages though they have good reception area to sit & enjoy. Maybe they can add option of keeping beer, cold water and basic food items or snacks. Also, the nearby beach isn't good for swimming but when one is in Nusa penida one focuses on taking a bike then exploring other beautiful beaches suitable for swimming.

It was good value for the money. There's filtered water fountain in the room, nice AC, you can make yourself a tea or a toast as there's a kettle and a toaster in the room. Hot shower. You can rent a bike there. The owners were very lovely people.

Salt water in the bathroom. I don't recommend washing your hair with a shampoo bar. If you're ok with riding a bike or using a taxi service it's a great spot, if not, there's not much to do in the area and not very good beaches.

You can tell that a whole lotta love has been put into this place. The family who run it are really welcoming and kind. I stayed for a couple of weeks and in that time I found them to always be kind and keep the facilities clean and beautiful. Scooter rental is available and I found the scooter in good condition (very new!) And well maintained. I did find that really you needed a scooter for this area as everything is a little ways away but it's a great part of the island to stay in. Room was very clean and comfortable and I was able to work remotely using the wifi which kept up with my video calling and meetings pretty well with just a few drop outs excellent stay and I definitely recommended it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy and clean beds with great AC. Nice outdoor shower area. Beautiful garden and scenery. Close to the port. Good price on renting bikes. We used to the bikes to explore west and east penida on a budget and without being tied to any tours. We left early to avoid the crowds and it was brilliant. Near loads of food places, we loved the fried chicken Warung at the bottom on the road.

very nice looking property, and the open top shower was very cool. staff helped with getting a moped and with the ferry back to bali. there was also free water in the room, which is a bonus. the location was in a quiet place but still easily accessible to the port and most of the island.

the A/C wasn’t very strong and the power in the place kept cutting out across our short stay. the shower was salty like sea water, maybe.

Really nice little place. The hosts took care of us from start to depart. Room is nice and comfy. Interesting bathroom with half open ceiling in the shower! Love the idea! Nice little place outside the room where you can sit and relax. Rooms are equipped with enough furniture to put your belongings and also a dry hanger for your swimwear. Nice beds. In the room you have a tank of fresh water so you can refill your bottles and whenever you want to enjoy your tea from the electric kettle. Nothing really to complain about. Quiet area. You can also rent bikes here for a really good price too get around! You can also ask the staff for help to book tickets for boats and such! Thank you for all your help and kindness! We really enjoyed staying here!

This was a very well sorted comfortable stay for us by the host, the room was filled with all necessary items like a water jar, coffee sachets, electric kettle and even hair dryer which is very thoughtful. The property is situated very close to sambalan port, and 15 mins walk away from it. Rental scooty and taxis are available at the stay.

Not sure it was the owner or a staff, they made us wait to provide us the room which we had booked as they were not sure the kind of room booked through Booking.com or coz he had to check with someone else before allotting the room.

I am very happy to live here, the place is comfortable, the facilities are complete, Rahayu Cottage has 3 types of rooms, there are low, medium and high for the price, I booked a room type with a high price, but it is commensurate with the facilities in the room, there is a refrigerator, coffee equipment , there is large drinking water, during my stay here, I don't think about drinking water, because it can be replaced at no cost, the place is in the city, the position is in the middle, there is also motorbike rental in Poparti at affordable prices, the staff is very helpful, the wifi is very good , I recommend those who want to stay at Nusa Penida, I will come here again. Nice place to stay in Nusa Penida, short walk to shops, restaurants and the port. We had a great time there, they allowed us to early check-in so we could really enjoy our time in Nusa Penida. Comfy and quiet room with nice bathroom.

They had no information about the island so we had to go to the town to ask for it, no big deal, just keep it in mind if you expect to take tours.
