The location of house, the house as a whole, the breakfast, the surroundings of the house and the kindness of the lovely owner and his staff.

I recommend the owner put a chimney on the water boiler. Right now the outlet is just beneath the roof, what might be a risk for carbon monoxide poisoning. I also recommend the owner to put a water lock on the water cabinets. The sewerage smell did go strait into the bathroom. It are just two small improvement that may make a big difference.

We had a very warm welcome from our host - the cold towel and drink was oh so thoughtful! The room was exactly as in photos, and was very cosy and clean. Plenty of space for storage of bags. And many seating options, in the main sitting area (our favourite place to view the sunset), by the pool, outside the rooms (nice and shady), and on the front porch. It was nice to have a place to sit down to do my make up. The outdoor shower was also lovely. Toiletries, towels are provided. Our host was so lovely to pick up our dinner, and lunch from the local warung. He was also helped us organise a taxi to the port. Bintangs are available for sale at the property. Aircon and wifi worked very well. Breakfast was HUGE! I had the scrambled eggs, and my partner the mie goreng, and portions were massive compared to many other breakfasts in Indonesia. The property also provides drinking water in the room - which was amazing!! The pool was nice and clean, very refreshing dip! The property is very well maintained, and the flower gardens are so so beautiful.

The locations is on top of a hill, which offers great sunset views, however, it is a fair walk to access shops. Consider renting a scooter for comfort. The toilet seat was not upto standard, and should be replaced.

We loved everything at the property. When you arrive we were greeted the second we stepped out of the taxi, welcomed with a cold towel and a drink. Lalu the host was so lovely to speak with, also very helpful and always there to help. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily. Breakfast was delicious. If you need a scooter or laundry they will also arrange for you. The rooms also are fitted with a fridge, water and a kettle. I feel like all our needs were met with this stay. 10/10

Not so much dislike, but it’s situated on a hill, so if you rent a scooter it’s nice and close to town, if not then it’s 20 minute walk back up a hill. But If you ask I’m sure someone will drive you down or arrange a taxi for you.

First of all location is just amazing. You are close to everything but also in the middle of the nature. We got fridge, hot water and cold water in the room and rooms were extremely clean. Last things, breakfast was really delicious and sunsets made us super happy. Just one more thing I need to underline that staffs were super kind, smiling all the time and helped us for everything. Thanks a lot guys!

An excellent stay! I liked the remote location away from the noise, but still easily accessible by scooter or car on a fully tarred road. The pool is well located, with beautiful views especially during sunset. The room was comfortable, clean and cool with the aircon on. The owner is helpful and kind. One of the best value for money places I have ever stayed. Will make this my go to place whenever I am on Penida.

Pendia Hills is an amazing accomodation for anyone spending a few days on Nusa Penida. The pictures here on booking are very accurate and our room and bed was very comfortable. The location is very close to everything, but a scooter is 100% recommended. Try to arrange a taxi service when arriving since it is up on the hill, so walking with luggages is very hard. The breakfast with the view was superb. The whole staff was very kind and helpful throughout the stay. They helped us with booking a snorkeling trip, speed boat to Gili and also could provide scooter. The prices were very fair, it would be pretty hard to negotiate the same deals for yourself.

this place is absolutely incredible! the rooms are enormous and come with fridge, tv & air con. beds are huge and insanely comfortable. shower is outdoors so you can look at the stars. it’s set well away from the chaos of the man road, so very very peaceful at night (having a scooter helps). the breakfasts are the best I’ve had in over 8 months of travel (mie goreng was the best!). the absolute highlight were the very kind staff - always smiling and helpful. would love to return one day.

Set up in the hills, just 5 minutes by scooter from the main road. Beautiful peaceful surroundings and views from the property. Great place for peace and quiet and acts as the perfect base to go off and explore the BEAUTIFUL island from. Room was like new, very clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the sunset over the hills! The guys are all so friendly and helpful, always smiling. They will help you to rent a scooter, book a snorkel trip, arrange tickets for your return boat. As a solo female traveller I can’t thank them enough :-) Worth noting that Wi-Fi isn’t great but that’s the same for the entire island, so take a digital detox and enjoy the nature instead ;-)

Really lovely place, quiet and with an amazing view. The owner is so friendly, they came to pick us up from the nearby port free of charge. The place itself is 20/30 min walking from the main road, although it’s up and downhill and no light during the night. You can rent a scooter and move around freely. Our room was next to the road but during the day you can only hear few bikes going up and down, during the night was pretty quiet. Breakfast was included and everyday they made our fresh eggs and pancakes. They are just so nice that make you want to stay there forever. They are planning to open the swimming pool which it will make this place even better. We’ll be back 😃

The place is well located, the room was perfect for two persons with the beautiful bathroom outside, the breakfast included was so nice and tasty, they have transfer service and some other activities that you can reserve there. Even though we had some personal problems during our stay, the staff was really helpful and kind with us, thanks and hope to see you soon again!

I thing there was a bird building a net inside the roof and it was a bit annoying and noisy at night
