We loved our stay here. Bungalows are very comfortable and spacious, bathroom is modern. The rooms are cleaned daily and are generally in good condition. There is tasty breakfast on request. The view is the best part: when it's clear you get to see Mount Agung and the ocean. The property is located on a hill and you will need a motorbike to get to restaurants, shops and everything else but you will generally need one to explore the island anyway.

It’s located on the mountain which is nice and quiet. The beds was comfortable, view was nice and we were able to rent a scooter upon arriving from the accomodation which was perfect so we didn’t have to hassle for a fair price with any taxi’s.

The bathroom could’ve been a bit more clean. The mirror was dirty, and the shower could also get a nice good rinse. That being said, It wouldn’t stop me from booking it again if I were to search a great low budget place to stay at.

This is one of the best accommodations I have ever been to: the location is stunning, there is a beautiful view of the sea and mount Agung from the balcony of your house, where you can have breakfast. The cottages are very beautiful and surrounded by nature. It's very quiet at night, which is rare in such fairly touristy places. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed and towels arranged in a very nice way with flowers when I arrived. The staff were really nice and super helpful: they got a scooter for me, arranged my laundry to be washed, they arranged a snorkeling tour and arranged my transport to and from the harbour with a very lovely driver. The breakfast was delicious and could be arranged at a time that suited me. The location is about 5-10 minutes drive from the main street, which can be done easily by anyone with scooter experience. If you don't have scooter experience this may not be the place to start because the hill is a bit steep, but the road is in good condition and there is no traffic. I actually found it quite relaxing to drive back home through these quiet roads. It's also fine to drive back here in the dark, just a bit slower. I had a wonderful time here and wish I could have stayed longer. Terima kasih banyak Hotra Hill!

There was a spider on the bed on my arrival day. This is the risk of staying in such a natural environment I suppose and there are no dangerous insects here, but if you are a bit scared of spiders be aware the cottages are made of wood and insects can get in easily. The staff removed the spider for me immediately and there is a mosquito net that you can use at night to sleep more soundly.

Very good and quiet place to stay in Nusa Penida. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with everything. They helped us a lot with transportation around the island. The breakfast is really good and tasty and the place is beautiful. The room has a good size and the bathroom too. Very happy to stayed here and I totally recommend it.

Is 15 minutes driving from the center or busy street with restaurants but with scooter is nothing.

We had a beautiful stay with the most friendly staff ever! Everyone was very kind and happy to help accommodate us as well as drive me around the islands on the scooters. I can’t recommend these guys enough. They’re the nicest people ever and the location was perfect because we wanted a peaceful stay and Hotra Hill wasn’t far from restaurants and activities but didn’t have constant traffic either. The cottage itself was cozy and pretty with stray cats and dogs around the property.

The location is very remote in the hills. In case you have to access the beach, restaurants or shops you need to drive down for 15 mins. You can't walk as it's steep hilly roads. You have to rent your own scooter or get a driver to drive you around.

We LOVED it! The cottage we stayed in was incredibly cute, clean and comfortable and while only 10 minutes away from the main road by scooter, it was very peaceful. The staff was extremely helpful, they arranged scooter rental, laundry washing and transfer to the port for us without any issues and in very affordable prices. They were so nice that they offered us to switch to a cottage with a better view once the tenants there left. Absolutely would stay there again if I'm ever back in nusa penida.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the most enchanting accommodation I've ever encountered. From the moment I set foot in this tranquil oasis, I was absolutely captivated. Every aspect of this stay, from the beautiful apartment to the accommodating staff and scrumptious breakfast, exceeded my wildest expectations!

Very friendly hosts, cozy room, exceptionally great view. There's a water heater and free coffee and tea. Value for the price is really great. I liked that there were big cupboards with keys.

The place is 10 minutes by motorbike from everything. So you'll be in a bit of nowhere. If you drive home late you'll have to wake up the half jungle. I would have loved a small fridge.

Is a perfect place to stay in Nussa Penida. All was good. Clean place, good views.... So perfect if you want relax and calm Note. please give food everyday to the small grey cat which always is around the garden. 🙀 ❤️ 🙏
