The rooms are kind of small but the rest was very good: the location, the outside area, the people working there. We really enjoyed staying at Ancala and would stay there every time we go to Uluwatu

The property is a little out of the main tourist place so it was nice and quiet. The pool was such a nice temperature and you could see gorgeous sunsets from there at night across the ocean. The room and bed were comfortable. Shower and toilet were in the same area but we were fine with that. Staff were super friendly and helped us with anything we asked for and there are some super cute animals on the property. The accommodation is also very close to Uluwatu Temple which is nice for a quick trip to see the sunset.

Only thing would be it is quite a far walk from the main restaurant and tourist area but if you have a motorbike or can order a Grab/Gojek, you’ll be ok.

This accommodation is in a beautiful location and the staff were nice, just not very professional when it came to meeting our needs as guests!

Our room was missing certain essentials, like a bath towel and the shower barely worked. It would also be great if the accommodation served food, as this was hard to find in the area.

I loved this place. The staff were super friendly, and the room was small but comfortable and best of all you can see the ocean from your bed! The views from the property were stunning, and I really enjoyed the quiet location that was still walkable to a few essentials (and you can walk down to the temple). The A/C worked great and the wifi speed was in the 20s. It felt like a peaceful and happy place.

The only thing that really comes to mind is that my room could have used a deep cleaning. The basics were clean (sheets, walking surfaces) but there was a giant cobweb near the ceiling, lots of dust under the bed, and plenty of mildew in the bathroom that a little bleach could make quick work of.

Location if you have a scooter, most comfortable bed ever, good swimming pool, very quiet and good people around. For me room was perfectly decorated and I truly enjoyed being there. Good water pressure. Good ac in room 3.

If you have remote work like I do, WiFi connection is not good enough. It can work perfectly well and one minute (usually the most crucial one) the WiFi is off. And the cell signal is weak for mobile hot spot. There are plenty of places around with WiFi but sometimes you want to be at your quiet place. Also no cafe or restaurant at the place. But there is a kitchen with all kitchen ware, fridge and water cooler. No problem at all if you have scooter, but walking is a little complicated since there are no pedestrian walks. Small room. Only 3 plugs in the number and far away from the bed.

Simple and cozy room with good value. They were flexible for us to take a shower after the checkout before heading to the airport.

The views were really good. You can watch the sunset from the pool and gardens. The staff members were very friendly. We walked 35 minutes in the morning for breakfast. That might not be for everyone as it is uphill to get back. The accommodation is in a quiet spot away from busy roads. If we wanted new towels we only had to ask.

The rooms are small. Bathroom is very small and the shower is next to the toilet.

Great location, tranquil environment and by scooter many activities and places are close by including the amazing Uluwatu beaches like Dreamland. Also, amazing service from the staff, they lend me their personal iPhone charger as I forgot my own for the night.

Since there’s a lot of nature in the surroundings, there are few insects in the room like ants and centipedes. The room was very clean, but it cannot be helped. Also, my bathroom door handle broke, which was caused by the jammer door. I did not have time to inform reception, I hope they fixed it by now.

Wow, where should I start? The room was actually really nice and they even had a tv with Netflix on there which was a proper luxury treat. Bed was really comfortable and aircon was not too close to the bed either. Bathroom was small but the water pressure and temperature were great. We once had an issue with the sink and the staff fixed it immediately. Really trustworthy amazing, outgoing staff and everyone so friendly. Pool was really clean and great temperature and the sunset views were out of this world. They had great deck chairs too. They put some really cute flower decorations as part of our honeymoon for us and provided us with some really sweet snacks. The hospitality was out of this world. Location was walking distance to some local warungs and supermarkets however in a really quiet area, so just be aware. Very easy to get taxis from there though.

The sink was not too user-friendly and very low and narrow. It would be great if you could provide additional deck chairs for other people to relax on and some sum umbrellas too. Unfortunately we had quite the big ant problem on the balcony and initially the staff sprayed some stuff onto the ants nest which initially helped however we had a reoccurring ant problem inside our room which was a bit frustrating and there was nothing we could do about it. Also there was a lizard in our room for days which was a bit scary but that's just the nature of an accommodation like this. Overall would highly recommend though.

We loved our stay here. Beautiful view with a lovely sunset every afternoon. Felt like we had a private pool, and still the chats with some of the other people who stayed there. Nice and clean room, all facilities needed were available. We rented a scooter which we definitely would recommend seen the location, everything is really nearby with the scooter! At least two nice breakfast places you can walk to. The staff was really friendly and always available for help and questions. If you look for a bit more privacy, a beautiful view close to beaches (10 min scooter) and the centre. We would for sure recommend this stay!
