We absolutely loved our stay in Uluwatu! This was hands down our favorite hotel during our entire trip through Indonesia. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and welcoming. The rooms were super clean, the pool was perfect for relaxing, and the location was excellent – close to everything we needed. What really made the stay special was the warm and open vibe from both the staff and the owner. Everyone was so kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. A special mention goes to the cutest golden retriever who lives there – such a sweet and well-behaved good boy! He made our stay even more memorable. We also appreciated the option to rent scooters directly from the hotel, which made exploring the area super easy. All in all, just a fantastic experience – we’d definitely come back!

Staff and owner were lovely and of course their beautiful dog Pacu who welcomed us each morning at breakfast. We had a villa with private pool and it was even nicer than the the photos in my opinion. Bar area where they serve breakfast was very cute. In a quiet area away from crazy main street which we liked but very short scooter taxi there or can walk if feeling adventurous. The warm and friendly staff gave us great recommendations during our stay, they were very attentive and took great care of us and made our stay very memorable. Thank you so much!

The property is absolutely stunning. My room faced the pool, which was a very nice view to wake up to. The outdoor shower is such a special touch for the whole Bali experience, especially from NYC! The owner and his girlfriend were super friendly and very helpful. The staff was so warm and welcoming, very willing to go that extra mile for your comfort. The distance to the central area where shops, cafes, restaurants, and Thomas beach is a short scooter ride (about 7-10 minutes), so you're close to everything, yet in a nice quiet area.

I had an incredible stay at this charming place! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warmth and attentiveness. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and had all the amenities we needed. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax, while the lush gardens and pool area were like a little paradise. The location was also ideal, close to some popular spots yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for an amazing experience in Bali! We rented a scooter to get around which was perfect. A big thank you to Niko and his team, you are the best!

We had a very beautiful and relaxing stay in Uluwatu at La Kreyiol! We received an Uluwatu guidebook with great tips before arrival and there was a driver available to bring us to La Kreyiol from the airport. Scooters were available to rent on the spot for a good price, run by locals (nice concept from the owner Niko). The hotel is located at a quiet spot away from the crowd, but at the same time it is very easy to reach all the beaches and the main street. Also, the outside shower is very nice and the room is spacious and cleaned everyday. Niko was an amazing and kind host that really cared for his guests and made sure that we had a great stay. We had a small problem with the room and he took great care of it immediately and made sure that it was fixed. We were really happy with this personal care, and this in combination with the above makes that we would recommend this place to all our friends and family!

This was my best stay on Bali – I only wish it had been longer! The owner was absolutely wonderful and gave me such a warm and friendly welcome. I really appreciated the free beers – such a thoughtful gesture! The staff were amazing – so kind, open, and always ready to help. Special greetings to Nonaa – you made my stay even more special! The whole place felt like home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

What didn’t I like? Honestly, just one thing – that my stay was too short. That’s what I regret the most!

Beautiful little complex with few detached rooms around the pool and few new villas with private swimming pools. There is a kitchen when breakfast is served and where you gather in the evening with other people to have a beer or two. Very welcoming, , homely atmosphere. Owner is very friendly as well. He upgraded us to a villa and it was soo good! Breakfasts are basic but nice and made in front of you. Very nice freshly made smoothies with local fruit. Very quiet location.

We loved our Villa, it was so spacious and comfortable. The pool was amazing both in our villa and out in the common. The gardens were beautiful too. Owner Niko and his staff Nyunga, Noona and Badi were the most gracious hosts, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. They gave great recommendations, advice on beaches and travel routes and even entertained us at the bar one night. Thanks so much guys we will be back!

La Kreyiol is a hidden gem — perfectly located just a short walk from great bars and cafés, yet tucked away in a quiet corner for peaceful sleep. I was lucky to be upgraded to a spacious 1-bedroom villa, which was clean, stylish, and super comfortable. What truly sets this place apart is Niko, the amazing host. He’s warm, full of great stories, and even created an incredibly helpful Uluwatu guide for guests packed with local tips. This isn’t just a stay — it’s a full experience. Highly recommended!

This place is a great find in Uluwatu. The place is really quiet, simply decorated, and a really good base for exploring southern Bali. Niko, Ninga and team are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet, incredibly genuine and their only aim is to make sure their guests have a good time and feel like family. The team give some excellent recommendations of the local area. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Overall, perfect location for younger people to be based out of for their time in Ulu!
