A wonderful place in a great location. Our room was excellent, just a few metres away from the stunning pool area. It was very clean with everything we needed and the bed especially, was very comfortable. The restaurant area overlooking the pool was lovely and the food was exceptional served by the most beautiful people I’ve come across. The place is amazing but what makes it wonderful is the staff. Every single one without exception was so lovely and genuinely friendly. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect.

The hotel was in a fantastic location—many restaurants, cafes, bars, and beaches were all within walking distance. The ambiance and design of the hotel were truly impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. When we first arrived, they shared a very comprehensive list via WhatsApp of things to do in Uluwatu—it had everything you could ask for, and all the recommendations turned out to be excellent. We stayed for two nights, but it definitely made us wish we had stayed a couple more. If we ever come back to Bali, we will definitely stay here again.

This property was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise! Designed in Japandi style, it's very stylish, modern and fresh. The staff were incredibly attentive - loved the personalised WhatsApp messages with local recommendations, handy menu access, and personal messages from the general manager when the power went off. Breakfast was delicious. All in all an great stay and value for money! Recommend!

Not big enough to deduce any points for this but think the shower needs a redesign as some nasty smells are coming up from under the wooden boards. And would appreciate a touch of extra protein options at breakfast - maybe something with chicken, beans, or yoghurt. The noise wasn't an issue for us, but you can hear distant music from local bars at night.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, the pool area is lovely and the rooms are specious, the shower was incredible, the best out of 8 hotels we stayed in on our travels in Bali. Great location, close to plenty of restaurants and bars. But it’s the breakfast that deserves a special mention, it was delicious every morning. Plenty of choice and so very tasty. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and I’ve got to say we would definitely stay at this hotel again if we came to Uluwatu. It wasn’t an issue for us but one thing to mention is if you’re staying over the weekend there is a club near by and we could hear the music but we were also out in that club one night so definitely wasn’t an issue for us, just something to consider.

Absolutely nothing

The garden feels like a little oasis, and spending time by the pool is truly enjoyable. The rooms are designed with a unique cultural touch — the one we stayed in even had a private little pool and our own veranda to relax on. Breakfast is amazing; they really listen to your preferences and try to accommodate everything you ask for. And of course, the location is perfect — everything is within easy reach. As a bonus, Spring Spa is right next door, and since we stayed at Ikigai, we even got a discount! (:

The management is really kind, nothing to mention.

The location is fantastic (close to several amazing restaurants and Ulu Cliffhouse.) The breakfast is also amazing, as was the coffee. The staff were also super friendly and provided me a personal WhatsApp group for any requests that I had. They also found me a great laundry service and one day I was feeling unwell and they offered to call a Doctor for me and brought my breakfast into my room. The decor is also lovely. Super minimalist and Japanese inspired- you really feel so relaxed staying here and I would happily stay again. Loved my time at IKIGAI and can’t recommend it enough.

My only request is that they need a full length mirror! The one above the basin isn’t long enough..

Had such an incredible stay, the rooms, staff and daily breakfast were all amazing and the place feels like a little slice of paradise. The breakfasts were a particular highlight, and everything was so fresh and changes were easily accommodated. Everyday we were blown away by the service of the staff, who we couldn’t fault even if we tried. We also couldn’t hear any traffic/noise from our room at night at all and it truly felt like a slice of paradise, besides on a Friday night, however the provided ear plugs helped a lot.

We were without power and water for maybe 9-10 hours one day, however this was out of the hotels control as there was a massive storm the night before resulting in outages across Uluwatu. The hotel organised a generator to be rented to get power and water back within the same day and also offered to pay for us to shower at the day spa next door. There was still plenty of drinking water available though. Ultimately not pleasant having no water/power but not the hotels fault at all.

The staff were very welcoming and nice. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and surprised my partner for her birthday with a little cake and decorated the room. This was not organised, I simply advised them I needed transport for my partners birthday and they took it on themselves to do something special on their end. We were also amazed by the communication and how easy the check in and check out was. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Uluwatu. Location is in unbelievable with amazing restaurants and beach’s within walking distance. The staff sent a list of recommended restaurants and beaches etc. We tried several of these restaurants and they were unbelievable. Check out Uluwatu Cliff House for some of the best views in Bali. (This is the Finn’s of Uluwatu) I would also recommend eating at Kubu for the best sushi dishes and great atmosphere.

love their a la carte breakfast, very tasty. Comes with fruit juice or fruit platter also. The pool is small but nice. The hotel is right next to the famous spa chain Spring Spa. It caught me by surprise when I saw it is so close to the hotel. Literally next door. Immediately walk in to get my nails done after I drop off the luaggaes after I check in. Not related to the hotel : The nearby has another hotel with Yoga studio named Yoga Searcher , which you can walk in for yoga class at their property. I highly recommend to go for their yoga classes. Not expensive . Also Offer free coconut drink after class too.

Is a small hotel , I think just below ten units. Our room is the closest to the main street. Very very noisy at night when nearby restaurants play loud music. If you are a late night owl is okay , usually music starts to go quieter after midnight. I would not say the place is highly secured. They give us keys to enter our room, with wood frame glass door . And only 1 security guard at the front door. If he happens to not around, pretty much anyone can go inside the property.

Such a sanctuary! The location is amazing, walking distance to so many shops, markets, bars, beach clubs and restaurants. The staff were a true highlight as well, helped us with everything and were so kind offering us to enjoy the pool, bar, showers after we’d checked o it and had to wait for the rest of the day for our driver to the airport. The 12pm check out is also fabulous! Such a relaxing and beautiful setting and comfortable, well designed rooms.

Nothing - only thing was there was a bit of noise the night we stayed but this could be as it was a Saturday night.
