Asa Maia was just the best, wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was fantastic (and the coffee, whoa…). Fresh, locally spiced, and delicious! The perfect start to morning before going adventuring. Hotel arranged a motorbike rental for us which was a breeze. The staff were all amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fabulous (thanks to Sandy especially!). Included Yoga was nice and the instructors were experienced and skilled. Cold/Hot plunge pools were the highlight of our stay, and the grounds were immaculately maintained. Modern yet traditional blended perfectly.

Some ambient noise at night from surrounding villas, but nothing the provided earplugs didn’t take care of. Really a non-issue considering the comfortable and traditional Balinese construction of the stand-alone suites.

Absolutely Magical! Where do I even begin? My stay at The Asa Maia in Uluwatu was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, my partner and I were embraced by the warmth and genuine hospitality of the incredible staff, who made me feel like part of their family. Every interaction was thoughtful, personal, and effortless, from breakfast by the poolside, to contrast therapy with the amazing teacher Daniela in the mornings. The facilities are five-star in every sense. The design is elegant yet grounded in nature, with every detail carefully curated to create an atmosphere of peace, luxury, and authenticity. The spa, the pool, the yoga shala, the sauna, everything is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and just so serene. We arrived as guests, but left as friends. Second time staying at this beautiful property. Easily one of the most serene and stunning properties in Bingin! The food is healthy and yet delicious, the staff are warm and kind, and the location is excellent.

The aircon in our room stopped working on the day before we checked out - there was a bit of a communication issue and we were in limbo for a couple hours without a resolution but eventually we were moved to another room. Due to the layout of the bathroom in the second room, the whole bathroom floor got wet when you showered. Neither of these were huge issues and I only mention them because of the price of rooms.

What stood out most was the seamless integration of natural surroundings with the resort's architecture and amenities. The use of sustainable materials and the emphasis on preserving the natural beauty of the area did not go unnoticed and are highly commendable. I am genuinely appreciative of the dedication and passion evident in every aspect of your resort. It is clear that great care has been taken to create a sanctuary that respects tradition while providing modern comforts.

Wifi didnt work in room

The Asa Maia exceeded our expectations, everything was perfect. We loved the facilities, including the classes and contrast therapy by Daniela, the pool and plunge pools, sauna and gym. The signature massage at the spa is one of, if not, the best we had in Bali. The food and drinks are also amazing, very clean and feels healthy, whilst being absolutely delicious. The rooms are also amazing, not only do they look great, the room was very private and clean. Last but not least, the staff is great; they are extremely friendly and focused to ensure the stay is flawless. A special shoutout to the security guards who offer the buggy service to bring you to nearby restaurants and places throughout the entire day.

It was my first solo trip on my birthday. I’ve always celebrated surrounded by loved ones and friends, but this year, I felt a deep calling to do things differently. To celebrate with myself. So I treated myself to a stay at this beautiful sanctuary - and it exceeded all my expectations. The facilities are exceptional, the atmosphere is unlike anything I’ve experienced. Every detail is infused with intention, health, and wellness. What makes it even more special is the sense of community. With only 10 rooms, you quickly connect with fellow travelers - especially after the first morning contrast therapy session! It’s intimate, soulful, and truly rejuvenating. I can't recommend Asa Maia enough - whether you're seeking a solo escape, a romantic retreat, or a meaningful reunion with friends. Already missing this gem!

Incredible property offering too class facilities and service. The breakfast choice was extensive, I struggled to choose each day because everything was so good. Amazing facilities; including yoga classes, beautiful pool and gym, sauna and both got and cold plunge pools. Out of this world bedding.

This is my second time staying here and I love it and will return again. It is a beautiful space to return to wellness and health with the yoga, cold and hot lunge pools and healthy food. Asa Maia works hard to live by its sustainability ethic, locally sourced food, organic, natural products etc. The yoga teachers are amazing and Daniella is just wonderful I hope to cross paths with her again when I return next year.

There is so much building and development going on in Uluwatu, was really hard to watch the forests being cut down and to see nature be so displaced. Building noise is constant as is the noise at night, they do give your earplugs which is great.

The hotel facilities and staff were fantastic! We also took part in the yoga and contrast therapy sessions which were a great experience. The breakfast and on-site dining was also very good and the food was lovely. We stayed here after visiting Ubud and Seminyak which was a lovely way to end our holiday and unwind. We also had some massages and body scrubs which were very good. The hotel is only a short walk from the main road which had lots of nice shops and places eat. Would definitely return again in the future for a longer stay!
