Villa was beautiful, comfortable and staff very friendly - drive you to beach if you want. Everything we wanted. Nice being on the edge of a village. Peaceful.

There’s still construction work going on! Place is not finished. There was a site full of building materials next to our place which was unsightly and occasionally noisy. Swimming pool also didn’t seem “finished”. Algae on walls, swim up bar closed because of a pool leak, now dusty and dirty. All felt quite home made. Very different standard from the beautiful villas. Breakfast was repetitive after a few days, could have more choice.

Tropik Resort offers a lot of great and luxurious villa’s. We stayed in Villa V9 Lucas. It was large and very comfortable. Great value for money. We fell in love with this villa for 4 persons. Also the restaurant area is very nice and staff helpful. The area is well maintained with beautiful gardens. We would definitely recommend Tropik Resort and would love to come back to this beautiful place. The hotel offers a transfer to the beach. We made use of that every day. The service was great (just sending a whatsapp and a few minutes later they picked you up).

Massive apartment with a huge pool which we made good use of! The wifi was very reliable (perfect for two digital nomads) and the place was really clean. Staff are super helpful - will keep in contact via watsapp and help out with whatever you need. There is daily housekeeping which means the apartment is always clean. Location is lovely - quiet and but close to the main areas of the town (which admittedly is small). You'll probably need a scooter if you want to go further than Selang Belanak beach, but the main sites are close by (including Kuta which is only 30 minutes away by scooter).

3 teens and I loved the 2 rm bungalow with outside kitchen, full size fridge with mini bar, outside couch, tv. We loved the pool and the gardens and monkeys. Enjoyed the a la carte breakfast that was included. Pickleball and basketball a huge bonus Good price to hire a scooter. Food and drinks at reasonable prices, especially for hotel. Staff were a highlight, absolutely lovely, kind. Very obliging with shuttles to and from beach. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing resort holiday with beach visits for surf. Off the beaten track which we liked but may be too quiet for some.

Daughter didn't love the food menu variety.

Not less than perfect! We had an awesome stay at a Bungalow at Tropik. The Bungalow was spacious, clean and the terrace was amazing. If you need to work you have space inside and outside and enough plugs. The staff was amazing and so so gorgous with our little boy. The big pool was cleaned every day and also a big plus. The breakfast was good and enough for us, also the restaurant is great for dinner. It is just a short drive to the beach where you can surf or learn to surf (we recommend Hary Surf School). So just perfect we even came back for a second week. Thanks to the team of Tropik you are amazing.

Everything was perfect. The bungalow was spotless, so clean and smelt lovely. They have really thought of every little detail and it shows. The beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning is great. The staff are so kind and attentive, always smiling. They organised everything for us from motorbikes to laundry. They really went above and beyond, especially the lovely gentleman in the restaurant who was great to chat to. The included breakfast is great, loved the fresh fruit as well as the variety of menu options. Good coffee too! And the restaurant food is great - we enjoyed everything we ordered. The resort area is absolutely beautiful- so tranquil. Could not recommend more, it is definitely the best place we have stayed on our trip. Thank you to the amazing team for such a great experience.

Great location , short walk to beautiful sandy beach. Villa was very large , 2 double bedrooms, large kitchen and dining area.. lovely outside seating area with jacuzzi and large pool. Nice small kids play area.

Pool was a little green on the tiles and needed a good clean. Lots of chlorine in it. Breakfast was brought to your table , so had plates of fruit , toast and eggs. Would prefer a buffet as with young kids lot of food was left uneaten. Much better to help ourselves.Not a great choice either. Main pool was in need of a good clean, few sunbeds and mostly in the shade.The tennis courts were in need of a repair.

We rented a one bedroom bungalow, which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazing and everything was super clean. The Tropik resort restaurant offers very good food for great value and few times we even ordered our meal on our terrace while our little one was sleeping. All the stuff were very friendly and always ready to help. We had couple of issues which were solved immediately. The free shuttle to and from the beach is a massive bonus and the driver was always available.

The pool was not very inviting to be in, it had lots of leaves and insects floating around, which I guess it's normal as it's covered by many trees, but in that case maybe a more frequent cleaning would make some difference. The pool bar has seats in the water overgrown with moss. We were woken up every morning around 6am by crowing roosters and they were extremely loud. So if you like to sleep in then this accommodation is not for you. We booked the place because we thought that the Selong beach is good for surf, but we ended up driving every day for 20-30 min to other beaches instead. There isn't much around the area to do, but it's great if you just want to relax. A tap to clean the feet at the bungalow would be great for the sandy feet after the beach.

ALL ! First of all the amazing staff, always helping and taking care. The villas are amazing and even better than the pictures. The breakfast was fresh and had big portions. We loved the private cooking class. The list is long, but it's definitely the best resort we booked in Indonesia.

The activities prices are too high. Even if you have a lot of money, you don't see the point of spending extra money for the same tours you can find nearly half the price in town. I'm sure the resort could easily retain and build clients loyalty by proposing activities with fair prices.

This hotel was location a 15 minute walk from the local beach and 5 minutes from a couple of local restaurants. Breakfast was very good, with gluten-free options and a good choice set out by main reception. They also put out bug lights to deter the mozzies. The room was an individual lodge-style, accessed via a few steps, with large outdoor area with table and a sofa, bathroom and comfy beds, fridge, tea, coffee, etc. The pool was huge and circled an island area with plenty of shallow areas for children and deeper bits to swim in.

The pool itself was dirty. I know it was low-season but the water was warm and I didn't like swimming amongst leaves, dirt and dead flies. Plus, the pool seating area was very small.
