Villa was beautiful, comfortable and staff very friendly - drive you to beach if you want. Everything we wanted. Nice being on the edge of a village. Peaceful.

There’s still construction work going on! Place is not finished. There was a site full of building materials next to our place which was unsightly and occasionally noisy. Swimming pool also didn’t seem “finished”. Algae on walls, swim up bar closed because of a pool leak, now dusty and dirty. All felt quite home made. Very different standard from the beautiful villas. Breakfast was repetitive after a few days, could have more choice.

Not less than perfect! We had an awesome stay at a Bungalow at Tropik. The Bungalow was spacious, clean and the terrace was amazing. If you need to work you have space inside and outside and enough plugs. The staff was amazing and so so gorgous with our little boy. The big pool was cleaned every day and also a big plus. The breakfast was good and enough for us, also the restaurant is great for dinner. It is just a short drive to the beach where you can surf or learn to surf (we recommend Hary Surf School). So just perfect we even came back for a second week. Thanks to the team of Tropik you are amazing.

ALL ! First of all the amazing staff, always helping and taking care. The villas are amazing and even better than the pictures. The breakfast was fresh and had big portions. We loved the private cooking class. The list is long, but it's definitely the best resort we booked in Indonesia.

The activities prices are too high. Even if you have a lot of money, you don't see the point of spending extra money for the same tours you can find nearly half the price in town. I'm sure the resort could easily retain and build clients loyalty by proposing activities with fair prices.

We rented a one bedroom bungalow, which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazing and everything was super clean. The Tropik resort restaurant offers very good food for great value and few times we even ordered our meal on our terrace while our little one was sleeping. All the stuff were very friendly and always ready to help. We had couple of issues which were solved immediately. The free shuttle to and from the beach is a massive bonus and the driver was always available.

The pool was not very inviting to be in, it had lots of leaves and insects floating around, which I guess it's normal as it's covered by many trees, but in that case maybe a more frequent cleaning would make some difference. The pool bar has seats in the water overgrown with moss. We were woken up every morning around 6am by crowing roosters and they were extremely loud. So if you like to sleep in then this accommodation is not for you. We booked the place because we thought that the Selong beach is good for surf, but we ended up driving every day for 20-30 min to other beaches instead. There isn't much around the area to do, but it's great if you just want to relax. A tap to clean the feet at the bungalow would be great for the sandy feet after the beach.

This hotel was location a 15 minute walk from the local beach and 5 minutes from a couple of local restaurants. Breakfast was very good, with gluten-free options and a good choice set out by main reception. They also put out bug lights to deter the mozzies. The room was an individual lodge-style, accessed via a few steps, with large outdoor area with table and a sofa, bathroom and comfy beds, fridge, tea, coffee, etc. The pool was huge and circled an island area with plenty of shallow areas for children and deeper bits to swim in.

The pool itself was dirty. I know it was low-season but the water was warm and I didn't like swimming amongst leaves, dirt and dead flies. Plus, the pool seating area was very small.

Big positive is the staff, always nice and willing to help. Shuttle service to the beach is nice. The resort itself is a great place for relaxing, the eating pavilion (breakfast, lunch and dining) is Wonderfull. Food and breakfast is good (but you need to pay a small extra for extra choices for breakfast). Some good dining options in the neighbourhood (+- 1 km) - careful for the traffic on the roads. The villa has drinking water and a good fridge. The terrace and private swimming pool are ok.

We rented a 2 bedroom villa. We needed to contact house keeping a couple of times because of lack of cleanness of bedsheets and towels. Positive, they were almost instantly replaced. The villa itself lacks some maintenance and small things keep popping up. Jacuzzi not working, no thee cups, toiletpaper not replaced, .... But again, once contacted, everything is taken care of in minutes. So a big thumbs up for the staff. The big swimming pool in the resort is not inviting and hardly used. The swimming pool bar is not open. 1 remark for the location. Beach is 1 km from the resort with shuttle service, but you need to travel (long!) for the other main "what to do's'.

Everything! Absolutely the best accommodation we had so far at Lombok! Excellent value and a lot of free activities like Pool table and 1 h of badminton etc.

The location is like 15 min walking from the beach along a pretty busy road. So the walk feels a bit scary during dark hours. Also the breakfast included in the price is not very generous (only toast, jam, juice, coffee). If you want an egg or anything more it costs extra. I think they could have included an egg for free (like other hotels we stayed at). Otherwise the food was very good and especially the juice in the morning. Also the pool could be a little better cleaned. But over all, very very great place! The bungalows are amazing!

The friendly, helpful welcoming was overwhelming. All Staff involved, from the always caring young man, cleaning our room daily, to the Chef in the kitchen and up to the manager always did there very best to make our stay a sweet memory. The spacios, spotless clean, modern bungalows with roomy veranda standing solitary nestled in lush vegetation. We loved the huge Entrance building-restaurant, probably the most beautyful organic building, constracted only in Bamboo, we ever seen! One of our highlights where the magic evening of our Cooking-class, led by our warm and friendly kitchen-Chef. Also, the free avalible shuttle, to and from the Beach was very apricated after a day of Surfing-lessons. On our departure, the Manager, Mr. Hirman arranged all our trip to our next destination in northern Bali, engaged in every step until our arriving. We highly recomend Tropic, even moore during the low season!

The Pool, meandering thro the garden needs a proper cleaning

We stayed in Villa Lucas and it was incredible! It was HUGE! It had 2 beautiful bedrooms with ensuites, the kitchen was lovely and actually included an oven and the outdoor space included a massive private pool and great seating area! The staff went above and beyond to make a cake and buy decorations for my friends birthday which we were celebrating on a boat after we'd check out. I was extremely grateful! Thank you so much!

I wish I could say nothing but we had to extend our stay so moved to another villa and it wasn't to the same standard. Unfortunately it was a bit run down and needed a bit of TLC. Its also worth being aware that it's about a 30 minute drive in Kuta and taxis are expensive so is probably worth hiring a bike or car. There is a great local beach and a few lovely restaurants walking distance though ☺️

The staff is what makes this place exceptional! Originally we booked for 4 nights but extended to 10 days as we really enjoyed our stay here. The bungalows were comfortable and clean and spacious. The restaurant on site was 10/10, some of the best food we had in Asia. The pool was cold, great for hot days. Short walk to the beach or they have a free shuttle service. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. Lots of upgrades going on around the resort so we will definitely be back again.
