Best stay of my five week trip in Indonesia! This place is so fantastic. I was so excited to stay here and it did not disappoint. First of all, the beach is gorgeous and truly swimmable (no rocks, no reef, no sea creatures) and long enough for a nice walk. The staff were all truly warm and happy to help. There are cabanas, loungers and bean bags on the beach with staff available to order from the restaurant and ensure your items are safe. The restaurant is delicious and the included breakfast is enormous. Room service is a breeze and we also used the on site spa for a pedicure and a massage. Our villa was up the hill and we had a fabulous view. It was so nice to relax on the balcony and just take in the beautiful view. The bed was comfortable, the refrigerator was stocked and the bathroom had a nice shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. I took a dip in the pool every time I went up and down the hill and no one was ever there. There are always clean pool towels on each chair so you don’t have to drag them around. The view from the pool overlooking the water and mountains is also fabulous.

I can’t think of a single thing. I would fly back tomorrow!!

Review of the Resort in Lombok, Indonesia During my recent stay in Lombok, I had the pleasure of spending a few days at a resort that was, without a doubt, one of the best I have ever visited. The Location: Nestled in a breathtaking natural setting, the resort overlooks pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters that look like something out of a postcard. The sunsets here are pure magic—an explosion of colors that leave you speechless. The lush vegetation surrounding the property adds to the unique sense of peace and tranquility. The Accommodation: The rooms are a perfect blend of modern luxury and traditional Indonesian charm. Spacious, tastefully furnished, and equipped with every imaginable comfort, they provide the perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The Staff: The true highlight of the resort is its staff. Every team member was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. Every request was met with a smile and quickly fulfilled, making me feel truly pampered. The Food: The cuisine is an extraordinary culinary journey. The resort’s restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, from local specialties made with the freshest ingredients to delicious international meals. Conclusion: This resort in Lombok is not just a place to stay but a dreamlike experience. From the fantastic staff, to the great food at the restaurant, to the beautiful beach and fantastic villa we couldn't ask for more. We stayed in Anak Kayangan villa which is on top of the hill (don't worry they have cars that can come get you and bring you back if you wish) with a pool and fantastic views of the bay. Everything is quiet and comfortable. The set-up of the villa is great with a nice porch to sit on and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The staff is what really sets the resort apart from other beautiful locations. Everyone is kind and smiling. They are always there to help and everything is easy for you while staying here. The meals at the restaurant were plentiful and very tasty. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We travel around the world and visit a lot of places (so many new places to visit), but this is the first place that we intend on returning to next year.

The only thing that didn't work out was the mistake I made leaving my bathing suit hanging outside and one of the monkeys ran off with it while we were down on the beach! We had been warned but I got careless!

Stayed in the Anak Kayangan villa with a pool and is something out of dreams. Immaculate condition, spacious building with outdoor patios, pool deck chairs and lots of extras to ensure we had an efficient stay. Staff were incredibly passionate and welcoming, bonus to have a free buggy service to and from the villa because of its location high up on the hills. Views from both the villa but also beach front were out of this world. Restaurant had a great choice of cuisines, reasonable prices, and all at the edge of the beach. Went during quiet season so almost had this huge stretch of sandy beach to ourselves and catching some waves. Good spa treatments, gym facilities and gift shop on site. Others should experience this resort at some point in their lives because it was worth the travel and cost.

Villa could have had more self catering facilities to heat up food, such as a microwave or stove, as all it had was a sink, kettle and toaster. There otherwise isn’t much else in the neighbouring town to explore so you’re more or less confined to the site, though despite these criticisms it was paradise.

Amazing small resort with super attentive and friendly staff. The villas offer a great deal of privacy, well spaces out, perched on the hill above the most beautiful beach. We felt like there were hardly any other people there despite the fact that it was fully booked. . The pool area was always quiet. The villas are well equipped and should you need anything, the Staff are always happy and on hand to help and deliver. Great and reasonably priced restaurant on the beach. They do very good breakfast and other meals too. The beach club was very enjoyable too, same as spa and a lovely boutique shop with good prices for nice gifts and beach clothes. I'd definitely return to this special place.

We met some cheeky monkeys that made me a little nervous to walk around dusk and dawn when they were active. Made for an exciting adventure for the kids,

The staff in the guest section boyson and his boys made our trip we loved them they looked after us and all.our stuff when on beach etc if u see a beautiful friendly stray he has a collar on but he's a stray he loves pats and people will sit with you for ages I called him rudi he's a great dog his owners left him there someone please adopt him xxx he's so friendly if u fall in love with him.like I did and you live anywhere other than Australia contact jourena at shelter for lombok dogs she can help get him to a loving family he deserves one x

The hike up to the rooms sucked lol. When u go dwn for the day u need to bring everything as u don't want to have to go up dwn the stairs all the time. U can get a car up they will drive u uts just a bit of hassle. But the views from rooms beautiful.

We had an unforgettable stay at Sempiak Seaside Resort. The view from the bungalow is breathtaking, overlooking green hills, a lush valley, the ocean, and even the sunset through the trees—one of the best we’ve ever experienced. It’s quiet, cozy, and incredibly relaxing. The semi-private pool of our bungalow and another shared pool below the bungalow were almost always empty during our stay, adding to the serenity. The in-house restaurant serves fantastic food, amazing breakfast and the private beach area was a highlight, offering ultimate comfort and excellent service. A perfect spot to chill on Selong Belanak Beach—truly hard to leave!

Some areas of the resort felt less well-maintained because the area is just huge. The pool at our bungalow wasn’t as clean as expected, I guess they keep it natural for the animals. Additionally, breakfast options were limited to tea or coffee, with no specialty drinks like cappuccinos. Its still by far the best place at Selong Belanak

I had visited this beach several times but this was my first time staying here and Sempiak was the perfect choice for me. It’s a beautiful boutique beachfront resort set in natural surrounds. I had the smallest room as I booked last minute but it was fine and great value given the location and the generous breakfast included. The restaurant has a great menu and serves really delicious fresh dishes. There was a pool outside my room but I prefer swimming in the sea. Sunloungers and bales on the beach are the spot to totally unwind. Theres a beachside spa too. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I’ve already booked a return with my partner next month.

It is the only villas in the area that has direct access to the beautiful SB beach. The beach is great for beginner and intermediate surfing. We had the kesambi villa which was in our opinion beautifully constructed, tastefully decorated with an infinity pool and a lot of privacy. The villa is very well maintained and extremely clean. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, we thoroughly enjoy our stay here. Restaurant is good. Communication with staff is also excellent, they respond quickly. Great sunset!

Nothing. but we want to comment that Kesambi villa may not be the best for people with mobility problem. Ask the management for recommendation. Our understanding is that they have a range of villas with different features.

The waves are perfect for beginners. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and cared for. We were on our honeymoon and they made it extra special!
