Traditional style bungalows in beautiful gardens, which made you feel like you are not in a city. It was a little bit shabby in some ways but not in any way that would make one feel uncomfortable, or distract from an enjoyable stay. Just a couple of cracked tiles in the pool, or slightly leaky tap. However, the pool is fantastic, huge and saltwater chlorinated so less harsh than normal chlorine. I spent much time in there. The staff were incredible and would go above and beyond. Kindness personified. It was also lovely and quiet. A bit of an oasis really. Admittedly there were no luxuries like room service or big fluffy towels, but if that’s what you’re after, why go to Bali?

the toast with breakfast was not the best, nor was there enough bacon, however the fried rice and noodles were lovely. I was a little concerned about a damaged hairdryer in my room (not electrically sound), but otherwise there was a little to complain about.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful my entire stay. The beautiful and charming Nita was a delight as well. The housekeeping staff was always courteous and respectful and attended my every request with bright and friendly smiles. While the entrance to the property is noisy and bustling, just a few meters into the property my room was quite peaceful. The room itself was quite spacious, and I did appreciate the bathtub. Aircon was ice cold and and once the room cooled, I could turn it off for hours and stay comfortable. The pool was nice and clean as well. The staff keep the grounds very tidy and neat. I was so happy with my stay that I extended my original 10 day stay another 7 days. There are so many excellent eateries within a 10 minute walk, let alone just crossing the street. I will definitely be returning.

The internet connection was problematic at times, and this was a negative for me as I work remotely. Luckily I had very good cell reception and could use that as an alternative when the internet was not working. I only took advantage of the breakfast service twice. The coffee was not to my taste. However, again, there are a multitude of varied breakfast venues within a small radius of the property.

The room is beautiful - a palace! Everything just works😊 (except the safe). They let me check in an hour early👍

The breakfast is a complete joke - 1 (ONE) slender strip of bacon on the American ; and No fried egg on the balinese goreng? Juice OR fruit not both. A guy with a petrol powered and very loud whipper-snipper while we were all relaxing at the pool. The room is VERY dark ; you can't even read a book😳 put some light in there please. The toilet was struggling to flush during the heavy rain ; maybe some full up sewer system. The non-negotiable 1/2 room rate fee for late checkout even when they're only 25% occupied is a rip off.

Located in central Upper Seminyak, it was a good area to find what we needed and there were transport options elsewhere. We liked that the hotel met our needs as an older couple. They provided extra towels as mats where we thought that we may slip. The tiles were great in the balcony as they had non sip material between them. The pool area was delightful. The gardener knew how to keep this property immaculate. We asked for mosquito nets and were given them, we get bitten a lot in Bali so that was great. Thankyou. It was good to see the manager in the morning. She always greeted us and asked us how we were.

Go Jek didn’t know this hotel! It always went to the next hotel.

location is great, even in a busy location it was quite, pool was good , room was comfortable staff very friendly, easy access to restaurant, shopping, able to walk to the beach

the safe in the room didn't work, this was changed, which was great, then the second safe had a flat battery and then could not be opened, it was resolved by giving us a key, which is not the greatest option, but it worked They could also maybe put mosquito coils in the seating area outside your room, we could not utilise this space, because of the mosquitos, we could have gone a bought some coils ourselves, this would have been nice, other location we stayed at did this every night, which was great. the room did not have convenient power points, to charge the phones/ use the kettle we had to unplug the bedside light

Great location. Clubbing and great restaurants on you doorstep but no noise as bungalows are set well back from the road. Bed in my room was one if the best sleeps of my life. Once the light was out I was gone. Good aircon. Hot water for shower. Very traditional old style Bali. Great pool. Pay as you go gym and same day laundry 50m from front gate. Minimarkets and ATMS. Reflexi and massage galore. Kudeta and beach down the road. Low price. Not 5 star but represents excellent value for money. Will be back for sure.

Need more electric sockets in the room but renovations on some rooms was underway so think that will be sorted as budget allows.

Ananda Resorts has the Best fruit juices in Bali... Buying a Mango Juice and fresh coconut were a featured every day... especially when its hot. Lots of other flavours were available too. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Builidings are old style Balinese with beautiful character and style. This featured beautiful carvings, ornate roof systems and long pathways. Definitely better looking than square box hotels. If you need flash perfect then this is not the place. Location in Seminyak is very good. Central and very good restaurants handy and walking distance. close to the Le Favela nightclub but far enough away to be very quiet. also walking distance to Seminyak square and the local flea market

Breakfast is adequate, but basic. Happy to buy from the menu so really not a big problem. Could use a basic pool service for drinks but not super necessary.

Exceptional location and great at value for money, really enjoyed our stay here overall. Very quiet considering how close it is to main locations which we loved. Beds were great too! Fridge was great, great living space upstairs and downstairs.

The shower head tap wasn’t attached high enough so it was challenging to shower, power outlets limited and not in good places. TV screen was size of a computer monitor so didn’t use it. Downstairs door key didn’t seem to lock well but upstairs was very secure. Could unlock the downstairs entrance by sticking hand in the Balinese carving opening (convenient for us though).

Location was fantastic for restaurants and the beach and the surrounding area. Great value for money with the size of the room and its facilities.

Mozzies still ate me alive even with the bed nets. The wild kittens loudly crying around the place were both disturbing and made me feel sad. The breakfast at the restaurant was pretty average. Awful coffee.

LOCATION is the best. Right in the middle of Eat Street. Right in the Heart of Seminyak. No taxies needed. Restaurants, Bars, Massage,Shops, Mini supermarkets, all in Walking Distance. But the Resort is Quiet. No Noise from the street. Room is perfect for what you pay for! Aircon, fridge working well. Bed is comfy. Room is big enough. Bathroom is big. Pool is Good very good size. Included B'fast is very simple. but nice. Staff is very friendly. All of them.

Nothing not to like here. Look, it is the oldest Hotel in Seminyak, there for it is a bit oldish and a little run down. But facilities, rooms, pool and gardens are Great. Lots of Frangipani Trees.
