Beautiful hotel on west coast with amazing view of sunset at the three infinity pools and the beach. Our room was on ground floor with a patio leading to a two minutes walk to the pool, restaurant and the beach, but far enough to be quiet. The hotel pool area is right next to the long beach and although the beach is not private, its peaceful and quiet. Outside the hotel is a busy area for drinks, food and shopping within a 5-10 minute walk in Seminyak town centre, but we didn't hear the noise when in the hotel. Beautiful restaurant and food with live singing every night.

Traffic from the airport to the hotel is heavy, but this is the case all over Bali. But once in the hotel, can forget the outside.

Stayed in “The Club” Legion, was absolutely fantastic to have our own villa with its own private pool, along with the use of “The Club” pool and restaurant/bar and also the use of the Hotel Legion facilities which is situated over the road. The Hotel and club are of an exceptionally high standard, beautifully manicured gardens and pool areas. The Hotel boasts prime beach front position, fabulous sunsets and daytime sea breeze. We Ate in the sophisticated beachfront hotel restaurant which was high class and top notch food and service (reflected in the pricing). All of the staff from the Hotel to the club were exceptional, so genuinely friendly and eager to offer the best possible customer service possible. The highlight was our amazing Butler Swi who was utterly delightful, he made our holiday extra special for so many reasons. The Hotel/Club and staff are a class act in every way. We have visited Seminyak several times but “The Legion” has made me realise there’s no other place I would stay from now on. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Legion for such a wonderful stay we’ll see you next year!!

Nothing! Just an observation that possibly could do with more sunbeds at the main hotel pool especially in busy periods! (Not a complaint just a recommendation)

We recently stayed at The Legian Seminyak in Bali, and it was truly a dream vacation. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations, from the impeccable service to the stunning location and exceptional facilities. The staff were simply amazing—always attentive, friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their warm and professional approach made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of throughout our visit. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, situated right on the beach with breathtaking views of the ocean. The convenience of having three gorgeous pools on-site means you don’t need to go anywhere else to enjoy a relaxing day. Whether you prefer lounging by the pool or taking a stroll along the beach, this place has it all. It’s also worth mentioning how family-friendly this hotel is. The environment is ideal for those traveling with children, offering a combination of luxury, comfort, and thoughtful amenities that cater to families. In summary, everything about The Legian Seminyak was absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a flawless vacation in Bali, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely great vacation at the Legian Beach. The hotel room was very large and very comfortably equipped/furnished. The room had a large balcony overlooking the pool area and sea. The hotel offered free water, soft drinks and snacks. The sea was nice, some days with quite big waves so that swimming wasn't always possible. We loved the beach bar/restaurant directly at the beach to watch the sunset. The hotel also offered some free activities such as Yoga and Spinning classes - which were of very good quality. The hotel staff was very friendly. The room and the entire hotel was very clean. Breakfast had a good broad offering of different options. All in all - it was excellent and we felt at home.

The 3-tier infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean is STUNNING! The room was exceptional. We usually stay in multiple room villas with the family but because it was only my husband and I, we stayed in the studio suite, and it was huge! Way more space than we needed. The breakfast was a hybrid between buffet and made to order table service, which was kind of confusing at the beginning. The staff were always friendly, smiling and willing to go the extra mile for anything we needed. Only on the last day, it took too long to be helped for breakfast and I had to ask a staff passing by the table to place my order. They immediately apologized for the wait but I could tell it was a new group of staff and they seemed a bit overwhelmed in The Restaurant. The housekeeping staff were SUPER attentive. They came twice a day, for clean-up and again for bed turn-down service. Overall, I definitely recommend The Legian!!!!

Not enough pool beds/lounge chairs. It was on a first come first serve system and at the beginning of our stay, the other guests had already gotten the flow of "saving" seats early in the morning, which left out those of us coming in new to the system.

The service was amazing, the pools were amazing, the location on the beach was amazing! The lounge chairs and service at the outdoor spaces was excellent. Our room was beautiful and I LOVED that they gave us plenty of drinking water in the room. The morning buffet breakfast was excellent! The beach is heavenly, we walked for hours up and down the forever expansive beach with soft sand and perfect waves and the warmest water! Everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers that want to be pampered! They surprised us with a happy Anniversary cake upon arrival and gave us a second one our last night! They went above and beyond with every detail!! LOVED OUR STAY!!!!

I first must say, these are minor in comparison to all the good! The wifi was slow and didn't seem to work great. That was frustrating at times. I would also recommend some large fans for the outdoor eating area, especially for during the daytime meals. We had the Easter Brunch and sat in the dining for 2 hours and it was stifling! There was no breeze and we were almost too hot to enjoy. Some big fans would have helped immensely to get some circulation.

The location, size, pools and restaurant

Condensation in room ( dripping on tv and stereo ) toilet was not working properly and the terrace had an odd setup ( needed to use seperate doors to access both parts of balcony ). Light switches make no sense.

A beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities set by the Sea with its free swimming pools and easy access to the ocean. The buildings are wonderful and spacious. We had a lovely sweet, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff could not of been more friendly and more helpful. Overall, this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. I would recommend it as one of the top world hotels. If you can stay here you should The food is excellent and caters for all tastes, and you can either sit by the sea, eating tempura prawns, or have more formal dining, listening to a jazz band or traditional Bali music. we loved having afternoon tea brought to us and listening to the piano playing. it's particularly good that the managers of the hotel come and chat to you at breakfast to see if you're okay and do you need anything doing. The rooms are well equipped and the room service was superb.

The fact that we couldn't stay another week

The selection at B'fast was excellent, we particularly enjoyed the small health shots served at the fruit counter. The pools were clean, warm and well maintained. our room was generous, well appointed and very comfortable. The quality and style of service in general was exceptional.

It is very hard to pick anything without being overly sensitive, keep up the standards you already achieve and monitor customer feed back as you are and the future should be bright for the hotel.

The service was superb with pretty much all of the staff knowing our names from the get-go. The breakfasts were excellent with the Eggs Benedict being the best I’ve ever had (and l’ve had a few over the years!) The room - a two bedroom suite on the top floor - with views over the pool was beautiful and extremely spacious to say the least. The pool area was lovely with the staff being very attentive whilst not being overbearing. The sunsets were beautiful and the jazz band which played at the weekend added to the lovely ambience. My wife celebrated her 50th birthday and the flowers arranged for her on my request were stunning.

Not a dislike as such but perhaps the a la Carte menu could have a touch more choice.
