We stayed at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa as a group of four women to celebrate International Women’s Day, and our experience was absolutely unforgettable! To our surprise, the hotel upgraded our room to an ocean-view suite for the occasion, making our celebration even more special. The attention to detail from the staff was incredible—they decorated our bed with a heartfelt congratulatory message, which was a beautiful and touching gesture. The hotel is perfectly located right by the ocean, just a 7-minute walk from the main street with shops and restaurants. Beach clubs like Ku De Ta and Potato Head are also nearby, making it an ideal place to stay for those who want both relaxation and entertainment. The staff is extremely polite, attentive, and professional, ensuring a five-star experience in every way. Everything was perfect, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay in Seminyak. We will definitely return!

The location, and the room was beautiful. The pool was incredible too.

None of the electrical sockets in our room worked which was incredibly annoying. I was also annoyed that check in was for 2pm and when we arrived at 3.30, we were told our room wasn’t ready. This falls below the standard of a 5 star resort.

Beach on- site, well maintained grounds. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean so it appears as though the pool is flowing into the ocean; you get the best of both worlds. We purchased the breakfast with the stay which was a great idea. The food is excellent with lots of variety. The staff are very conscious of their guests and take good care of you. The pool staff a little less so, but once you get their attention they are good (it could be they are aware of giving you quiet space, so this is not criticism, just be aware the wait staff may not check in w/ you proactively). They have some activities on site, such as a Balinese cultural dinner (scrumptious), and some craft lessons. We had a massage on site and well worth it. The bustling part of Seminyak is a 10 minute walk and as this is a tourist area w/ lots of people out, we felt safe. Lots of taxis outside hotel, so if you prefer that it's not a problem.

Not much to say here. We heard mixed reviews of the on-site restaurant and it is more expensive than the local restaurants down the street, so we never went.

The rooms are beautiful and cleaned everyday . We had a groundfloor room and could not hear any noise from the room above us or beside us. The location is perfect. Short walk to restaurants and shops . Money changer right out front on street . The grounds are beautiful lush and green . Two pools main infinity and smaller pool around the pool bar. Have stayed at this property multiple times and cannot fault it.

The only complaint is we were here just recently in October and it was ver hot. The main infinity pool was like a bath and at one stage had turned green and quite dirty. Eventuality they did clean it but not till after a few days was not a good look for a five star hotel ..

This was our second time at The Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa and we loved it as much as the first time. The location is absolutely amazing in the middle of Seminyak with a beautiful view over the beach and the ocean, the resort is luxurious with it's beautiful exotic garden. We had a ocean view room with jacuzzi which was wonderful. Plus a lot of ammenities in the room. The breakfast is very variate so you choose from many options and the staff is so welcoming and helpful. This definitely won't be our last visit here.

Not much to say here. The daily yoga class is not advertised at all unfortunately (or at least we didn't see it anywhere). We only knew about it from the last time we were here.

Our entire stay at the hotel was perfect, from arrival to the last day. The hotel is perfectly positioned right next to the beach, with a large garden full of palm trees and tropical plants and a large infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean and direct access to the beach and ocean with the possibility of surfing (or at least watching others surf). The entire complex is carefully maintained and is in line with Bali culture while on the other hand providing all the amenities of modern times. The service at the hotel is excellent, personalized. From the first day, the staff remembers the names of the guests and approaches them with a smile and tries to fulfill all their needs. We are especially grateful to Nika and Utama who made our stay especially pleasant from breakfast to spending time by the pool. The hotel is located in the center of Seminyak and is within walking distance of the best restaurants and exciting shopping (very convenient). The hotel also provides a transfer service to and from the airport as well as organizing excursions (through an agency) or tailor-made excursions according to the wishes of the guests with a private driver. Here I must highlight and praise the customer service person who took care of us from the first day and took over the organization and coordination of all our wishes. Wonderful Uma is a person from whom many other hotels should learn how to treat guests! Uma was available even when she had a day off and was our guardian angel! many thanks for all the days and dedication she showed. The hotel offers a spa and gym (although the gym is a bit too air-conditioned and cold), a couple of restaurants, one of which has a wonderful view of the beach and an unforgettable sunset. also a perfectly positioned hall for smaller weddings or private parties located above the ocean creates dream scenes. Seminyak beach resort and spa is a hotel that I would choose again for my accommodation.

In peak season there is a shortage of sun beds by the pool, so some of the guests come early in the morning (around 8am) to occupy beds. So it can happen that there is no place by the pool, and the reason we chose this hotel is chilling by the pool.

the staff were very friendly and made me feel special from the minute I got there. And you can’t beat the location.

there aren’t too many food options at the property but plenty of choices all around it.

1. delicious breakfast buffet with lots of options 2. our room was big & clean. I saw few comments saying the resort was outdated which I do not agree with ! it's very well maintained and room had all the modern comfort with a Balinese design touch 3. highlight of this resort is the staff !! super nice & helpful 4. Great gym 5. Pool : with some incredible sunsets

Food was too expensive (once you add service + tax) and portions ridiculously small which was a shame as we were travelling with a baby and wanted to spend as much time as possible in the resort. 25 pounds for 2 Caesar salads with barely had any chicken in them ... I also got food poisoning on my last day after having the pasta with clams at the restaurant ; didn't feel fresh when I ate it either. My husband had to go get food from outside or order via gojek

If I could describe my Dream holiday in Bali it would include staying at The Seminyak. On a special holiday with my daughter our stay has been so perfect. Every staff member has looked after us so so much, but especially Retna and Miss Uma 💖 we have Loved taking part in their workshops to learn about Balinese weaving (Ketupat) music (Angklung harmony) and Offerings (canang sari). The breakfasts are amazing. A huge choice, for every palate, diet and culture. And the breakfast restaurant location, overlooking the immaculate garden with the Indian Ocean lapping at the shore. It has made us feel like the luckiest people in the world. And, the 3 swimming pools. One with romantic gazebos and a swim up bar, another, very private, at out garden rooms with an even better swim up bar, fountains, in-pool seating and incredible tranquility and then, the infinity pool. As I type this I am on my sun lounger by the infinity pool, unable to see where the pool stops and the ocean begins. Attentive but unintrusive staff circulate to take food or drink orders and meet all our needs. We are “hotel hopping” on this trip, but I honestly am not sure anything can beat this. Thank you to all who have welcomed us and made us feel so special 🙏🏻
