My stay at Hola Seminyak was perfect. The location is perfect, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, which made it easy to explore Seminyak. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. However, the toilet had a bad smell, which was quite unpleasant. It would be great if they could improve cleanliness and ventilation in the bathrooms. The facilities are quite basic, so it’s more of a budget-friendly stay rather than a luxury experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a strategic location at an affordable price, it’s an okay option. But I hope they work on the maintenance for a better experience!

Location was great, in the heart of Seminyak. Beds were comfy and aircon was strong. Room came with sufficient hangars and outside laundry rack to dry your beach attire. Fragrance pads were found around the room and toilet to keep them smelling fresh

The hot water was not a consistent flow of temperature-controlled water. It was more of a instant-heater kind of temperature, where sometimes it gets really hot, and then it reverts to normal temperature (that you've set), and then increases greatly again. The entry to the hotel is really really narrow (and easily missed by local drivers) so do let them know in advance of the turn

The property was located in a street tucked away from the main area, making it accessible but quiet. It was close to convenience stores and restaurants. We liked the fact that it was a leisurely walk to the beach. The hotel is cozy. Our room was small but good enough for my partner and I. I like that our room gets hit by the sun in the morning and that I can see frangipani blooms outside my balcony. The warm water coming out from the shower was great. The staff of the hotel were amazingly warm and very accommodating.

Our air conditioning broke down on our final night. The staff were able to have it fixed. The walls are kinda thin and the glass windows were not secure enough that noise penetrates the room. Especially when there are obnoxious guests who make too much noise at 3 am. There needs to be more light in the bathroom, especially near the mirrors as it’s quite dark.

The hotel is in a very small alley but quiet at night. The staff are nice and helpful too.

Be aware if you were using the electric kettle for hot water in Bali. It didn't stop automatically when the water was totally boiled. It could keep boiling till it dries out half of the water in the kettle. That's somewhat dangerous. And the kettle was in a poor design which makes the steam heat up the switch on it. So use a towel if you try to turn it off manually, or you may burn your fingers. I strongly recommend the manager to replace it with a safe one before it causes any danger to any visitors.

The location was great, staff were all friendly. The hotel’s former name was Casu Kayu Aya hence Hola Seminyak was a bit challenging to find in Google Map. During our stay some of the hotel rooms was under renovation but it did not affect our stay at all. The room itself and the pool was clean and the bonus part was the TV had an option of Netflix, Prime Video, etc.

Our room was not cleaned on daily basis (only unless you asked them) and when we asked the staff for laundry, the hotel does not do laundry (with extra charges) even if the hotel detail says on Booking.com, that the hotel does daily housekeeping & has laundry available.

I really liked the price. It was a quiet location that was still close to shops and restaurants. The room was small but comfortable. It had everything you’d need. The bathroom was definitely tiny but was clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Overall it was a good spot to be at even though it was hard for Cara to get to because of the long skinny back road leading to it. There was a small pool and my room did have a nice view of nature.

There was a faint smell in the room and it looked like the whole place could use a paint job because there was a lot of spackling touch up spots throughout.

Location is perfect, set in a very quiet alley yet just 1 minute walk away from the center of Seminyak and about 10-15 min to the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful and you can get breakfast in the property too, although it’s quite basic.

The bathroom is very, very small. It’s impossible for 1 person to be using the toilet and the other to access the sink. To access the sink you have to close the bathroom door. However that’s a small inconvenience for the price you pay.

Lovely stay in the room with a balcony and plunge pool view. Great Aircon & pretty comfy bed too, so I extended. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was really awesome; just- down an alley side street only moments up from the popular restaurant, bar Club Mexicola. Everything at the doorstep you can not get closer to Seminyak square or beach, the best shopping surroundings and yet super quiet! Great breakfast; the croissant sandwich is a must! Good wardrobe too and a safety deposit box. I bought heaps from the surrounding boutiques! easy location for Gojek. (I am Aussie not Indo!)

The room was a little tiny for my preference as there was no luggage bench my 2 suitcases were a bit cramped on the floor. Also, the bathroom door opening was a bit awkward - but you can't beat the location or comfy bed with a peaceful space in the middle of Seminyak square!

Quick communication from hotel. Accommodating to reasonable requests. We were very impressed with price of Hola as it was in a quiet location, clean and comfortable. Minutes walk to Seminyak Sq, beach and restaurants. We had booked two rooms and would book again as a good find offering value for the budget minded.

Nothing I could pinpoint keeping in mind we just spent one night there as were moving on the next day.

Lovely beach style room, very comfortable and great that it was air conditioned, though the bathroom was on the small side. Pool was lovely, perfect amount of sun and shaded areas! Super friendly staff, all very helpful. The location was perfect, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, definitely recommend!

Just to note the bathroom was pretty small, the door was always in the way. Nothing we couldn’t deal with though.
