The service is great, lovely staff and very friendly. Easy walk to the local markets and restaurants. Finding a blue taxi or moped taxi was easy. We enjoyed a massage arranged by the staff, in our room and I do recommend the Balinese massage. The service was great. The breakfast served in the room was really good and great service again. The private pool was fabulous and relaxing, either mid day taking a break or late evening to relax. Easy walk to the beach and not as busy as the beach resorts, we enjoyed the quieter area. The WiFi is good, the layout of the room is good and very spacious.

Welcome drink and cool towel on arrival. Breakfast served in room every morning was a lovely touch. Staff were friendly and kind. Clean bottled water provided in each bathroom for teeth brushing. Drinkable water filter in kitchen. Location down a quiet off road, close to restaurants, nightclubs and shops, without being noisy. Tropical gardens, mood lighting and beautiful balcony. Our teenage sons had their own bedrooms, bathrooms and space, which was perfect. Spacious king size bedrooms each with their own deluxe bathroom. 4 bathrooms in total. Pillows and beds very comfortable. Icy cold air-conditioning throughout. Private pool was amazing. Room service each day was wonderful to come back to after a day of tours. Mosquito coils and spray each day to keep mosquitoes away. We absolutely loved our stay at Cicada! Would definitely come back!

Staff couldn't recommend any local restaurants so we had to do our own extensive research and trial and error to find suitable places. Our private driver on day 3 had fabulous recommendations for local places and he wasn't even local to Seminyak. Thanks to him we found Traditional Balinese food and great restaurants with ambience and amazing food. The kitchen drawers and cupboards have a bit of wear and tear, and no real utensils for cooking or cleaning, but we didn’t cook, so it didn't bother us at all. Hand towels were not available in downstairs bathroom or kitchen.

The hotel staff were amazing. So friendly and they looked after us very well. The villas are very spacious and are furnished nicely. I liked that we had our own private pool in the villa and we could also use the large shared pool. The villas are in a fantastic location with many places to eat and shop close by.

The villas are lovely but are getting a little older now. Our group stayed in 3 different villas and only 1 of the villas had a toaster in the kitchen and there were limited items to use in the villa kitchen, it could use a few more untensils, pots, pans and crockery. Some days the breakfast was not as good as other days. But these were minor details, we really enjoyed our stay and felt we made a great choice staying at Cicada.

We stayed here just for one night as we wanted to be somewhere close to the airport a day before flying so we didn’t stay a long time. We found the rooms were big , clean and comfortable. When we told them it was our honeymoon they put some rose petals in the bath and decorated the room which was a nice touch. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It is just a short walk to some nice restaurants and a beach.

We didn’t realise how much traffic there was in the area so whilst it seemed to be close to the airport it took around 1/1:30 hours to get there. I understood the hotel was close to a beach (petitenget beach) but it seems quite a quiet one with limited bars / restaurants. Unfortunately we didn’t stay long enough to see the main beach (Seminyak beach) so it’s hard to say how they would compare. There wasn’t much ambience at the hotel pool area. They only offer spa treatments in your room so we decided to find another spa nearby.

A really charming complex with very few houses which makes it feel exclusive. The swimming pool is really nice and the house is very well equipped, spacious and clean. The staff were all polite, helpful and smiling. Though there is no place to eat at the hotel, the location is very good and there are plenty of warungs, restaurants and bars nearby.

Nothing really, we had a great stay.

The main pool and the private pool gave different experience. Our family enjoyed both, given we have young kids aged 8. One of the room has external shower, I personally enjoy it. But if you are not keen to that idea, you can also choose the indoor shower with one of the room

I think the stairs are ok. It would be really enjoyable experience if the hostess help pick up those luggage to the room. It's not a biggy but it would complete the experience better. The place is installed with sliding glass. Whilst it look elegant, mosquito did show up every night and bit my two kids...

Beautiful, spacious townhouses with outdoor bathrooms and a huge shared pool- as well as a plunge pool in your own townhouse. We were lucky to book when Bali had just opened up after the pandemic. The prices have now returned to normal and Cicada is probably now out of our price range.

Nothing. At first we were worried about there being no restaurant, but the room service was great and much cheaper than the next door hotel’s restaurant.

An oasis of tranquility surrounded by greenery, this accommodation exceeded our expectations. Its superb location just a few minutes' walk from the beach was a highlight, and the abundance of shops and restaurants within walking distance added to its appeal. The modern, beautifully equipped villas with private pools provided the perfect setting for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional.

After much research we decided on Cicada townhouses for our stay and we weren't disappointed! The most luxurious accommodation, comfy bed, amazing location and friendliest, helpful staff. We loved the privacy of our own pool, the delicious brekky delivered to our apartment and being walking distance to the heart of Seminyak. The most luxurious holiday we've ever had. Can't wait to come back, me might even bring the kids next time 😉

Breakfast options were excellent and staff were very accommodating and helpful. The location was very quiet and when in the villa you felt a world away from the traffic / noise of the city

Not much, we were keen to cook ourselves at one point and we only had saucepans and no frypan which would have been useful.
