We really enjoyed our stay at KoeniKoeni Villas. Lovely and attentive staff and very spacious villa. Bathroom was big and clean. Bed super comfortable. Location was quiet and could not hear the street noise from the villa. The waterfall feature over the villa pool was relaxing. About a 3 minute walk up the laneway to a main street. Circle K across the street which was handy. Close to restaurants, pharmacy, money exchanger etc. Or easy to catch a Blue Bird or Gojek if heading out further. Probably an 8 minute walk to the beach, but we did not go so cannot comment on the beach itself. Breakfast was nice. Not a huge variety but enough to keep us happy. We had it delivered daily to the villa at an allocated time but you have the option to eat in the restaurant too.

Common in Bali accommodation, the Villa we were in did have a damp/musky smell when you initially entered. Once we aired the room out for a few minutes each time we got back from being out, it was ok. They did have a room air purifier set up to try to combat the issue, but it was still there. Not awful, but worth mentioning. Wifi was good in the main living and outside areas but poor in the bedroom for some reason.

The property was gorgeous. The pool was bigger than I expected. We were able to get a decent amount of sun poolside, but there was also an umbrella that worked great if you wanted to avoid the sun. Everything was clean and tidy, I really liked the layout of our villa as it had separation between the lounge/dining area and the bedroom. There were 2 toilets and 4 x showers (1 at the pool, one inside the pool bathroom, one outside but part of the bathroom, and one in the bathroom). The staff were fantastic and super friendly and accommodating. It was my birthday while we were staying there and they surprised us with a cake and singing happy birthday which was just so thoughtful. The area seemed a little further away from everything (compared to where we have stayed before in Bali) but once we got our bearings we realised how close and convenient the location was; near great restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as close to the beach and shopping. It was also so nice and quiet. In our villa, we felt as if we were the only people for miles. It was very secluded and private. We will definitely be staying there again next time.

The below is the only thing I could possibly think of that wasn't absolutely brilliant about our stay. We got room service one night, and most of the food was delicious, except for the pizza - would not recommend.

Peace and quiet, particularly in a busy location. Staff were very friendly.

A little rundown (decking around the pool needed to be fixed, shower screen hit the light/roof on opening).

The location was great! Central but tucked away from the busy streets away from the noise at night; ample space even for a one BR villa. the staff are very friendly and helpful.

A little run-down so i would categorise this villa as perhaps 3*; mosquitos even in air condition room at night & a rat visiting.

We weren't told that we could have a driver to drive us to short destinations so we ended up spending way to much on taxi.

Very helpful and friendly staff.Huge breakfast delivered every morning at your specified time,lots of options as well.Really nice pool and quite a lot larger than expected ..Well appointed kitchen also if needed they would supply more if needed.about a 12 minute walk to Seminyak Square..lots of restaurants there but some good ones close by as well.as well as the restaurant at the Villas.short walk to the beach..We really liked it and would defiantly stay again..

Very spacious and comfortable and within an easy walk to restaurants and shopping . Loved the breakfasts delivered to the villa - sometimes too much food. Exceptional and friendly staff - no request was too much or too hard. Everything we needed was available and excellent quality - towels, bedding etc and the villa was very quiet.

While very clean, the villa was starting to look a little tired - curtains in the bedrooms were in need of a clean and were missing hanging hooks.

Was very late but had an excellent welcome on arrival. The pool area was huge and loved the mini bar that was freely available. Bed was amazing very comfortable and room had everything we needed. Staff were all so friendly and we loved our stay

Didn't know enough about extra services available e.g breakfast and in villa private dinner. Some part of bathroom needed a deep clean. Would have been good to have the coffee pods topped up each day had to go and buy some. Wifi wasn't the best

The location was great. Very central to the main shopping area and restaurants in Seminyak. It was great that breakfast was included in the stay and that you could select what time it was delivered to your villa. Loved how they stocked up the fridge with water, drinks and some nibbles daily and the fruit bowl regularly. The staff were very friendly and the villas kept clean and tidy. I would definitely go back there.

The villa is set back from the main road, so there was a short walk to get to any shops. Not a big deal, but I did notice some other resorts next to it had a buggy service that dropped their residents off at the main road or further. I also understand that KoenoKoeni is more like a boutique company so might not have the capacity to offer this service.

The property is in a quiet location, away from the bustle of Seminyak town and the very busy-at-times streets. It is however very well situated to be able to walk to the nearest beach, several first class resort hotels, great restaurants, a mall and very many local stores. Breakfast from an extensive choice menu served daily to our villa was a wonderful way to start each day. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping staff and management went ‘above and beyond’ with their very kind and thoughtful gestures in celebration of our Wedding Anniversary.

Perhaps a few paint and trim touch-ups could be attended-to in the ‘off-season’? Nothing of major importance but essential for a true 5* rating.
