The location is great. Quiet but only a 2 minute walk to the shopping village and market and close to restaurants. The staff were absolutely beautiful. Santi is the most accommodating, kind, attentive and thorough person and she’s so kind and beautiful. All of the staff are amazing and happy to go above and beyond for you. The restaurant offers delish meals either eating in or at your villa and they’re consistently good. The cocktails are great and the coffee is my favourite. The villas themselves are gorgeous. Aside from general wear and tear from the weather - slight rusting around the metal at the bottom of the shower - of the outdoor or wet areas. The place is thoroughly cleaned and beautifully maintained from gardens to rooms.

We arrived at Samaja with luggage, hope, and the modest expectation of a clean bed. We left begrudgingly, with pool hair, happy bellies, and a promise to return. The villa? A miniature temple of taste and privacy, where even the mosquitoes seemed too polite to bother us. Every morning, Pancakes or French toast appeared like a sunrise on a plate: humble, sweet, and spiritually restorative. The staff? Smiling wizards of hospitality, somehow everywhere without ever intruding. The pool had a little step where I could recline like a Roman emperor in swim trunks. We travelled across Bali, Japan, New York, and more, but nothing hit quite like Samaja. We even came back at the end of our trip (despite my genius move of booking the wrong date) and they still found a way to welcome us. If that’s not service, I don’t know what is.

It’s hard to complain when you’ve slept like royalty and eaten like a poet. The laundry isn’t self-service, so if you plan to wash your entire wardrobe, bring royal gold. That said, it came back cleaner than my conscience. A minor note in an otherwise symphonic stay. Thanks again to the whole team, you added something special to our time in Bali.

The staff were so kind and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything. The breakfast was really good. The villa was clean and spacious, the private pool an added bonus. Anything we wanted could be accommodated, including a driver for the day and spa facilities. Nothing was too much trouble 😁

How close it was to Seminyak Square. The friendly staff who were only too happy to help. The large size of the villa with the cafe/bar at the front and the small little local shop for any forgotten supplies.

That we had to come home

Well-located spot, close to bars, restaurants, shops and the beach. Staff were friendly. In-house restaurant was great and well-priced. Swimming pool was a great size and very clean!

The let-down was the size of the bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom was small and very dimly lit. The bathroom had air vents open to the outside and a door to the pool area that had a big gap - both couldn’t be closed, which let in insects and made the bathroom very hot (no aircon or fan in bathroom). We couldn’t leave the door open between the bathroom and bedroom as that would let insects into the bedroom - didn’t want mosquito bites while we slept! So we’d shower and then be immediately hot/sweaty again!

Absolute privacy - quiet & peaceful. Good size pool for two, good amount of sun & shade. Staff exceedingly friendly and welcomed us 'home' every time we came back. Great location but not as on Apple Maps - follow google maps! Few minutes walk to Seminyak Square and plenty to eat & drink close by. Loads of taxis & bikes around if you want to go further afield - we walked to Kuta along the beachfront which took around an hour.

Not much at all! The only thing was you could see the toilet from certain spots outside so we just closed the blinds which solved that!

Spacious. Walking distance to main strip of Seminyak. Staff are friendly. Good amenities and full supply of toiletries if required.

Positioned very close to main road so noisy all day and night - other villas (I think the odd number villas) in the complex may be quieter as they are built back from the road. Doesn’t get a great amount of sun. Where the loungers are positioned in the villa I was in, there is no sun (at least during June).

All the staff were brilliant kind polite smiling they couldn't do enough for us. Great bar with food and for breakfast loads of choices, and cooked fresh. Even the spa upstairs was excellent as we went twice. The villa was spacious,air con great in bedroom, cleaned every day , was a bit quirky with an outdoor shower but got used to it as it was very private . The bed was very comfortable

The swimming pool area could do with an update, it was clean but getting old , also the pool is at 150cm deep throughout which was a problem for my 5 ft partner, for a plunge pool it's too deep. Needs more hanging space for clothes

Beautiful Vila. Extremely clean. Perfect facilities and restaurant nice. Would recommend to friends. Within close walking distance to Seminyak beach clubs and within couple of mins taxi to other areas of interest. Staff all extremely friendly.
