Wonderful staff, amazing pool, large villa. Very clean, also had a rooftop terrace. Gloriam Grills just a short walk away has amazing Italian and Dahana up the road for incredible Japanese, Coffee Cartel has very tasty breakfast options which is also close by, villa is in a great location.

We stayed for a week, but after the third day with the limited breakfast options we ended up eating out at a local cafe which was a good solution, not a major issue.

Very friendly and warm greeting on arrival, straightforward check in and the complimentary arrival drink was appreciated. The villa was beautifully decorated and very clean, with staff responsive and helpful for any Enquiries. The private pool was absolutely fantastic and we made great use of it during our stay. Provision of free water bottles each day also made sure we were keeping hydrated with clean bottled water in the heat. Daily breakfast was an excellent inclusion for our stay, and set us up really well with a substantial and tasty feed before heading out to explore. We ate from the restaurant a few times in the evening and by room service, and can recommend the Nasi Goreng and Mee Goreng. Can highly recommend the in-room barbecue for anyone that is interested in a little extra treat, the food was beautiful and it was great to be able to try some of the different local delicacies. An absolute bargain for the price, don’t think we finished all the food, despite trying! We really appreciated the nice quiet part of town that this villa is located, and that we were able to get a good nights sleep every night, without noises from nightclubs etc as may be found in other parts of town.

We travelled at a very humid time of year, and the open plan living area, whilst it has a fan, we were not able to work out how to turn the power up on the hotter days. We just made the most of the beautiful private pool and the very efficient air conditioner in the bedroom when we became too warm.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good, you can walk to shops and beach. Private pool lovely size. Breakfast was good.

We had a rooftop area but didn't sit up there as there was no furniture to sit on. All pools are at the back of all villas which are open, you can hear loud people talking and TV's etc as all villas are open living downstairs.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is perfect if you’re looking to be close to the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. It’s on a fairly busy road, they have staff to help you onto the road whether on foot, bike or car which is really handy. Private pool was cool. The room was very clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast was not included for us but was really a good selection, tasty and great value at 100,00 rp. Mini bar was also super affordable. Smart TV is a huge tick as not that common in other places I’ve stayed in Bali. Mini revolver is a short walk for an awesome coffee. Air con in the bedroom was nice and cold.

Okay a few things you need to know: if you get one of the villas on the right hand side - the pool is absolutely freezing as those villas don’t get much sun, to the point I didn’t actually use the pool because of this. Also, the stairs inside the villa to get up to the bedroom are STEEP, like dangerously steep. The lounge room is open air so not great when it’s ridiculously hot or for the bugs/mosquitoes. Some of the villas are concrete tiled around the pool which is perfect but our villa had decking around the pool and it was a little dodgy and felt unsafe.

Great location, walking distance to markets/shops, restaurants and around a 20 minute walk to Seminyak Village. Large spacious villas, large pool (big enough to swim laps in). Bottles of filtered water provided daily. Welcome drink provided. Staff friendly.

Wasn’t a huge fan of the breakfast. For what I paid, I expected more. Felt like a cheap Travelodge continental breakfast. Option to have a la carte, which looked a lot better, but had to pay extra. Open plan so you can hear everything from the villas next door, even if they were not being loud & just having a regular conversation. Bathroom had water coming through the mirror when it rained hard. Pool nearly overfilled when it rained. Water was also a green-ish colour as though the pool hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Out of everywhere I stayed in Bali, this is the villa I got bit the most by mosquitoes etc because it was open plan. Only 2 coffee sachets left daily, so if there’s 2 people in the villa, only 1 coffee each.

The villa was super spacious for 2 people and had all the amenities you could need. The pool was amazing and was in the shade for most of the day which was a great way to cool off. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Really great location!

The bed was super hard. The bathroom needed a good clean - shower screen was dirty, rust on parts of the bathroom.

Fantastic experience from the moment we got picked up from the airport, rooms spacious and tidy, location is good, walking distance to Seminyak central (took us around 20 min) and mart is next door! all the staff that were very attentive and welcoming and genuinely wanting for you to have an enjoyable stay! Special thank you to Gusti who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local culture and many other things he educated us on our day trip to Ubud! Left very happy will definitely recommend and be back to see new swimming pool they are opening one day!

We loved the location of the property and the staff were fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and the facilities were cleaned and tidied daily which put us at ease.

The restaurant’s food was not enjoyable unfortunately. We had breakfast included each morning and the choices were odd; not your typical breakfast choices which are usually what we would expect. We also ordered room service a few times and found we weren’t given cutlery and no cutlery was in the room, leaving us to cut our meals with spoons. We rang reception for cutlery and it took 20mins to bring it to our villa. Considering how much extra we paid for breakfast included we were definitely expecting something better than steamed rice and fried chicken.

We stayed for 3 nights and really liked the location & service here. We were picked up by driver Gusti. He was fantastic, and very knowledgeable. He became our driver for our time here and will happily contact him again in the future! The room itself is nice, and the bed was massive! And really comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious too. It was great to have our own pool! The morning breakfast was great, we couldn’t wait to get us everyday! Staff was helpful organising a scooter too! Location is very close to many great places and eateries. Close to the beach for a scooter!

The pool wasn’t clean when we arrived, but was promptly fixed! The aircon worked, but wish it didn’t need to be on for hours before cooling the room down. Some form of aircon downstairs would be good too, as it’s an open space probably a bit hard, but we didn’t utilise the space downstairs as much as we would’ve liked! Overall really enjoyed our stay here.

The staff are SO friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home. We asked 100 questions a day and they were always happy to help us. They cleaned the room and pool everyday and also changed the sheets everyday which is amazing The privacy of the Villa with a completely private pool as well made the experience even better. Highly recommend Villa Kayu raja

Location wasn’t the best but was still really good for the price, the villas that are in the main area are a lot more expensive and don’t have a lot of the facilities that this villa offers
