We have been to Hotel Vila Lumbung before covid (approx 5 years ago) and although the hotel is lovely it is showing its age a little. The pool is still fabulous, staff were a little overwhelmed I felt and not as attentive as they were on our last visit , however the staff finally changed our room as the aircon was not working in the Vila we were given initially after my husband made a few complaints . We still had a fairly nice stay though although a bit disappointed by the actions of other guests at the hotel at the time and after a bit of a rocky start.

Other guests at the hotel should be more considerate of others just because you are large family group does not mean you own the hotel. A swim up bar should be for adults and not for young kids with their pool toys and throwing balls around and being excessively noisy, the larger main pool is more suited to kids , but in this day and age it's amazing how much as people we have become extremely self centred and self entitled and have a great lack of respect for others , not a nice place to be !!

My stay at Vila Hotel Lumbung was a delightful experience, largely thanks to its charming lobby that exuded a welcoming atmosphere. The spacious rooms provided ample comfort and tranquility, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The breakfast spread was not only delicious but also diverse, catering to various tastes and preferences. Moreover, the staff's hospitality and attentiveness truly enhanced the overall enjoyment of my stay, leaving me with fond memories and a desire to return.

While my stay at Vila Hotel Lumbung was overall enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The internet connection was often unreliable, and the constant need to enter passwords became tedious. Additionally, I found the lack of facilities in the cupboards to be somewhat disappointing. However, despite these minor inconveniences, I still thoroughly appreciated my time at the hotel and would consider returning in the future.

the gardens/grounds, huge trees create a magical setting, friendly attentive staff paricularly some of the young female hosts who are lovely (thank you for the cake and singing Happy Birthday to me), location very good, breakfast was quite good. Overall good value for the price paid. 4 of us stayed with 3 in Deluxe Lumbungs and 1 in a room, would go the lumbungs over rooms.

not much, hotel is a little tired in appearance and you might find something like inside of a fridge dirty or aircon not the best. staff however did their best to attend and remedy any issue. I had a big step in bath/shower which may be a little unsafe for some although my friends all had walk ins.

For the money we couldn't fault it. Grounds were lush and green. Our accommodation was exactly what we expected. The staff were lovely and friendly. Location was perfect for us. Close enough to walk to beach front and clubs, etc, but far enough away, and set back enough so it felt totally secluded if you wanted to chill by the pool or have a good night's sleep. Housekeeping everyday and towels changed. Would definitely go back. Recommend any9ne to check out Iron Fairies bar nearby as well.

The one thing we felt let the place down, and stopped us from giving it a 10/10.... We had a.downstairs deluxe lumbung with outdoor bathroom, which we asked for, and loved, but the floor area beyond the bathroom facilities extending out into the yard area was covered in a green moss. Would of been a lot better if this had been removed or power washed off the floor. Made the yard look a bit dirty and forgotten, which is a shame as it's something easily rectified.

This was a great place to stay. On arrival we were offered an upgrade without even asking which we obviously took and the room was huge. When we walked in through the door we entered a lounge room with a kitchen running off that. we then went into the bedroom that was bigger than any room I have ever stayed in. For me to say it was huge would be an understatement. Off that room was the bathroom which had a nice shower and toilet. While not having a huge amout of sun beds it did seem to be enough with additional large been bags. The pool was great. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast and the general menu was satisfactory.

My only dislike or downfall with the place was the cost of food on the menu it was quite expensive compared to other hotel s I have stayed at on my many trips to Bali. I have also found the cost of the drinks at the hotel meant we spent our time at bars around Seminyak instead of at the hotel.

Great staff and we upgraded to the large 3 bedroom villa with massive amount of space. Nice pool, swim up bar, helpful and friendly staff, great value transport and great value for money. 5 minute walk to Potato Head day club and excellent Italian restaurant and great value beauty salon for massages at top of entrance. Probably 30 minutes walk to flea market. Seminyak is really best for shopping, rather than beaches. Breakfast was ok but bit limited.

Probably common to most Bali properties; poor wifi, being older it was generally a bit tired and needing of maintenance. Half of the light switches in the villa are nonfunctional so made it difficult to know how to turn lights on and off. murky pool water (needs more chlorine).

We love hotel vila lumbung so much! This was our second stay! The room, staff and location are all so great!

The shower was a little cold. Other than that, no complaints!

This is the 4th time i have stayed here. It is a wonderful resort with fantastic staff, they always greet you, and remember your name. They are very accommodating and so pleasant and nice.the pools are lovely and you have choices, swim up bar with wonderful staff including bar mgr Gusto, he has a fabulous team who ensured we and other guest had a fabulous time. The food is very good and everything is reasonably priced. We stay in a lumbung room which is spacious and always clean, huge comfortable bed and balcony. We will continue to come back here, i have no hesitation recommending this resort you get the best of bali, great resort, fantastic pleasant staff that trat everyone special...I genuinely love this resort and it's amazing staff.. congratulations to all the staff because you make the resort top notch...keep up the fantastic efforts you all do ypu should be proud of all of your teams.

Absolutely nothing, i have no complaints, i have stayed 4 times and hope to be again before the end of the year.

Pool and pool bar was great. Staff and room was very good.

Food was only OK. But lots of restaurants in the area to try

Our stay at Hotel Lumbung was wonderful. The room was beautiful, spacious, and great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when my daughter was unwell — they showed real care and always had a smile on their faces. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. Overall: We had a great experience and will definitely be back!

The only thing that could have been better was the cleanliness in some of the common areas, which could use a bit more attention.
