Nice place, traditional roofing, really friendly staff.

We had to ask for new towels because the were spotted, but they promptly gave us another two. No questions asked, no overprice.

The accommodation was located a bit outside the hubbub. Since they offered a scooter rent it was easy to reach the city (traffic not considered). There are some restaurants for dinner and breakfast nearby and a shop down the street. The staff was super kind and helpful. The room was well prepared and clean. We extended our stay to a total of five nights which was no problem at all (only the payment was a bit tricky and had to be done via booking since they have a different bank system).

We were super happy here. Just one thing: an additional towel for the sink would be great so one does not always have to walk in the shower to get the towel.

The location south of Monkey Forest was much more peaceful compared to Central Ubud although there are still many restaurants and cafes nearby. The pool is surrounded by many trees and plants that it felt like you're swimming in a jungle. There was so much nature around the pool that while swimming I saw many birds flying around me. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Staff were excellent. Excellent value for money for what you get.

Although nothing went missing and staff were very trustworthy, the rooms had no safe.

The staff are super nice. The location is amazing. Great neighborhood, lots to do, the hotel is about 2 minutes walk from the main street. So, really close, but you don't hear the noise from the road. The pool is nice sized. I stayed on the 2nd and 3rt floor. Both have amazing view. I would definitely come back.

In one of the rooms the bed was too soft to my taste. But that's very individually.

Very rustic property feels culturally rich. It’s very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No breakfast included (it’s mentioned during booking) but there were a few places around (we faced difficulty one day mostly because we went during a public holiday and places were shut)

I was surprised that there was no tv or iron in the room. Swimming pool is not pretty swimmable but good and clean for chilling.

Really well maintained property with lovely little touches everywhere. It’s in such a quiet area, but has everything you would need within a few minutes walk. The owner Ayu, and Julian who keeps the place looking very clean and tidy were helpful without being intrusive. I loved staying here.

No water refills.

This place is magical - very private, beautiful small garden with a nice pool, comfortable terrace area (we stayed on 1st floor). Large and very comfortable bed, where you sleep like a baby. Room was big and comfortable. We also used laundry service what was with good value and quick (clean laundry was ready for next morning). Soap, shampoo and teethbrush were included. Hotel location was 17min walking distance from Ubud center, very quiet, green and cozy area. To walk to center, you must pass Monkey Forest and it's nice to see monkeys playing around.

Surprisingly there was no TV in the room but honestly didn't miss it too much too. Room cleaning during our stay wasn't very good and seems they just emptied only garbage bins without cleaning floors, etc.

We absolutely loved our stay at the property. It is a little oasis in busy Ubud located near Monkey forrest. There are many food options near by. We had a room on the 3rd/top floor so the view from the room was awesome. The staff were really nice and attentive. It was one of the best accommodations we had in Bali so far and we will be returning back for sure.

The staff are lovely, carried our bags to the room and gave us lots of recommendations for the area. They were easy to contact on WhatsApp and very responsive. The location is close to convenience stores and restaurants and is also walking distance to the centre. Walking distance to monkey forest but be careful carrying bags here!

The pool was a little smaller than expected and only a couple of loungers next to it so not able to all be by the pool together (5 of us).

Our Stay at Buda Amitiaba was a wonderful experience. The entrance and the setting is very impressive. The stunning view of the pool and garden is breathtaking and tranquil. We were warmly greeted by lord ganesha sculpture as we stepped into the villa. Not to forget, Ayu's great hospitality made us feel warm and comfortable. It was a very memorable stay at Buda Amitaba, we had a deligtul time spending our vacation there. We will definelty revisit and stay at Buda amitaba during our next trip to bali. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and at home.
