Nice welcome drink, great location and is handy for the rat run along the monkey forest perimeter to get to the main road, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful garden surroundings

I think a stock take is needed and replace any lumpy pillows, pillow cases and sheets that have marks on them, and any towels that have holes in them... they are all clean but it doesn't look good to the customer... maybe a fridge in the room too 🙂

Hotel has a natural green environment and is situated in a less crowded area but very near to Sacred Monkey Forest. Room was decent in size and very comfortable. View from the balcony of our 1st floor deluxe room was very beautiful. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Specifically young lad, Arya. Options for breakfast were limited but the taste was good with a decent portion size. Pool was clean and available any time for a quick dip. Specially, kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Room was cleaned on a daily basis but cleanliness of bathroom and balcony could have been better.

Excellent location. Lovely staff. Very friendly and helpful. The room was peaceful. Good lighting. They cleaned it daily. Nice views from my room and when it rained it was really peaceful. Good shower pressure. Great WiFi.

The hot water was a bit hit and miss. But it can get that hot in Bali that it’s not really an issue if it’s the middle of the day. The bathroom tiles could do with a bit of modernising but overall - all plumbing worked.

After a booking mishap at another property in Seminyak (the booking was made through booking.com but we fell into the trap of “partner offer”), staying at Garden View Ubud was the best choice that my husband and I made. What we thought was gonna be a 2-night stay, ended up being a whole-week stay. The room was tidy and spacious, so spacious that we could do our morning stretches in there. The bed was comfortable. The hotel staff were really attentive, explained the check in process clearly, even went out of their way to drop our takeout food to our door, and brought us extra towels for our swim which we thought was really nice. The pool was nice and clean. The garden is so green and lush, and we were lucky enough to enjoy the view and the sound of birds singing everyday from our terrace. The breakfast was nice and really worth the price. Garden View is quite far from the city centre (not that far if you ride a motorbike), it was around 15-20 mins to the city centre by car, longer if you’re brave enough to walk. We didn’t mind it as we liked the fact that the area is still relatively peaceful and quiet compared to the busy central Ubud. It’s close to the Monkey Forest so you can see some on the streets. There are some nice restaurants nearby.

The water pressure from the shower head was not strong enough. If you plan to bring more than 3 devices, it might be better to bring your own extension cord/s.

Spacious room with big bathroom. Nice, modern, clean room with big comfortable bed, TV, Aircon, fridge, kettle....everything worked as it should. Huge wardrobe with safe box, drinking water, tea and coffee were also provided. Beautiful garden outside with banana and coconut trees around. Nice and clean outdoor swimming pool with sunbeds which I never used and also breakfast facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hotels I've stayed so far in South East Asia as a solo traveller and I would say it was a really good value for money. Nice and quiet location with sounds of nature around. Loads of cafes and restaurants/ warungs within walking distance.

Not much really. The garden gets little bit wet after heavy rain during raining season but it's normal I guess so it's not a complaint as the soil absorbs the water pretty quickly.

Staff are so friendly, they helped me with everything I needed. I also loved the location, there were some nice restaurants nearby which facilitated a lot when we didn’t wanna go to the center. We got the room upstairs with the balcony and it was amazing, comfy bed with a STUNNING view. The bathroom is spacious and they change the towels everyday if you want. Would definitely stay again! (If you are a girl maybe just bring your hairdryer cause the one they have is not so good) 😊😊

Garden View is a great place to stay if you're looking for a hotel on a quieter street in Ubud. Even though it's a quieter area the restaurants cafes and bakeries are outstanding. The gardens and swimming pool are well maintained and the staff are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Lower floor rooms smelt a little musty and the fridge needed cleaning. We relocated after first night to the upper floor with a balcony and that was much fresher.

Awesome wee villa to ourselves for the family room. Very comfortable beds and everything was nice and clean. Neat wee outdoor kitchen for the room with a 20l water which meant you could fill up your drink bottles rather than constantly buying waterbottles. Great location with 4 or 5 options to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Character building walk up the scooter track past monkey forest to the center of ubud

Stairs to upstairs were a bit steep and not ideal with young kids but wouldn't put us off staying again
