The gardens and pool are just stunning! The plants were immense and really made this place so beautiful. Also small temples adding to the idyllic scene. The pool was lovely and we were served tea on the side of the pool. The room was good, bed comfortable, good supply of drinking water and hot water in shower. The little private terrace outside with table and chairs was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty, the dragon fruit smoothie is a must have. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We only had one night here as passing through but happily could have stayed several. Book this place, ideal for walk into Ubud too, you won’t be disappointed. For a wonderful meal recommend walk to Sun Sun Warung, just beautiful. Get there no later than 7.30 though or you could be turned away.

Due to no shower curtain over the bath the bathroom did get quite wet. It is a wet room so not a disaster but the only real negative I can think of.

Loved my stay here. Staff so helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was nice. Very spacious and beautiful balcony overlooking the pool. Close to small shops and restaurants. 10 minute walk to main street

Bed was a little hard but that's my only personal little gripe. I'm just used to a soft bed

The staff were attentive and kind. The room was beautiful. Great location close to central Ubud. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance.

It was very tough to get to the location because of the narrow street getting to the location. By day two we started to meet the tour guides at the bottom of the street. It’s not the fault of the accommodation. There is charm to this dynamic because there is less traffic but it is inconvenient for pick up and drop off. Taxi and tour guides in Ubud never seem to get stressed except getting up and down that street. Ask your driver to drop you off at the bottom of the street and walk 5-10 minutes up the hill.

Traditional family compound turned into rooms with a pool. It's lovely. The place is welcoming and clean and still with a feel of Bali. The bathrooms are not 'high end' but it doesn't matter. There is a family temple next to the pool and the garden is lovely. Evenings sitting outside the room are relaxing and rejuvenating. The road leading to the villas has lots of good restaurants. Staff are very considerate and help with anything you need. They have security on the gate 24hrs.

The access road is narrow and cars struggle to drive with 2 way traffic.

The garden was very beautiful, and the pool was so good after going out during the day. It was quiet and peaceful; no street noise at all. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with good wifi and a tv with many channels. There was a water dispenser in the room, so we didn't have to buy bottled water every day - much better for the environment. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was excellent, and there was also complementary afternoon tea served whilst there.

The street was one-way and a little difficult for car access at busy times, but the drivers were patient and managed it OK. No problem for motorbike access.

What a beautifull location when you open the doors. Central swimming pool between nature. You can order breakfast from extensive menu card and it gets served on your terrace in the morning. Food was great. Staff was friendly. We got some fruit on arrival and there was afternoon tea available. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the authentic details.

Ubud is so busy. We chose this place because it was away from the main street. Only it is in a very narrow dead ended street. Two cars can hardly pass. It took our drivers some time to get there and back. One smart driver asked us to meet us at the main road which is a 5 - 10 min walk which we understood.

The staff is super helpful and friendly. The location of the cottage is superb, it’s far away enough from the main road so that it’s quiet, but still not too far from the center. We really enjoy the nice surroundings. Definitely will go there again for our next visit to Ubud.

just a short walk from Monkey Forrest Rd this place is great. It’s small - only 5 rooms and 1 private pool villa. The garden is beautiful. The pool is great. only 6 pool beds but never crowded. the staff were awesome and breakfast was incredible. Our room was huge with a big side sitting room. We also had a nice outside area where we ate our breakfast and afternoon drinks. just loved it.

Cozy, peaceful and homely, the room was big and the bed, although rather creaky, was really comfortable. Delicious breakfast freshly cooked and brought to our terrace every morning at our chosen time. Plenty of options. During my stay it was my birthday and I was given cake and sang to after breakfast. Wonderful! The garden is beautiful with a large pool. I would highly recommend this property.

The bathroom was a little dated and in need of painting. There was no bedside lamp.
