Close to the center of Ubud, but really feeling like you are in Jungle. Very quiet accommodation, we didn't see anyone else during our stay for 3 nights. The pool was big and nice, very clean too, with a very nice jungle view. The room was spacious and nice. Comfortable stay.

The almost only thing, water pressure. When we tried to use hot water from the shower, it took about 5 minutes for it to come out then the water pressure was very very weak :( The AC was quite loud time to time but didn't bother us too much.

The whole property is amazing. I loved that it was in a quiet street away from the town noise. We didn’t mind the walk from the main street at all. The bungalows are beautiful from outside and on the inside, and the pool and jungle make the whole thing very picturesque and tranquil. The staff was super nice and helpful.

This is just nitpicking really small things, our stay was perfect! Sometimes we’d have liked a little more light in the bungalow, and the breakfast wasn’t really fitting our tastebuds (the smoothie bowl was really nice though!)

The room is just like what the photo shows. We really like the decor. Altogether five rooms in the property near a valley. Quite place, yet a short walk (10 min) can lead you to Ubud centre (palace). Staff are friendly, although some with limited English. Breakfast need to be ordered the night before. Considering it is a small business with only five rooms, it is understandable. We stayed for three nights and tried almost all the options. Mi goreng is really good, highly recommended.

The room is a bit humid, even with air-con on. Guess it is normal with bungalow in a wet season.

We had the most wonderful stay at Parvati Retreat Villas! The location is absolutely perfect in quiet street ideal for walks back from dinners in centre of Ubud, surrounded by nature and offering breathtaking views. The villas themselves are beautifully designed, combining luxury with a cozy. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

The only downsides were the lack of mosquito nets, which would have been helpful (we had our net tent), and the fact that you could hear everything from the neighboring villas, which made it a bit less private and peaceful than expected.

I had a lovely stay at Parvati Retreat Villas. My little hut was lovely and the jungle view was amazing. The pool is clean, and since there are only five huts you get it mostly to yourself. This was a perfect solo-travel place if you're looking for a calm and relaxing place to stay surrounded by forest, but still being close to the center (I don't ride a scooter). The massage service was also lovely. The location is very good, close to Ubud center 10min by foot, but far enough to get away from the noise of the town. By reading some previous reviews about heavy traffic and narrow road to get to hotel I was a bit sceptical, but I didn't find it a problem at all. The traffic in Bali is in general a bit all over the place. The airport transfer went smoothly.

There are some ants in the room, so if you're afraid of insects it might be a little problem. However, this might be inevitable in Bali and places like this.

Incredible accommodation! I loved every aspect. The tranquility, the beautiful view, the quiet, the clean large rooms with comfortable beds, the bath in the bathtub with a window overlooking the jungle. Also, the accommodation is full of beautiful and elaborate details like the ornate doors, the three-tiered pool I don't even need to mention. The only access was a bit difficult, there is a narrow and quite steep path to the accommodation, but the staff helped me with my suitcase immediately 🤗🙌🏻 There are also massages available in the area, but unfortunately I didn't make it. The location is amazing: secluded, far from the city buzz, with the feeling of being in nature, but still accessible. The bedroom exceeded our expectations, very comfortable and clean. Some people mentioned noise from birds and the river, but it was a plus for me. Like a natural noise machine outside your bedroom, making you feel like you're sleeping under the stars, but with the comfort of a nice mattress and AC. The water-filtered tap was an unexpected plus, which did make things much easier.

The breakfast is adequate, but not very varied. I'm happy with it, but I can see how some people might find it too simple, especially after staying for more than a couple of nights.

The room and bathroom were excellent. Breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable. Nice to have a tub and shower option. All the windows and daylight in the room were very nice.

At first, I thought the warm water was gone for the shower, but found that it just takes a while longer than I expected, to get to the shower head. I met two staff. Both were nice and helpful and I found that one had very limited English speaking or understanding, so Google Translate was necessary. Not a big problem, I just did not know in advance.

The villa was so spacious and comfortable with wooden Balinese character, and the forest background was great for privacy. Loved the greenery and gardenscapes.

The location was a bit further from the main streets, as it was all the way uphill on a small narrow street 10 minutes walk), and then another 3-4 minutes to walk down a gentle slope, through reception then down more stoney stairs to reach our villa.

Even before we arrived at Parvati our host reached out to us several times to make sure we were okay for transport and anything else we needed. Customer service throughout our stay was great. We loved the style of the villas, with their beautifully carved painted doors. Inside they were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was so luxurious. It was so nice to have our own little verandah overlooking the pool, which was really clean and inviting. Breakfast was good too. The aircon works really well and the rooms were impeccably clean. The property is about 5 minutes walk to a main street of Ubud which has everything you would want. Spas, restaurants, Ubud Palace, boutique and market shopping. It is a tricky street to walk down to the mainstreet as it is so narrow. We found that if you turn right when you leave the property driveway, rather than left to go down the hill, the footpath/cycleway leads to a wider street with footpath that takes you down to town. The villa is located well for day trips to the temples and rice terraces.

The narrow road to the villa is a bit tricky for walking. It is manageable but you just have to be aware of traffic. I suggest taking the alternative path (Jl. Sri Wedari) to the main street, as described in the main review.
