Absolutely everything about this Villa is great. The private garden, the swimming pool, bathrooms, overall cleanliness, bed, couch, staff and breakfast are all superb. Having two bathrooms in a villa was a huge bonus. The staff are fantastic and I spent quite some time talking with them each day. Jalan Sandat, the road the Villa is located on is a narrow road but there are several ways to combat this. The best way is to walk a very short distance to two other locations that drivers can access easily on the larger roads in the area. Being so close to several good warrants, Seniman Coffee and the main road, you do not need to use a car or scooter to access most of the area. I have quite easily even walked to the Monkey Forrest with 6 young children. Ive stayed in many places across the world and this really stands out as being a premier property, especially considering the price.

The fact I had to leave and come home was my only issue with the property

The style of this villa, the private swimming pool, and the customized breakfast every morning! Sudana provides great assistance and advices! Also, the manager speaks fluent English, we chatted about the culture and Bali, it was impressive and good to know more about the locals. The location is perfect, it is located in a small alley, close to all the tourist attractions, and it has a wonderful view from the balcony! It felt like a newly renovated home in Ubud for newly weds:D

The late night noise from the local temples traditional music practice did bother me, but it isn’t something the Villa can do about the surroundings.

Villa and the pool were exceptionally maintained. It is located close to the central area in Ubud. The staff was very helpful and cheerful. The manager Ketut arranged all our day trips from Ubud. One of the best stays we've ever had anywhere. Highly recommended!

Wonderful crew who took great care of us during our 5-night stay, especially Sudana. The villa is a good size for just the 2 of us. We love hanging out on the balcony and pool, where it's usually quiet. It is close to good eateries, and it's a short 10-min walk to the main road.

It's a minor grouse: the villa is located on a road that is so narrow it really should not be opened to cars. As it is, we often have to scamper to the sides when a car rolls through, sometimes within a hair-raising inch of us.

The Kailas Ubud is exactly as advertised, well kept and serviced by a wonderful group of staff. The breakfast provided each day was excellent. We particularly appreciated the large water cooler provided by the property, which allowed us to refill our own bottles each day.

Not a negative, just something to be aware of. The property is located down a very narrow lane, which some drivers will be reluctant to drive down due to the inability for two cars to pass. It’s about a 10 min walk from the property to the main road. The lane itself is well lit at night and never felt unsafe.

This property is amazing. The host, Sudana, is absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible. He booked our scooter rental and cooked us breakfast every morning. It was a wonderful stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Great location - easy walk to centre of Ubud but still quiet and peaceful. Fantastic pool.

Beautiful villa in a very quiet area away from the madness of Ubud but with a couple of great restaurants a few steps away. The pool was great, a lovely way to relax and cool off after a day out. We were well looked after by fabulous staff which made our stay even more special. A particular thank you to Sudana was our driver and guide on a half day tour.

Comfortable villa, beautiful pool. Fun narrow street that villa is located, gets a bit hectic in taxis but fun. Very close to central Ubud with palace and market only 10mins away...recommend downloading Grab app for taxis is travelling with small children, ubud is crazy busy these days, so longer walks are made much easier this way and it's super affordable

Water doesn't get very hot, and cleven though villa is out of busy town, there was a lot of noise at night.

Lovely place a little away from the chaos of central streets in Ubud. Properly very comfortable, felt private, bed super as was pool etc. Staff lovely and happy to help with tickets and transport. Immaculate, everything worked, decorated to a high standard. No exhaust fumes or noise but Jalan Raya, Monkey Forest Road and Palace only 10 minutes iwalk. Also fabulous Hessa Spa 2 minutes away and very nice Warung across the road.
