The location is great, the place is really nice, the owner is really welcoming. The street is really calm

A fantastic homestay run by a lovely family! We spent Christmas there and the hosts agreed to make us breakfast early before they went to ceremony! They also let us keep our suitcases with them for a week while we drove around the north! The rooms are beautifully designed and the breakfasts they offer are very nice. Great value for money compared to other places in Ubud and not too far from the centre (reachable by walking or by bike). The hosts helped us with everything we needed including visa extensions and transfers to the Gili islands. Cannot recommend this homestay enough. Thanks!

If I'm being picky, the hot water in the shower was a bit temperamental but nothing really!

Is a place full of Flow. I have been several times in Ubud and this is my favourit hotel. It is 3 km from the center, I don't have bike and I walked every day. Ubud is a perfect place to walk so it was amazing. You have bus stop very close. It is a good option to go to the center. The Street is beautiful and paceful. There are Supermarkets and restaurants close so you have everyrhing you need. The staff is kindly and they are very organized. You have facilities lile laundry inside the hotel (you pay apart and they do it). 100% recommended.

Amazing owner and family. Really friendly. Cheap price. And get a lot for it. Especially queen ensuite room. This room was great. Vs the shared bathroom Good location. Near yoga barn and gyms. And easy to get to waterfalls outside ubud Fast WiFi for video calls and working. And again. Price

The kitchen really let it down. I thought to myself, if they fixed the kitchen up and cleaned it, renewed it. It would be the best place ever to stay. I don't ask for much, only simple clean cutlery and a clean surface. Think it's easy for them to do. And would change the impression for guests. Also for shared bathroom, it has to be cleaned more often and soap added. Then it would be better. Ensuite rooms great though.

Gorgeous place. Rooms surrounding a gorgeous balinese garden with family going about their business but leave u a perfect amount of privacy whist being available if needed. Free range rabbit in the garden. Inside parking for scooter. Everything very clean! Every room has terrace area and breakfast is bought to your terrace table. Wifi strong. Loved it here!

It was a little out of town and not too many restaurants close and lack of street lights in some areas so u need a scooter to get to and from town or order a gojek taxi which is super cheap (less than £1) if u download the app.

Damuh Guest House is a nice place to stay in Ubud if you’re on a budget, but still like to have a private room. First I stayed in a room with a private bathroom inside, later I had a shared bathroom. Both were nice rooms with good beds and mosquito nets. The garden is nice and there were kittens running around! Good to know that there is no AC, only a fan. So it’s pretty warm in the room. Best part of the guesthouse for me were the owner and his family. They’re very friendly and kind. When you sit in the garden you’ll see them in their daily life. Giving offerings at the temple, bringing the kids to school, etc.

I chose the guesthouse because of the location, it’s just outside the busy touristic center. When I arrived there I found out that there is a main road constantly full of traffic just around the corner. So it’s still quite noisy here, which is also part of Ubud, I guess.

The staff are really lovely people and we enjoyed the overall space with green space in the middle and small tables in front of the rooms where guests can relax. The rooms are clean and very cosy, nicely designed. It's located about 10 min from the city centre which we preferred beacuse the city centre can be a bit crowded. There are still plenty of restaurants nearby the guesthouse.

The toilets and showers are not that clean. It's manageable but it could do with a bit better maintanence.

Beautiful people, you can stay alone in your room but also meet people in the common spaces, or at least this was my experience. Uaian (the owner) is simply the best. I've used the kitchen, so if you can use the kitchen is 100% worth it. Wi fi wasn't working during my days in the hostel, but i give anyway 5 stars because was an exception of that particular days, not an habit.

- Great location- quiet but only a few minutes drive from the centre/main attractions - Room was clean and comfortable - Loved the garden area- there was a cute litter of kittens on the property

- There was no AC in the room, only a fan so the room was a bit hot at night and we ended up leaving the door open most of the day

Damuh was amazing, really attentive and made us feel really welcomed and at home. He helped organise transfers, trips, bike rental and laundry. The best home stay I’ve stayed at. Cannot recommend enough. The accommodation was a great price, in a good location allowing us to visit all the attractions Ubud has to offer but quiet enough for a peaceful nights sleep.
