This was a very pleasant stay in a centrally located hostel close to many amenities including restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and laundries. The hostel staff were friendly, accommodating and eager to make sure hostel guests had a memorable stay. The evening entertainment was enjoyable with a nice selection of activities. The on-site restaurant served good meals and the pool was well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when vacationing in Kuta Beach Lombok and recommend this place to budget travellers who enjoy socializing with fellow travellers.

Great for party people and socialising. Made a lot of good friends from the events held. The pool was nice and when able to pool chairs were super comfy. Great location to go out and explore as it’s close to everything

At night the music was loud when no one was down in the social area would be nice to turn it down a little bit. And during the day when lounging by the pool it would be nice to not have party music and more chill music or have ability to choose the songs or que songs. There was a lot of mould in the bathroom and it wasn’t super clean

Booked a private room as a couple & it was very basic but super spacious and good value for the price! Nice pool area, very social & the workers here are so fun and friendly 😄 loud music was off at 11pm every night and no one hung around outside too long. Also loved free drink hour for guests!!

Very bright room in the morning as the high windows with no blinds/curtains lets light flood into the room 🫣 bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, and shower was mostly cold during our time here.

Nice that they organize events, the pool and food areas are nice for socializing.

Many people checking in and out, staff was uninterested to help and dismissive. Loud music every night(which is fine cuz it stopped at 11) but then people would continue to laugh/yell and come back drunk and jump in the pool throughout the night and nobody is controlling it. So hard to sleep/relax. Basically if you want a party hostel where you can do whatever you want and not plan on sleeping, this is your place 😂

Honestly hands down 10/10 experience staying here the staff are THE most friendliest team I’ve come across during our 9 month trip around south east Asia, they make you feel so included and valued as a guest and as a person, even just each day greeting you by your name makes a difference and makes you feel like they make an extra effort. They helped us SO much whilst staying there and honestly went above and beyond, we spent 6 nights here and didn’t want to leave as it was truly an amazing experience and I can’t thank them enough for all their help! On top of that we stayed in a private room which was huge, super clean, super comfy bed and really nice and the bathroom was lovely and clean and big too! In a perfect location, definitely stay here!!

We had an amazing stay at this hostel! The place is very clean, and they organize so many fun activities, making it easy to meet other travelers. All staff is super super friendly special thanks to our friend Dirga- without him there is no party at all! And Alwi and Henda for their incredible support and kindness. We will def be back! <3

Really great looking and feeling place. Rooms comfy and clean. Location great for getting to the bars, beach and anything else in Kuta. The staff were amazing, special shout out to gabi!!! They make a special effort to make sure you’re happy and entertained. Loved the food here tooo!! Came back twice :)<3

Nothing really!

Big big big thanks Mad Monkey! From the moment I checked in I was warmly welcomed by the great staff. I had a great time! the dorms were nice and clean, the food was very tasty and the pool was beautiful! Every night there were fun activities, so you get to know a lot of people. From beer pong tournaments, to trivia night and family dinners🫶🏼. There are also really nice people who come and chat with you along the pool, like Fael😃. Everything was well arranged and taken care of. Big thanks to the MadMonkey staff!

Nice staff, location is very central, big bathroom and overall room, the bed sheets were very clean and the duvet was provided which sometimes is hard to find :)

Not as social as I was expecting, I thought it would have been more similar to mad monkey in Gili T but it’s a quieter island so it’s understandable.

Definitely a calmer mad monkey than others, but still great for meeting people & arranging things to do. sturdy bunk beds which were comfy!

Pool water was a bit green & could do with having more toilets upstairs, if someone is in the en suite then have to go all the way downstairs to the communal ones
